Chapter 64 - Bandits

Jiang Ying Yue counted the footsteps based on her hearing.

There were a total of 20 of them.

Good. A great time to enhance her skills.

On the outside, the leader of the bandits signaled his men to surround the camp. They were not scared. They knew that there was only 2 teenagers in the tent and they weren't even that strong.

They had already tied the coachman up.

Heh how stupid travelling without any guards when they were that weak.

He then looked at his subordinates who had surrounded the camp in no time.

He then opened his mouth, "You two in the tents come out here and don't resist. You have already been surrounded so be obedient and come out."

Following that, two teenagers came out of their tents. One was a young man dressed in a dark green robe and was a girl in white.

They both looked weak and strong.

"Wh- what do you want?" The girl in white said timidly.

Hearing this voice, Liu Weimin raised his eyebrow slightly. As far as he knew, this girl was a brave one. Well, maybe she really was scared this time. It was okay though, he would protect her.

The leader of the bandits smiled smugly.

Jiang Ying Yue looked at the big, burly man in front of her. He had a scar across his face, his hair was long and messy and his teeth were yellow. She almost wanted to vomit right then and there.

"What we want? Of course to rob you. Hand over all the things in your space rings to us. Don't try to cheat or we will kill you!" The leader warned.

Liu Weimin was annoyed but he kept mum. He would follow whatever Jiang Ying Yue wanted to do and he would attack one any one of the bandits hurt his Yue Yue.

Jiang Ying Yue still kept that timid facade. "Si- sir, don't hurt us. We will give it t-to you." With that, she waved her hands and various spices wrapped in paper, a pouch of silver and a few random accessories appeared on the ground. "Take it sir. T-that is all I have."

Liu Weimin saw the things on the ground and almost burst out laughing. He knew then what he had to do.

He would play along then. His face then changed to a timid one. All this while, Liu Weimin had always kept his head low so the leader of the bandits did not see his face at all.

Liu Weimin waved his hands and 5 raw chickens wrapped in paper appeared. There were also a pouch of filled with silver and golds, male head ornaments and a dark blue robe.

The leader of the bandits knew that he couldn't snitch the teenagers' space rings because every space ring was bound to their owner by blood and could only be opened by them.

Thus, he could only resort to forcing them to take out the things in their space rings.

Upon seeing the things on ground, his mouth twitched.

Raw chicken? Ha truly someone who's pampered since small. That kid couldn't even hunt. Thus, the leader let his guard down more thinking that these kids were truly too weak.

Jiang Ying Yue on the on the other hand was having a hard time to stop herself from laughing. She knew that Liu Weimin got her secret message to play along but upon seeing the raw chicken, she wanted to die.

That was truly insulting for a bandit to steal raw chicken alright?

But the leader did not think like that. He then asked one of his subordinates to get the pouches to give to him.

He received them and opened the pouches. Huh! One was filled with silvers and one was filled with silvers and gold coins.

He was right! These kids were truly rich!

What he did not know was, both Jiang Ying Yue and Liu Weimin gave him the pouch with the least amount of money in it to him. The leader nodded his head satisfactorily. He knew that the kids were not lying.

The leader sneered. "Heh. You have seen our faces and you will probably go back and tell your parents about us and they will search for us so why would we risk it and let you go? Blame your luck then. You can only die here!"

A fee men then came forward held Jiang Ying Yue and Liu Weimin in place. One of them spoke up, "Leader, who should we kill first?"

"Heh kill the man first. Then this girl... heh we can sell her." The leader was happy thinking of selling this girl. Her eyes were truly really pretty.

Hearing his words, Liu Weimin got angry.

The leader was stunned! He quickly ordered subordinates. "Men! Seize him but don't kill him. I'll let him watch something fun later."

13 men surrounded Liu Weimin.

All of them were at least at Qi Refiner Level 3 and 2 of them were even at Qi Refiner Level 5!

Jiang Ying Yue wanted to help but there were 3 men holding her. Plus, she wanted to see what the leader would do first. Of course! She would not let her friend be in danger.

He knew now why his father let him to go on this trip. He was truly too weak!

Liu Weimin kneeled and looked at the leader of the bandits angrily.

Jiang Ying Yue's gaze darken. She knew she had to keep her emotions in check to avoid the dark element in her body from going rampant.

She closed her eyes to calm herself down but the next words from the leader caused her to change.

The leader smiled smugly. "Hey boy. You want to save her? You are just too weak. Initially, I wanted to just sell her. But now, you will see your little sister getting fucked in front of you."

Liu Weimin yelled instantly. "No! Let her go! Kill me and torture me all you want but let her go!"

His eyes were red.
