Ren Shuhan half-carried and half-tugged him into the next door equipment room, casually locking the door.

“Good,” Ren Shuhan nuzzled against his neck with his nose, taking in his sweet scent. He grabbed his waist and pressed him against a raised cushion. “Is it here that you want me to bite?”

He bit down on a small mole behind Jiang Qingyue’s ear, right on the edge of his gland.

“Ah…” Jiang Qingyue exclaimed, his face turning red as he covered his mouth. “Don’t…”

Being young, he hadn’t experienced these things before. He sounded brave with his words, but he was weak in practice.

However, Ren Shuhan was already committed to him, so who cared? He bit his shoulder twice, leaving several marks, and asked, “Is it here?”

“No,” Jiang Qingyue said with a teary voice, “it’s here.”

He held Ren Shuhan’s hand and guided it to his gland, his fingers trembling.

“I bit it?” Ren Shuhan rubbed his fingertip against that small patch of fair skin repeatedly.

Jiang Qingyue clenched his knees, his eyes intoxicated, but suddenly confessed, “Actually, I’m not drunk. I was pretending.”

Ren Shuhan found him so adorable that he couldn’t help but hold him and laugh for a while. When he saw that Jiang Qingyue was a bit displeased, he pinched his lips and said, “But I can’t hold back anymore. Can you help me? Let me take a bite, okay?”

Jiang Qingyue made a vague “mm” sound and nodded, not lowering his head. But before he could react, Ren Shuhan licked him.

“Ah!”

The sensation was too overwhelming, as if his whole body was melting. He immediately struggled and said, “No.” However, Ren Shuhan exerted a bit of force, holding him down, and licked him twice more before stopping.

“No more?” Ren Shuhan bit his cheek and asked, “Won’t let me bite anymore?”

Jiang Qingyue made a couple of whimpering sounds and shook his head.

“Really won’t let me bite anymore?”

Ren Shuhan let go of him, but he grabbed Ren Shuhan’s collar and wouldn’t let him go, still shaking his head.

“Yeah,” Ren Shuhan’s tone turned stern. “Do you want me bite or not?”

Jiang Qingyue was about to cry: “Bite me, but go slower.”

“Baby,” Ren Shuhan tightened his grip around him, “How can you be so adorable? I really like you.”

Jiang Qingyue widened his eyes, his face turning even redder. He was about to say something, but Ren Shuhan forcefully sucked on his gland, causing him to cry out immediately: “Mmm…”

He couldn’t think straight at all and could only hold onto Ren Shuhan tightly, crying incessantly.

Ren Shuhan was afraid of stimulating him, so at first, he only sucked on the gland without expecting Jiang Qingyue to almost break down from just those gentle bites. He had to bring it to a quick resolution and lightly bit down.

Jiang Qingyue almost screamed. Ren Shuhan couldn’t stand it any longer and covered his mouth before finally biting down. Ren Shuhan’s Alpha fangs injected pheromones like a vampire, and he licked the area twice before slowly releasing it.

The two of them embraced silently in the cramped space for two minutes. When Ren Shuhan let go of him, Jiang Qingyue covered his face, his whole body soaked, and his white sportswear showed a faint flushed skin.

Ren Shuhan shifted his gaze and pulled out an identical school uniform from behind him. He handed it to Jiang Qingyue and said, “It’s new. Change into this. I’ll go out and cool off.”

Jiang Qingyue: “?”

Fortunately, he was still a bit dizzy, so he didn’t question where the clothes came from.

Ren Shuhan closed the door to the equipment room and squatted in the hallway, rubbing his face.

“Brother Han?” a familiar voice asked. “What are you doing here?”

Surprisingly, it was a familiar face, Yan Huan, the antagonist in this book.

He had the same name and appearance as the antagonist from the previous world, but his character had changed from being paranoid and dark to a sunny and affectionate puppy. It was probably due to the author’s laziness or lack of naming creativity, which was quite unfortunate.

“Hiding someone in the room?” Yan Huan glanced at the equipment room behind him.

“My O1Omega,” Ren Shuhan asked, “Where did you come from?”

The door to the neighboring medical room was open, but the mango scent had already dissipated.

“Heh, I marked an Omega, who goes into heat everywhere. He doesn’t take suppressants himself and didn’t even have time to call an ambulance. If it weren’t for me, his glands would’ve stopped functioning properly. But even after I helped him, he still scolded me.” Yan Huan shrugged and stuck out his tongue. “I regret it a lot. I’ll go rinse my mouth first.”

After he left, Ren Shuhan thought for a moment, knocked on the door, and said to Jiang Qingyue, “It seems like Song Xici has been marked by a stranger who passed by. I’m going to check on him.”

A new problem had arisen, and Jiang Qingyue didn’t have any answers to it. However, he recalled Chu Lu saying that he should be more careful, so he shook his head and refused, “Don’t go.”

I’ll go.

Wasn’t it a foul for him to lose his temper occasionally? Ren Shuhan covered his chest, feeling attacked by Jiang Qingyue’s cuteness.

“He seems to have a grudge against you,” Ren Shuhan explained. “I’ll go talk to him and convince him to stay away from me in the future.”

This time, Jiang Qingyue was happy and nodded with a smile.

Ren Shuhan gave Jiang Qingyue’s hand a gentle squeeze and smiled: “I’ll be back soon.”

There were some things he wanted to clarify with Song Xici.

In the previous world, he had caused some trouble by not bothering to explain things to Gu Weici in detail. Although it was resolved smoothly, he didn’t want to encounter a similar situation this time with Qingyue since they got along so well.

