C37 – The Terrifying Scar!Follow current novels at novelhall.com)

The Fiery-eyed Lion limped, its right foot oozing blood.

Out of nowhere, its third eye unleashed five or six fireballs that screamed toward Lee Tian.

The fireballs were formidable, radiating intense heat. Lee Tian felt the scorching temperature even before they neared him, and the weeds at his side burst into flames.

With the fireballs closing in, he tapped into his Agility talent to deftly evade each one.

The Fiery-eyed Lion was taken aback to see such a tiny creature dodge its fiery assault with such ease, feeling both shock and an unexplained sense of threat.

It knew that failing to swiftly eliminate this ‘ant’ would lead to unending problems.

With that thought, the lion’s barrage of fireballs grew even more vicious.

Lee Tian was relentlessly pursued across the grass, nimbly darting to and fro, putting some distance between himself and the beast.

The Fiery-eyed Lion followed in hot pursuit, but its limp slowed it down, forcing it to rely on frequent fireball attacks.

Yet, one of Green’s teeth got lodged in the tiger’s neck and snapped off.

“My tooth!” Green cried out in agony, a mix of anxiety, rage, and heartache overwhelming it.

But as the even more enraged Scarface Swordtooth Tiger charged at it, Green had no choice but to swallow its complaints. It had to make a run for it—that was the task Lee Tian had assigned. Lee Tian needed Green to distract the tiger, allowing him to concentrate on the Fiery-eyed Lion.

The Fiery-eyed Lion, witnessing the Scarface Swordtooth Tiger entangled by a snake, heaved a resigned sigh. It seemed it couldn’t rely on the tiger for assistance.

Just then, it sensed a menacing presence closing in.

Turning sharply, it was stunned to see a dark figure lunging at it, brandishing two chillingly gleaming scythes.

It was Lee Tian!

With a thunderous roar, the Fiery-eyed Lion swiftly backed away, narrowly evading Lee Tian.

But it wasn’t quick enough; a deep gash was slashed across its face, stretching from the left eyebrow to the right corner of its mouth, looking frightfully ghastly.

This new wound was far worse than the scar marring the face of the Scarface Swordtooth Tiger.

Yet, the scars on their faces were a terrifying sight to behold.
