Chapter 74 74: Goblin Slayer/ Beast Tamer - Part 2

Griselda's howl resounded through the cavern like a siren. Stone clashed with scales, axe tore through goblin meat. Zell's teeth grit together, feeling severe pressure from the black goblin's violent impact on his shoulder. His feet sank into the dirt floor, cracking several bones in his body as the dragon form tried to restore them rapidly.

'Fuck!' Zell thought while losing 40 health from one swing.

Zell opened his mouth a moment after the shock; his mouth filled to the brim with a burning crimson fire that burst from his mouth. His mouth propelled a huge gas-like sea of flames at the goblin's face like a flamethrower. Before his axe finally swung away allowed him to gain so space from the counterforce.

Goblin Knight - 300HP

The black goblin, now half charred from the fire breath.

The axe ripped a thick gash through the muscular neck of the black goblin, thick sludge-like blood seeping out. Zell watched the goblin's wrist snap before slapping his mace into Zell's flank, which sent him staggering away with a thud. His feet dragged through the ground, slowing his movement.

Goblin Knight - 230HP

'Griselda, Ravenous bite! His neck where I struck! On my signal!'

Zell didn't take the blow to prove how awesome he was. He watched Griselda sneak around, entering the prime area to strike. The moment her body leapt into the air, Zell activated his Tyrant Aegis, causing both goblins' attention to focus on himself.

The next moment, a tremendous burst of sound filled the area. Two hulking goblins filled with muscle shot towards him, swinging their maces filled with rage. Both stone maces slammed down towards Zell's head as he remained motionless. However, there were no traces of blood or Zell.

'Now! Tear his throat out, Griselda!'

Zell's body fluttered like a mix of shadow and mist behind the enormous black goblin. His shimmering black axe pointed towards the sky as it flung down, cutting the wind like cake toward its spine like a van hitting a child. The blade tore through its backbone, tearing apart the flesh protecting the goblin's spine.

Goblin Knight - 500HP

With a loud roar, the goblin leaned back, ready to spin towards Zell and smash him into pieces. He dragged his thick stone club along the ground, cracked and destroyed the floor like butter. "Filthy lizard!" Woosh, the stone club swung quickly towards Zell as the brown goblin turned, no longer watching.

Griselda's silver body flew like a bird; her thick fangs latched onto the black goblin's neck and ripped to the side, biting a second time even deeper. A black sludge spurted from the goblin's throat, entering her mouth and seeping down its chest and into her clean fur.

Goblin Knight - 80HP

She tugged at his wound each time, causing more damage and increasing the size of the injury. 'Heh, stupid goblin, I thought you freak loved deep throat. So here are my fangs, deep in your throat!' Her mouth snapped shut one last time. A slight crack sounded as the goblin squealed. In anger, his black fist slammed into her stomach, making her yelp and shoot into the distance like a comet. Her soft body slammed into Zell, who appeared like a phantom with pale blue skin, before turning from the mist into his black-scaled armour.

"Good girl, are you alright?" He said to her gently, rubbing her soft stomach better while watching the two goblins look around for him.

"Griselda, I am going to fight them both head-on. I know you can fight well. Please only go for a quick bite next time. My heart would feel heavy if I lost you, even if it's just a game!"

Griselda shuddered from his kind words, not barking as the goblins still looked for them, hidden in the dark corner of the room. 'Ah!?' Zell suddenly slapped her ass and tapped her nose with a light smack. "Be a good girl. You are my noble wolf, so remain noble and follow your master's words!"

'I-I will… Master….'

He placed her down on the spot while stroking her one last time, the little silver tail swaying rapidly in delight. Zell grasped his axe tight before it elongated into its halberd form. A purple flame billowed from the blade's tip as he applied Flurgen to his halberd. Feeling the burst of speed in his body from the haste, he took several steps forward before he vanished from sight.

'Griselda is the best girl. Let's give her a treat when we finish!' Zell thought to himself.

[Yanfra wants belly rubs too…]

Zell charged across the room with his halberd held overhead; with his onslaught, the goblin duo finally detected him. However, a long pole swung down, slashing the face of the black goblin and splitting his nose in half, before Zell's body spun to the right, twisting the halberd. Hence, the blade turned on its side, sliced through the black goblin's cheeks, and cleaved the brown goblin's eyes, popping them both.

Goblin Knight - 460HP

Goblin Elite - 550HP

Griselda didn't wait for her master's words. Lightning filled her body with a loud crackle before the wolf dashed towards the stumbling brown goblin and slammed her body into him. An arcing lighting surge shot out from her body, shocking both goblins with more than a hundred damage each.

Both - 100HP

This wolf's power was close to Zell's as her muscles tensed. However, this wolf didn't stop. Her long snout lifted into the air as she slammed the brown goblin's chest into the ground with a loud thud. She pushed her face down and devoured the screaming goblins' eyes, ripping and tearing them from their sockets as thick, black blood filled her mouth like jelly.

"Y-you…. bitch…. How dare you...!" screamed the black goblin that recovered from the shock. His lips and cheeks flapped extra because of the damage dealt by Zell's Halberd, with suddenly pierced into the chest of the black goblin, followed by his husky voice. "She's my bitch, not yours. Clean your mouth out, you dirty goblin."

Zell lifted his left leg while his halberd pierced deep into the chest of the black goblin. A mighty flame formed around his hand before he flicked it towards the goblin. Who flew over 5 metres away as he rapidly shot a ball of intense flames that smashed into the goblin's ass. Then exploded into a massive blaze and slammed him into the distant wall.