Song Xici was lying on the bed in the medical room, staring blankly at the ceiling.

After Ren Shuhan entered the room, Song Xici shed a tear and asked, “Why did you come?”

I’ll go… Why does it sound like I’m a scumbag who made you have an abortion? Ren Shuhan had a headache. If Qingyue were here, it would be impossible to clear up the misunderstanding.

Ren Shuhan straightforwardly asked, “Do you like me?”

Song Xici’s mental state was fragile at the moment, and he felt completely defeated after being marked by someone else. Maybe he should be more compliant, so he nodded.

“What do you like about me?”

Ren Shuhan: Can’t I change it?

“Your personality,” Song Xici gave a standard answer.

“What kind of personality do you think I have?”

“An iceberg?”

“Am I usually silent, only speaking one or two words? I’m not that kind of person at all. If I’ve given you that impression, it’s only because I didn’t feel like talking to you,” Ren Shuhan leaned against the door, crossing his arms. “I’m not a cold machine. In fact, what I enjoy the most is having conversations with the person I like.”

Song Xici realized that he should change his answer to the previous question, but he couldn’t think of anything.

Good looks, athletic ability, and great grades?

He couldn’t say any of those. They were all too shallow and wouldn’t earn him any points.

“I’ll make a guess. You’re not really interested in me as a person; you just want to be the center of attention, and I happen to be the person who makes you look the best,” Ren Shuhan stared directly at him.

Feeling like his innermost thoughts had been exposed, Song Xici quickly closed his eyes.

“I don’t know what your intentions are in pursuing a romantic relationship. Is it to make others envy and resent you, to showcase your charm by having a well-off boyfriend dote on you mindlessly?” Ren Shuhan lazily spoke, “But I can tell you, that’s not love, not even liking.”

Song Xici was taken aback and turned his body away from Ren Shuhan.

He knew he had been hit by the truth, but why did Ren Shuhan seem to have the ability to read minds?

In reality, Ren Shuhan was just reminded of Gu Weici from the previous world and used his perspective to give an example.

“Liking someone means not wanting them to suffer even the slightest bit of grievances. Two people in a passionate relationship should strive to give their all in every aspect, afraid of being the one who gives less,” Ren Shuhan explained persuasively, thinking of Qingyue and couldn’t help but smile. “Because you like them, you want to treat them well. If you don’t like them, you keep your distance. Except for lunatics, no one would throw themselves at someone with all their might.”

He had done his best to advise, but Song Xici didn’t listen to a word of it.

His attention was solely focused on the final remark: Did this scumbag mean he wouldn’t enter the crematorium anymore?

“So, with you throwing yourself at me like this, I’m a little afraid,” Ren Shuhan continued, “I’m afraid you’re mentally unstable and would want to harm me if you can’t have me.”

Song Xici: …

F*ck it, after hearing that, I really do want to harm you.

But Song Xici couldn’t make a move right now.

“Oh, by the way,” Ren Shuhan turned to leave, but before he did, he added, “I’ve told you all this based on the fact that we’re strangers. If I find out later that you were the one who wrote that note, we’ll have to settle accounts separately. You understand, right?”

Song Xici was struck at a sore point and sat up abruptly, questioning him: “Why should we? When Song Xiyue spread rumors about me having poor grades, you didn’t say anything. But when that note truthfully described his family background, you…”

“So, you wrote the note?” Ren Shuhan asked coldly.

“No,” Song Xici firmly denied. He didn’t want to become that kind of person, and as long as he denied it, no one would know.

He would forever be the most splendid protagonist in this book.

“Your grades were originally not good, and it was indeed his fault for revealing it. However, the last time you voluntarily agreed to a request of mine, that matter has been settled,” Ren Shuhan said. “And the impact of having poor grades versus the effects of that note are completely different, you clearly know that.”

Unable to refute, Song Xici gritted his teeth and asked, “Then what do you like about him?”

“I like him…” Ren Shuhan chuckled, “He has a gentle personality, looks cute, is smart with good grades, and oh, he’s also good at sports.”

Song Xici: …

S*it! How shallow!

Song Xici was so infuriated that he couldn’t catch his breath and said viciously, “It’s true that I may not be as good as him in sports, but my grades are much better than his. My background is also clean and honorable, unlike his family situation. I refuse to accept this!”

He refused to accept it, but Ren Shuhan accepted it.

It turned out that everything he had said was in vain. Well, why bother?

At that moment, Jiang Qingyue suddenly arrived and, following his principle of firmly grasping his Alpha, tightly held onto Ren Shuhan’s clothes and retorted, “I’ve also been working hard in my studies. My grades will improve in the future.”

Song Xici suddenly thought that since Ren Shuhan wasn’t following the script, he couldn’t win in a fight against him. However, Jiang Qingyue should be no problem. The original work didn’t mention his running ability, only describing his grades as average to above-average, so he should be able to surpass him.

“Do you dare to make another bet with me?” Song Xici challenged. “If you can surpass me in the next joint examination, I will… never bother Ren Shuhan again.”

In reality, this statement hurt Song Xici’s pride. He had done some internal deliberation before saying it.

After all, he only wanted to torment the scumbag, not himself.

“I won’t bet with you,” Jiang Qingyue said nervously. “Regardless of whether I win or lose, he is still my Alpha. You should keep your distance from him.”

Song Xici: ?

Ah, even if he’s a pain and annoying, I do feel bad for Song Xici for getting bitten by Yan Huan… tho I guess he did want to trick Ren Shuhan x_x

Also, thank you Qingyue bby for not falling to his baiting
