Chapter 116 - Are You Gay?

At the pavilion near the frozen lake, sat 6 figures across each other.

The pavilion had a long table in the middle of it that accommodate up to 8 people at a time so Jiang Ying Yue and her group had no problem sitting there at all.

Naturally, Jiang Ying Yue sat in the middle and next to her was Han Jinghua and Mu Shao Qing. It caused Fan Xiu's eyes to darken further and across Jiang Ying Yue sat Liu Weimin with Fan Xiu to his left and Han Jianyu to his right.

Sitting right across Fan Xiu, Mu Shao Qing could see his every expression and he certainly did not miss Fan Xiu's dissatisfaction on him.

So, Du San was right. This guy did have feelings for his woman. Tsk how amusing.

"I guess I owe Fan Xiu and Weimin explanation right? But this matter is a bit embarrassing so if you guys want to talk privately, we can go somewhere else." Jiang Ying Yue started.

Liu Weimin looked at her and said, "No need. We are all best friends here and Young Master Fan is involved in this so there's no need to be secretive. But.." He gazed over at the cold Mu Shao Qing from the corner of his eye.

Jiang Ying Yue saw his gaze and she turned to look at Mu Shao Qing. "Shao Qing, we have something important to discuss here, so could you please leave for a bit?"

The man's eyes darkened instantly. 'This woman is asking me to go away? No way!'

"Is it a threat to any of you if I listen? Will it attract enemies?" He asked.

Jiang Ying Yue shook her head. "No but-"

"Then the matter is settled. I'll just listen." He cut her off.

Jiang Ying Yue just chuckled. This man was so stubborn. Well, based on how he looked, he wasn't the type to spread rumors or spill anyone's secret anyways. Plus, that guy saved her and knew her secret so she just let her be.

"Alright. Sit quietly and don't interfere." She glared and warned Mu Shao Qing. The man just shrugged his shoulders.

He didn't care about these people in front him. He just wanted to be with her.

Liu Weimin didn't care much about Mu Shao Qing. He was more curious on why Jiang Ying Yue did what she did just now.

"Actually, I have been suspecting something ever since Weimin first met Fan Xiu. Everytime Weimin sees Fan Xiu, he will act weirdly so I suspected him to like Fan Xiu. But based on your reaction tonight Weimin, I don't think that you are." Jiang Ying Yue looked at Liu Weimin.

Liu Weimin had a shocked and perplexed expression on his face. So all this while she noticed me behaving weirdly? And she thought I was gay? Me?!

Liu Weimin felt like fainting. Just how extraordinary was this girl's imagination?!

"So because I acted weirdly you thought I was gay?!"

"Yea. So are you gay?"

Liu Weimin shook his head vehemently to prove he wasn't. "No! I am not gay."

"Then why?" Jiang Ying Yue was puzzled.

Then, Liu Weimin just looked left and right trying to find excuse to his weird behavior. He knew that he needed to be honest now to clear this misunderstanding.

His face turned red and even redder when he saw Fan Xiu's intense gaze on him.

"Yue Yue ah. Actually- actually I have been acting weirdly b-because I was trying to make sure whether he is my-my first love or not." Liu Weimin's head lowered down in embarrassment.

This made all the people around the table even more confused. All except for Mu Shao Qing of course. He didn't care, he just stayed for his woman.

"Then your first love is a man that looks like Young Master Fan?" Han Jinghua took this chance the question.

Liu Weimin frantically shook his hands in the air. "No no. My first love is a woman. The thing is she looks just like Young Master Fan. I have been acting weirdly because I wanted to make sure their resemblance and I was too embarrassed to ask if Young Master Fan has a sister."

Fan Xiu answered him almost immediately. "No I don't."

Disappointment could be seen on Liu Weimin's face.

"Tell me how did you meet this first love of yours." Jiang Ying Yue said. She had a feeling that there was something wrong here.

"Alright. I met her a year ago." Liu Weimin started narrating his story.

-Liu Weimin's love story-

It was night time and Liu Weimin had just finished his dinner at the biggest restaurant at Town Caligo when he saw someone playing flute on the first floor of the restaurant.

It was a normal thing for the restaurant to have a performer playing flute or zither there. Liu Weimin was used to hearing it but this time it was different. The sound of the flute carried emotions, stirring his heart.

He was on the third floor in a private room alone so he could have a clearer view of the person playing the flute behind the curtain.

Yes, people on the first and second floor could only see her silhouette behind the curtain because of the position of their tables. But third floor was different. Liu Weimin's room was positioned near the curtain so he could see who was playing.

The woman wore a peach colored robe, playing the flute gracefully. For once, he was entranced and didn't move his eyes at all.

The woman wore a veil to cover her face but he knew that she must be a beauty.

The song soon ended and he was still entranced. When Liu Weimin realized his surroundings, he immediately looked at the girl only to find her no longer there.

He felt sad and a sense of loss overwhelmed him. In disappointment, he payed and went out of his room.

Suddenly, he bumped into a person causing the other person to almost to almost fall. Like a romantic story, he extended his hands and caught the person in his embrace.

Coincidentally, the veil covering the person's face fell because it was accidentally tugged by Liu Weimin, revealing a beautiful face underneath.

It was then Liu Weimin realized that this was the same girl who played the flute just now!But before he could do anything, the girl broke free from his embrace, said sorry and walked away, bringing his heart with her.

Since then, he went to the restaurant almost everyday whenever he was in town to just catch a glimpse of her but unfortunately, he never did.

"So that was what happened. When I met Young Master Fan for the first time, I was shocked to see the resemblance between him and that girl. I don't even know her name but she is still the love of my life ah! I'm not gay. I kept my first kiss for her only to be stolen tonight!" Liu Weimin ended his story in a dramatic manner.

All of them nodded their heads in understanding. So it was like that.

"Puchi!"*Cough cough*

With Liu Weimin's last remark, Fan Xiu chocked on his tea.

Jiang Ying Yue was worried so she asked, "Are you okay Fan Xiu?"

The man beside her was drinking vinegar yet again! "He is fine. He won't die from chocking tea." Mu Shao Qing said in a displeased tone.

Jiang Ying Yue glared at him and didn't say anything. She looked over at Fan Xiu and asked again, "What's wrong? Are you alright?"

She had noticed just now when Liu Weimin was telling his story, the more they listened to it, the more Fan Xiu expression turned unsightly. Of course, he tried to hide it under his calm facade but this time, he failed!

"I am alright Ying Yue. I just- I think I need to clarify something." He looked at Liu Weimin seriously.

"Young Master Liu, actually, the woman that day- it was indeed me. I wore a female clothing and a bit of make up on that day to play flute at the restaurant because the restaurant belongs to my uncle and his performer was sick on that day so he asked me to help. Which well, causing me to wear girl's robe and make up."

WHAT?!

"So, my first love is a guy?! It's you?!" Liu Weimin looked defeated like a deflated balloon.

What kind of plot twist was this?!

He had been loyal and fell in love with a guy?!

Han Jinghua who had been trying hard to stifle her laugh finally laughed out loud while saying. "Haha but you did kiss your first love, like you dream of. Hahaha."

She laughed till tears came out of her eyes. She was rejoicing on Liu Weimin's misfortune!

So funny! She was going to die!

Jiang Ying Yue wanted to laugh too but she didn't want to hurt Liu Weimin's feelings, so her face turned red trying to hold it in.

Finally, the matter was cleared with a plot twist in the end.
