C17 – I Gave You A Chance Yet.
“You’re quite cocky. Do you even know where you’re standing?”
The bodyguard was so infuriated that he chuckled. He used his finger to point directly at Loong Chen’s forehead.
“You’ve got the nerve to stir up trouble at Dihao Bar? Do you actually want to meet your end?”
A glint of frostiness flickered in Loong Chen’s gaze.
“Remove your filthy hands this instant and get out of here before you regret it.”
“Did you catch that? He just said I’d regret it. That’s probably the funniest joke I’ve heard in my whole life.”
The bodyguard seemed oblivious to the ice in Loong Chen’s eyes. On the contrary, he burst into boisterous laughter.
The bystanders regarded Loong Chen as though he were a fool.
“This guy must be out of his mind. If he’s seeking trouble, he should at least know where he’s doing it. How can the Dihao Bar be a place for him to stir up a mess?”
“In my view, even if he survives this, he’ll likely end up crippled. I recall the last person who tried to make a scene here at the Dihao Bar, well, they’re not around anymore.”
Many onlookers regarded Loong Chen with sympathy. Naturally, there were a few who seemed to relish his misfortune.
“We were simply looking for a fight. Your timing is impeccable.”
“Who’s this individual? His strength is astonishing, even capable of subduing Dihao Bar’s bodyguards?”
“This person wields incredible power. Those bodyguards are likely incapacitated, aren’t they?”
Onlookers who had anticipated seeing Loong Chen suffer a defeat were left flabbergasted, their jaws nearly unhinged.
Disregarding these observers’ opinions, Loong Chen advanced toward a bodyguard. Seizing the bodyguard by the collar, he took control.
“Tell me where Mo Fann is now.”
In that instant, the bodyguard glared at Loong Chen with anger and spewed his hatred.
“You’re a dead man. You dare lay a hand on us? Master Mo won’t spare you!”
A flicker of unease passed through Loong Chen’s eyes. He turned his right hand, conjuring a black Battle Saber.
A glint of cold steel swept by. In the following heartbeat, a gory gash appeared on the bodyguard’s neck, and his head tumbled down like a rubber ball.
Once more, Loong Chen approached the other bodyguard, the Battle Saber pointed at his throat.
In that moment, his unwavering determination to kill sent shivers down everyone’s spines. The bodyguard hastily spoke up.
“Mo Fann is in the VIP lounge of the bar.”
Loong Chen gave the bodyguard a frosty look. Finally, he retrieved the Tyrannical Saber and strode right into the bar.
Everyone instinctively made way for Loong Chen simultaneously. None wished to offend someone who dispatched lives without hesitation.
