I won't let you go!
I didn't know what he was going to do. His face was not angry, nor was it sarcastic. It was filled with grief and unwillingness.
"Lou Shaotang, let go of me." Maybe I didn't want to leave him, I said, but I didn't take his hand.
"Why?" "It seems like he couldn't figure it out and couldn't accept it at all." Weren't we fine before! "
"Why not?" "You have a responsibility you cannot shirk, and I don't want to share it with you. I want to live a life of ease and without burden. So I'm definitely going to get divorced. "
"No, I won't divorce. I won't divorce." Lou Shaotang flatly refused as he held my hand, "If it's because of Ke Er and Heng Heng, I can send them abroad and not let you see them again."
"If you can't see it, then it doesn't exist?" I tore off his hand, ridiculing him. "Lou Shaotang, if you want to be an ostrich, I won't accompany you."
Lou Shaotang closed his eyes and took a deep breath. It was as if I could hear his sorrow and helplessness from this breath.
"Then what do you want me to do?" His tone revealed that he was truly at his wit's end.
I couldn't bear it, but I had to harden my heart.
"Divorce." I spat out two words.
"No!" Lou Shaotang's tone suddenly changed, it became resolute and stubborn, "Tu Ying, I've said it before, you are my, Lou Shaotang's, wife in this life, I will not let you go!"
I clenched my hands tightly, digging my nails into the flesh of my palms, suppressing the pain in my heart as I gave a disdainful smile, "Lou Shaotang, you can't have both the fish and bear paws. Let go, don't be a scoundrel. "
"I'm not letting go!" He stared at me, still unwilling to give up, and then took out his phone, "I'll send Ke Er and Heng Heng away now."
Seeing that he was already dialing, I immediately stopped him. "No!" He steeled his heart and attacked the most, "To tell you the truth, I'm already living with Di Jin."
"What did you say?" Lou Shaotang's hand suddenly stopped as the corner of his eye twitched. His originally sorrowful eyes once again flashed with grief, as well as terror and pain from the shock.
"I am currently living with Di Jin. Before long, we will get married and then return to France together. Lou Shaotang, we are finished. End, do you understand? " I purposely ignored his grief and finished what I was saying in a single breath, the abominable smile on my face making me want to smack myself when I saw it.
"Don't even think about it." After a while, he squeezed out these words word by word. His tone was full of determination.
My heart palpitated, but I let out a contemptuous laugh. "This is not up to you to decide. You understand Di Jin, if you don't want to leave, he has ways to make you leave. When the time comes and you have suffered, I won't be able to help you. "
As expected, the corner of Lou Shaotang's eyes twitched, the muscles on the side of his face tensed up, and his grief froze on his face.
I smiled at him, tears streaming down my face.
"Heh ~ heh ~"
It was as though a century had passed, a sorrowful sneer was gradually emitted from Lou Shaotang's throat. He looked at me with a cold gaze, then reached behind the car handle and pulled it away, his body slowly retreating backwards.
With a bang, the car door was slammed shut by him, causing my heart to tremble violently.
All the hard camouflage crumbled at the instant his figure disappeared, and tears flooded down my cheeks. I leaned back in my chair, clutching my chest.
I don't know how I got back to the villa, but when I walked into the living room I was so exhausted that I felt like I was going to collapse. The fever that hadn't completely subsided before had started again, and I felt like I was being roasted.
Di Jin was still awake, he was sitting on the sofa and seemed to have been waiting for me.
I glanced at him, touched my head, and trudged up the stairs.
He got up and walked over to me, touched my forehead, and his initial frown deepened. "I'll take you to the hospital."
Hearing the word "hospital", I immediately thought of how I proposed divorce to Lou Shaotang in Zheng Keer's sickroom. I blocked his hand and said with resistance, "No need, I'm not going to the hospital."
"You have a bad fever. You must go." Di Jin persisted.
"I said no! Are you deaf?! " I lost control and yelled at him.
Di Jin was silent. He bit his lips and stared at me for a few seconds before picking me up and walking up the stairs.
Because I had used up the last of my strength in that roar, I did not speak. I closed my eyes and resigned myself to his fate.
I opened my eyes and saw that I had been placed on the bed by Di Jin, who was covering me with a blanket.
