This man was the man that came out of the bar with Lou Shaotang the other day. I thought he looked familiar the last time I saw him. I still feel that way today, but I just can't remember where I've seen him before.

The man was also startled when he saw me, and looked at Lou Shaotang suspiciously.

"Lou Shaotang." I called out to him but he ignored me, "Lou Shaotang, where are we going now? "Should we go home or …"

"To the beach."

There was no emotion in his voice. I nodded, stopped talking, and started the car to the beach.

Having just returned from the sea, I had little interest in the sea. I sat by myself on the beach, doing nothing. Lou Shaotang stood on a reef not far from me. Like a silent and towering mountain, he gazed at the vast and boundless ocean before him.

I don't know what he was thinking at the moment, but from the look on his face and the look in his eyes, he wasn't very happy.

I looked up at him, not sure if it was the light, but the corners of his mouth seemed to be curling upward.

I stood up and patted the sand off my body. "Dogs are always dogs, but sometimes people aren't people," I said sarcastically. As I said this, I thought of Yang Mengzhu.

Lou Shaotang stared fixedly at me, his gaze seemingly filled with an unfathomable meaning, I did not probe deeply.

As we walked along the shoreline, a couple of couples were taking wedding photos on the beach in front of us. They looked ordinary, but their smiles were so happy that I thought I would never be able to smile like them.

A gust of wind blew the white veil from the bride's head into my hand, and the photographer came to ask me for it back.

"Mister and Madam, you guys should come take a picture as well. The scenery here is really good!" The bride kindly invited us.
