Chapter 60 - Facing Real Danger

It was a slightly chilly afternoon.

A girl in an ivory robe was currently sitting with her master in the alchemy room. They were just done concocting alchemy potion for the day and were currently sipping tea.

Yan Hua looked at the girl in front of him. His old face looked slightly restless as if something was bothering him.

As if he had made up his mind, he spoke to his beloved disciple. "Ying Yue, you have been at the bottleneck of Qi Refiner Level 5 for awhile now. As what I have told you before, it'll be harder to break through once you reached Qi Refiner Level 5. So I have a suggestion. In order to help you to help you to breakthrough, you need to face a real danger. I want to send you to a mountain. Do you want to?"

Jiang Ying Yue heard him and a moment of thought.

Long Xing had told her before that although she practiced with him everyday and it did help her a lot, but practicing while facing a real danger would help her tremendously. Because in the face of life and death, you would think faster and react better. It would be dangerous process and you might get killed but the reward would make it worth it.

She too was having a breakdown with the bottleneck. Even with her talent, she was stuck. she was more than willing to practice in the mountain and face danger. She had to get stronger. She would do anything for it!

Therefore, with her face completely calm and mind at ease, she said to her master, "Master, I am willing to go. I am willing to do anything to get stronger."

Yes, she could just eat a pill to help her breakthrough but both Long Xing and Yan Hua had said that taking pills would make her foundation weaker. If she build her cultivation without any help of pill, her foundation would be solid as rock and she could fight someone one or two levels higher than her with no problem.

Yan Hua seemed satisfied but he was worried. But he knew, in order to let her grow, he had to let her practice in that mountain.

With a slightly distressed face, he advised Jiang Ying Yue. "I am sending you to Mount Trux. That mountain has a lot of magical beasts. Don't go to the inner part and just stay at the outer perimeter. Magical beasts of level 1 till level 9 lurks around the outer perimeter. But the inner part might even have an Emperor Regno magical beast! Stay out of it."

Magical beasts had the same level of cultivation as humans. But the slight difference was that they were stronger in terms of skills and they could fight human cultivators 2 levels stronger than them!

There was another category called divine beast. The beasts in this category were ancient beasts that last appeared more than 30 000 years ago. So, it was quit impossible to find one.

Jiang Ying Yue knew of the danger and she would stay out of the inner perimeter of the mountain.

"I understand master. May I know when will I be going?"

"You'll be going in a week. In the mean time, prepare the things that needed to be brought. You will be there for a month. Do you want to go there with your friends?" Yan Hua asked.

'Friends? Ah Fan Xiu and Liu Weimin.'

"Hmm I will ask Weimin but I don't know about Fan Xiu. He is busy these days so I don't think I'll ask him." Jiang Ying Yue answered.

The last time she met Fan Xiu was 2 weeks ago during the Mid-Autumn Festival and he had told her that he would be away for a bit of time for personal reason. She did not mind it though.

Meanwhile, she met Liu Weimin once a week because that guy would pester her to accompany him out and he would nag her to not only stay at home but she needed to have fun too.

Honestly, it felt quite nice having a friend like him. In her past life, she used to just stay at home or her lab to work. She would only go out when Su Zihao wanted to meet her so having a friend like this was quite nice.

"Hmm alright then. Are you going out tomorrow?" Yan Hua asked.

"Yes master. I have promised to meet Weimin tomorrow for lunch so I'll talk to him about this matter when I meet him." Jiang Ying Yue smiled.

Jiang Ying Yue then retreated as she was done for the day and she would have dinner in her space with Long Xing.

Nowadays, she would buy raw materials when she went to town and stock it up in her space. She would sometimes cook in her space and have dinner with Long Xing.

And she also noticed one thing in her space. The things that came together with her penthouse would be restocked back as long as she use her Spiritual Qi and materialized it by imagining it. So, a lot of things were endless! Yahoo!

She also discovered one more thing. That devil, Long Xing, since the time he could use the kitchen on his own, she had been noticing her instant noodles and ice creams decreasing. She knew he ate them! Hahaha how cute.

Not that she mind though. She could always restock them back.

Currently, Jiang Ying Yue was sitting with Long Xing having dinner in the Godly Space. It wasn't dinner time yet in the space but it was in the outside world though.

Long Xing had been enjoying her cooking so much that he did not mind eating with her at anytime at all.

Today, Jiang Ying Yue cooked spicy noodle with braised beef. Both of them ate with gusto.

Jiang Ying Yue decided to tell Long Xing about her future trip.

"Long Xing, I will be going to Mount Trux in a week. Master said that since I have been having a bottleneck for a while now, I need to go practice outside."

Long Xing paused and looked at her. He seemed to be thinking about something and after a while, he nodded. "I don't know where Mount Trux is but since your master was the one who suggested it, I'm guessing that it's a good place to practice and cultivate. It's that you are going."

Jiang Ying Yue had already expected that he would agree. Long Xing was someone who think rationally well not until his family was brutally murdered though.

Well, she had heard before that Mount Trux was a dangerous place that was even more dangerous than Caedis Forest at Blazing Sun Empire. A lot of people wouldn't dare to take even a step there but some brave mercenaries and cultivators would go there to practice.

But most of them only entered the forest and never left.

It could only mean one thing; they were dead!

But that did not stop her from going! More danger meant more benefit! She would go and become stronger.
