C3 – What A Terrifying New World!
Lee Tian looked up and scanned his surroundings. To his utter shock, he found himself encircled by tens of thousands of ants! This chapter is updated by nov(e)(l)biin.com
The chilling aura of malice was emanating from the massive swarm.
Several larger ants pointed at him, bellowing, “He’s killed one of us. He’s an undercover agent from the Spider Tribe! He’s a spider!”
Following their lead, the rest of the ants joined in, chanting at Lee Tian, “You are a spider! You are a spider!”
The ants closed in on him.
“You’re the spiders! Your entire family are spiders!” Lee Tian yelled back, sprinting away to save his skin.
He could hardly believe that in less than a day of becoming an ant, he’d turned into public enemy number one among his new peers.
What terrible karma had he accrued to end up like this?
Lee Tian bolted. Leveraging his superior intellect, he managed to dodge the relentless ant mob.
He took refuge under a leaf, careful not to reveal his location. Discovery by the ants would spell his doom.
A colossal beast, its body armored in scales, strutted by right before Lee Tian’s eyes!
The ‘leopard’ ablaze with fire was so fearsome it seemed to be breathing flames!
Indeed, it was the fierce leopard’s fiery coat that made the temperature of the area skyrocket.
The spider that had appeared earlier was already a behemoth to Lee Tian as he was now.
Yet this bizarre leopard, dwarfing the spider by more than a hundredfold, was even more horrifying.
Lee Tian himself was minuscule in comparison, not even the size of one of the leopard’s scales!
He watched the flame-wreathed leopard recede into the distance, standing there, dumbstruck.
In his past life, he had seen leopards in zoos, but never one like this—devoid of fur, covered in scales, and engulfed in flames.
As he struggled to shake off the astonishment of witnessing the leopard, a massive bird soared across the sky!
Lee Tian watched the giant bird glide overhead, reminiscent of a Winged Dragon he’d only encountered in history books.
What kind of world had he found himself in?
