The Flower Martial King had watched the Void Sword Saint die. She knew about Long Chen’s final Heaven Sword Array and wanted to warn the Void Sword Saint, but she was too late. By the time she had that thought, he was already an ice sculpture.

“He’s dead?” The Flower Martial King was shocked by Long Chen. It was unheard of for someone weaker and younger to do something like this. She looked at him as if he was a monster.

“Monster. He’s a monster.” The Flower Martial King was shocked and afraid. She had been indulging in her desires just now, but her body trembled with fear after learning that the Void Sword Saint was dead.

“Die.” Due to her momentary distraction, Lan Ling’er’s punch landed on the Flower Martial King’s shoulder. She cried out in pain and was blown back by the impact.

She rolled over on the ground and got covered in dirt. She looked absolutely disheveled, but she didn’t dare to stop. She quickly stood up and was about to run when a white blade stabbed her back and came out of her chest.

Life quickly left her body.

Jian Chen took out his sword and turned her body around. Her chest was a pool of red.

Her largest source of pride now had a hole.

She took one last look at Jian Chen before slumping to the ground.

“Bitch. You deserved to die like one.” Lan Ling’er stomped her enemy’s body a few times before feeling better. She then looked at Jian Chen. “Third brother, I know you are upset, but at least we’ve completed our revenge and we are alive.”

Jian Chen nodded. “Ling’er, no need to console me. I’ve lived for a long time and I’m used to it. The dead have departed, and the only thing I could do for them was take revenge since I share the same blood as them. Now it's time for them to rest.”

Lan Ling’er nodded, but she didn’t really understand what he meant.

But Long Chen understood. It seemed a lot of people around Jian Chen had died, or maybe the people he cared for had died. That was why he had left the Martial Alliance and joined Long Yue.

With the Void Sword Saint dead, no one here could threaten.

But the Flower Martial King’s belongings were still there. Lan Ling’er opened her Universe Pouch, and what she found made her blush. She took ten royal crystals before throwing the entire Universe Pouch away.

“What a whore. To think she carried so many things,” Lan Ling’er said.

Long Chen didn’t look, but he could guess what was in there. With her behavior, it would be weird if she didn’t have at least one in her Universe Pouch.

“Not bad, you did an excellent job. These are for you.” Lan Ling’er passed the royal crystals to him. Long Chen was stunned, but he didn’t refuse them.

royal crystals were important for those at the Martial Realm, and Long Chen only had one.

“Let’s find somewhere peaceful.” Jian Chen called for his Golden Lightning Stallion. Long Chen and Lan Ling’er followed him. Even though he looked calm, his heart was most likely suffering.

They wanted to find a peaceful place.

That was what Long Chen had thought as well when he wanted to bury Long Qinglan.

“You have a point.”

They then walked past Long Chen.

Long Chen almost burst out laughing when he heard them talking. First, he found Long Yue’s title funny. She must’ve acted so cold that she scared the others away.

The second funny thing was what they had said about Lan Ling’er. They were disgusted at the prospect of her being a guy, and now she was disguised like one ...

“What are you laughing at? I will tear off your mouth! I’m a man, so what? Are you laughing at me, little miss?” Lan Ling’er glared at Long Chen.

Long Chen then realized that the disguise she had set up for him made him look like a woman. It was probably a joke of hers.

“What a rascal.” He wiped the makeup off.

“You look like a tabby cat, hahaha!” Lan Ling’er laughed when she saw Long Chen’s face.

Long Chen wanted to smack her. He quickly ran towards a spring and washed his face off. Thanks to them fooling around, Jian Chen’s mood appeared to have improved.

“You are famous now. Long Yue probably knows about what happened to you.” Lan Ling’er chuckled once Long Chen was done.

“That’s good. We won’t have to explain why we are late.”

Cloud Heaven City was just in front of them.

Before they got close, a voice called for them. “Third Brother, over here.”

They turned around and saw that it was Chi Ying. His informants had most likely spotted them, so he had come over to take them directly to Long Yue. On the way, Chi Ying stared at Long Chen like an oddity. He then raised his thumbs in approval. “Seventh Brother, I heard that you killed the Void Sword Saint.”

“Third Brother took his attention and held him down while I attacked. I fear I wouldn’t have been able to land a single attack without his help.”

“Even so, that’s an incredible feat. I wouldn’t be able to do the same.” Chi Ying smiled, revealing his white teeth.

He brought the three of them into a cave on a mountainside. Lei Zhen was standing guard outside and there was a gazebo inside. Jiang Wuya and Long Yue were playing chess there. Long Yue stood up when she saw Long Chen.

But Jiang Wuya stopped her. “Don’t run away. You are losing.”

Long Yue rolled her eyes and slammed the table. The chess pieces turned to dust.

Jiang Wuya could do nothing but smile bitterly.

Despite how strong she was, there was still a childish side to her.

Long Chen now became the center of attention, and even Long Yue realized that she had underestimated him ...