After covering himself with the blanket, he opened the drawer of the bedside table and took out a thermometer to measure the temperature of my ears. After taking a look, he placed the thermometer on the bedside table, turned around, and went to the bathroom.
After a while he came out with a basin, took a chair against the wall and went to the bed. He placed the basin on the chair, sat on the edge of the bed, pulled out the towel, wrung it out, and began to wipe my face.
"Don't worry about me. I'll just take a pill and sleep." I raised my hand to block him. I'm not used to a stranger taking care of me like this, moreover, it's the Di Jin that I hate the most.
"You just took some medicine, you can't take it again until six hours later." He took my hand and continued to wipe it.
I was so depressed that I didn't have the energy to argue with him, so I let him be.
After wiping his face, he gave me another cup of warm water. Then he spread a warm towel on my forehead and covered me with the blanket.
"Go to sleep, it's good as long as you're covered in sweat."
I had closed my eyes when he said this, and I didn't know what happened next. It was morning when I woke up again.
When I opened my eyes, I saw Di Jin sitting on the chair beside my bed. He had his arms wrapped around his head and had fallen asleep. He must have been watching over me all night.
I slowly sat up, but did not make any sound, but Di Jin immediately woke up.
"You're awake?" Because he had just woken up, his voice was somewhat hoarse.
I nodded expressionlessly and pulled back the covers.
"Don't get up yet." He immediately stood up to stop me. He touched my forehead, curled his lips in satisfaction, and covered me with the blanket once more. "The fever is gone. Let me pour you a cup of water." He took the empty glass from the bedside table and left the room.
I turned to the bedside table and reached for my phone. I saw a few used cotton swabs lying next to it. Her lips were wet and dry. I must be because Di Jin had been wetting my lips with water the entire time.
He suddenly felt an indescribable feeling in his heart.
Very quickly, Di Jin returned with a cup of water. He passed the cup to me and said, "Drink it." His voice had returned to its usual sexy magnetism.
I took it. "Thank you."
I drank the water in one gulp because I was so thirsty.
"Hungry?" he asked me, taking the empty glass from me.
I touched my stomach. "A little."
"I've made you some congee. I'll serve it later. I'll get some water for you to wash up for now." He set the glass on the nightstand and headed back to the bathroom.
"No need, I'll do it myself." I stopped him.
He paused only for a moment, then continued on his way.
I sighed and leaned against the headboard. After a while, he got a basin of water from the bed and washed my face and rinsed my mouth. Then, he went downstairs to bring the porridge.
"Ring, ring, ring ~ ~ ~"
The phone in his hand rang.
My heart skipped a beat. Could it be Lou Shaotang, right?
A hint of disappointment flashed through his heart. In the next second, his heart leaped into his throat.
"Hello?" I say, my hand shaking as I slide the answer button.
"Lou Taitai, I am Qin Lang." Qin Lang's respectful voice came from the other side of the phone.
"Yes, what is it?" He had guessed what it was that he had called me about, but he pretended not to know.
Qin Lang was silent for a few seconds, then said: "Mr. Lou has already entrusted the matter of divorce to me, I would like to know if you have any time right now, is it convenient for you to come over to talk?"
Indeed.
It was clearly the result he had hoped for, but his heart had plummeted to the depths of its depths. Taking a deep breath, I pretended to be calm and said, "Alright, where is it?"
"Tianyue."
"Alright, I'll come over now."
I'll change after I hang up.
Seeing me go downstairs, Di Jin said in astonishment: "Didn't I tell you not to get up?"
"I have something to take care of. I need to go out."
"What is it?" He put his spoon back in the casserole and stared at me.
"The company's business is a bit urgent and needs to be dealt with immediately." I lied. I didn't want him to know that I was going to Heaven to talk about my divorce from Lou Shaotang.
His expression loosened as the corner of his mouth curled up into a smile, "Why are you so anxious? I'll send you back after the meal."
I pulled out a chair and sat down. "No, I told the secretary she would come and pick me up." If I had known he would do this, I would have prepared myself.
"Alright, finish the porridge first." Without a doubt, he brought the bowl of porridge to me.
Not long after he finished his porridge, the secretary arrived. Di Jin instructed her a few words, telling her to take good care of me. The secretary nodded in agreement and then drove me to the Heaven's Moon Building.
