Long Chen had seen the Demon clan leader, Bai Lan, and the Thunder clan leader, Lei Ji, on the gigantic star plate, though it was from far away. Neither of them had even looked his way. Long Chen followed Suxue and Suyan into the sophisticated hall, then went up to the Demon clan leader.

Bai Lan probably did not know that Suyan had gone missing yet, since she had only been out for a day and only a few people had gone out to search for her. Bai Lan and Lei Ji were sitting on wooden easy chairs and sharing a pot of tea. They were enjoying themselves and chatting about various topics.

Bai Lan was not young anymore, but his cultivation progressed quickly when he was very young, so he didn’t exactly seem like a Heavenly Martial Realm master. He looked like he was just the two sisters’ older brother. Based on looks, no one would think that Bai Lan was their father.

He studied them out of the corner of his eye and noticed an energy similar to the Seven Star Lord’s energy on them. Both Bai Lan and Lei Ji had it, but Lei Ji’s energy was weaker. He probably hadn’t been at the Heavenly Martial Realm for long, so he had not completely comprehended it yet.

It looks like the Demon clan leader is a true Heavenly Martial Realm master. It is no wonder both Wu Guangyu and Suxue are already at the Ninth Earthly Martial Stage; the other clan leaders are surely above the Ninth Earthly Martial Stage too.

“My darling daughters, I see that both of you have come to see me. What’s the matter?” Bai Lan asked with a chuckle. He ignored Long Chen for the moment but looked at his daughters smilingly.

Suxue looked anxious and had always been more direct, so she said, “Father, Yan’er ran out this morning. She was attacked, then severely injured and almost died. Thankfully, she was rescued, but the problem isn’t completely solved yet. I’ll let Yan’er tell you the whole thing. Yan’er, tell Father everything that happened!”

“Yes, Father.” Suyan looked at him lovingly and walked up to him obediently. He inspected her up and down while Lei Ji watched next to him. Both of their expressions grew more and more solemn until finally, both of them bit their lips gently with shock in their eyes.

Bai Lan looked at Long Chen solemnly. “Long Chen, are you really sure that you can heal my daughter completely in a hundred days?”

Long Chen nodded confidently and said, “Suyan’s body aged very rapidly before, but I helped her return to her current state. My pills are too strong to be taken at once, which is why she needs to consume one every ten days. After a hundred days, her bizarre condition will naturally recover.”

Bai Lan and Lei Ji looked at each other without expression. Long Chen did not know what they were thinking.

Suxue grew more furious when he called her mean. She was about to rage when Bai Lan waved to stop her. He said to Long Chen, “Since Yan’er trusts you, then I will trust you too. Bai Lan’s attitude was much better than Suxue's.
