C25 – The Chief’s Shock

“I apologize for damaging your equipment. I’ll take responsibility for the costs,”

Loong Chen stated, his cheeks slightly flushed in embarrassment.

His words jolted everyone back to reality from their astonishment. Yet, all eyes were now fixed on Loong Chen with admiration.

As a Level 3 Evolver, he held a status akin to a City Lord!

People had only heard tales of such formidable individuals, but this was their inaugural encounter with a true expert of this caliber.

“May I inquire about the distinguished organization you’re affiliated with?”

The middle-aged examiner’s tone carried an air of respect. He had relinquished the assumption that Loong Chen hailed from any local Jinling City organization.

This was because a local organization in Jinling City couldn’t possibly foster a prodigy of this caliber. Such a genius could very well only emerge from a global-scale super organization.

“I’m not affiliated with any super organization. I’m here to formalize my identity as an Evolver. Kindly expedite the preparation of my identity card.”

With a firm shake of his head, Loong Chen stated.

Hearing this, the middle-aged examiner’s expression shifted from disbelief to immediate excitement.

At this very moment, the high-ranking members from different sub-leagues present in the room observed their usually composed leader in sheer astonishment.

Had they ever witnessed the leader in such a state of exhilaration?

“It’s true, Master of the Alliance. And not only that, the Evolver in question is just a sixteen-year-old young man. He delivered a punch with a force of 17,500 kilograms!”

Zhang Qibing’s grip on the middle-aged examiner’s hand tightened until it turned a purplish hue. The examiner dared not resist, enduring the pain while conveying the information.

With those words spoken, all the sub-league’s senior members were left flabbergasted. If Loong Chen had merely been a Level 3 Evolver, their excitement might have been more contained.

Yet, the emergence of a sixteen-year-old Level 3 Evolver was enough to jolt them.

The faces of the present senior management displayed skepticism.

“Do you think I’d dare to deceive you? While he only tested his strength, he managed to exert 17,500 kilograms of force. Even if he isn’t a Level 3 Evolver, his strength rivals that of one.”

The middle-aged examiner’s expression bore the utmost sincerity as he conveyed this. Given their extensive experience, all attendees could easily discern his honesty.
