Chapter 69 - The Auction's Conclusion!!

The item was brought to the stage by a woman dressed in blue robes. The item was in a blue and gold box, it was the side of an average human palm. Kayn wondered what the last item was, if it was the last item of the Auction then it must be good. The woman sat the box on the Auction table and walked off the stage in a hurry. Wolfgang spoke the minute the woman was off the stage.

"This is the last item of our Auction, this item was found on some planet a while back. We sense a strange power coming from it but we can't understand it no matter what, so we just decided to sell it here at the Auction." Wolfgang sighed and said

Wolfgang once again brought a screen up that showed the item that was for sale. "This is this image of the item, you can see it from all sides and angles." The item was finally revealed, it was a sort of necklace. Kayn looked closely at the necklace, it looked really similar to the Eye of Agamotto from doctor strange!

Everyone stood up when they saw the item! This was about to become a bidding war in here, Kayn was still confused about the item and decided not to buy it, that's until.

The system sounded serious when it spoke, Kayn was startled when he heard the system serious voice. He then took another looked at the item, he will just have to buy it, the item looked really cool anyway.

The top clans in their V.I.P booths had determined expression on, Kayn could see some of their determined expression and knew that a bidding war was on the horizon. "I am getting a serious vibe from the necklace, my eyes only see question marks when I appraise it." Ariel stared at the item, she was trying to evaluate it but couldn't.

"Hehe, I will be sure to get this necklace, no one else will be able to get their hand on it." Kayn was confident that this necklace was his, he had many coins on board and knew no one could outbid him.

"This necklace, I must have it!" The crow clansmen said loudly, this item was something that seemed familiar to them! This was the same for every other clan, they wanted this item just as much as the crow clan.

"Now that everyone has seen the item, it is time for the bidding to start." Everyone who wanted to bid stood up and walked closer, they wanted to make sure that their voices were heard when they spoke. Most of the clans looked towards Athena's booth, they won any bid once they started bidding, so they were worried about this group.

The clans all stared at Athena's booth coldly, they technically signal them to stay quiet or else. They wouldn't hesitate to team up against them and snatch the item for themselves. "Hmph, this item, Kayn make sure you buy it, I don't like these guys' attitudes!" Athena was very dissatisfied with the

blatant threat these people were giving.

"No worries, Like I said, this item will be mine no matter what!" Kayn grinned and said. Athena smiled and said nothing more, she was assured that he would get this item.

"The starting price for this item, it's quite high, but it's worth it." Wolfgang scanned everyone to check their expression and continued. "The Staring price will be 5000 Platinum coins!" Wolfgang said with a booming voice.

"F.u.c.k, I am too poor to afford that!" One man was so sad that he wanted to die, he was just too broke!

"Yup, I can't forget about this item, what was I thinking anyway, believing I could get it!" Every normal person was sad, but this was life, what could you do? For the clans, this was no problem, so they started their bidding.

"6,000 Platinum coins!" Crow clan spoke first

"7,000 Platinum coins!"

"8,000 Platinum coins!"

"9,000 Platinum coins!"

"9,500 Platinum coins!" Many people from different clan began to bid fiercely, this price was rising at crazy levels.

"10 Purple Platinum coins!" The Heavenly bear clansmen yelled out, this price was insane if everyone had to say so themselves. They really felt like joining one of these powers when they left here to gain a better lifestyle.

"Haha, the bear clan even wants this item, too bad! 20 PP Coins!" The Golden lion clan ridicule and raised the price. The bear was very displeased with this arrogant lion clan but didn't waste their time arguing.

"50 PP coins!" The bidding continued for about 20 minutes when some clans that were not in a V.I.P booth started to get quiet. Apparently, their budget had been surpass and they didn't want to spend anymore then what the current price was at.

"5000 PP Coins!" The crow clansmen's eyes were bloodshot, they were bleeding inside due to the high price. Kayn sat quiely until everyone was pushed to their limit, he didn't want to waste his breath until the last minute.

"5500 PP Coins!" The lion clansmen said loudly but weakly at the same time.

"Lion clan and dragon clan, give me some face and let me have this item, what do you say?" The crow clans young master said.

"We would love to give it to you, but this item is too important to skip out on, we must have it!" The dragon's clansmen elder didn't even let the young master speak and spoke on his behalf. This item was something else and they didn't want to give it up to anyone.

The lion clansmen didn't respond, it was clear what their answer was, and that was "no can do", we want this item as well! The crow clansmen were angry but didn't say anything, the one with the most money would win it.

"20,000 PP Coins!" A calm and nonchalant voice suddenly resound the air. Everyone was completely speechless! 20,000 Purple Platinum coins! Who the hell could be so rich!? The crow clansmen were so close to coughing up blood when they heard the price raise to such astronomical level!

"Who the hell would raise it so high!?" The crow clansmen and everyone in the Auction looked toward the Athena's booth which showed the banner of the Heavenly Pheonix clan. Kayn was nonchalantly being fed gr.a.p.es by some servant that was sent to his booth, it was a V.I.P room, so they had special privileges, he could even do "that" to her if he wanted to.

"Little bodyguard, you've offended way too many people here today. If you drop out of this Auction and hand over the necklace, you'll have a chance of survival!" The crow clansmen young master threatened Kayn with rage-filled eyes.

"Like I said before, if you can't afford it, then take you broke ass home!" Kayn's eyes flashed with contempt and continued. "How about you set up a charity since you're so poor, it looks like your clan is barely getting by, hahaha!" Kayn laughed at his owned jokes, he couldn't take it anymore, it was too funny. The people in the auditorium also broke out into wild laughter, they couldn't hold it in anymore, this guy's mouth was just too poisonous!

The crow clansmen young master was so made that he began to power a ki blast that was aimed at Kayn's booth! "Die, you toxic f.u.c.k!" The blast was shot out, it was dark purple. Everyone stopped laughing and moved away quickly, this attack was quite dangerous!

"Haha, with this little ability you want to kill me? Get out!" Kayn jumped out the booth with gr.a.p.es in his mouth and blocked the attack his finger, the attack was completely nullified into nothingness. Everyone's mouths were wide open in shock, he had just completely cancelled the young master's attack! The man behind the Lion clansmen was watching closely, he could now roughly see Kayn power level and was slightly stunned. However, he soon sneered in his heart, his power was just so-so!

Kayn looked at the crow clansmen coldly and was about to make his move on him, until. "Please, Mr. bodyguard, could you please not fight back, it is clear that they can't buy it, so it's yours." The man who spoke was Wolfgang.

Kayn looked towards Wolfgang and decided to stop, he would deal with these people sooner or later. It will be at least before he leaves this universe, Kayn honestly wanted to head to Amazonia but found that it would be trouble to stay in this universe for too long. He just wanted to complete his missions and be on his way, he might find the snow elves and that's about it.

Kayn sat back down and the crow clansmen all got up to leave. This was the same for all the other clans, they knew something big was about to happen after this Auction and that this bodyguard wasn't going to be let off.

"Haha, we'll see how long you can survive, little bodyguard!" The lion clansmen laughed as they also retreated. The was also the same for the dragon clan, they couldn't wait to rob Kayn of all his items! The turtle clan young master was the happiest, he would get to see Kayn dead after being humiliated some time ago.

Kayn paid the coins and was handed the necklace, he couldn't figure out what the necklace would do for him so he just put it into his storage for a later date. "This marks the end of our annual Auction, joins us in 3 years for another Auction!" Wolfgang spoke and left the stage in a hurry.

"Kayn, I got a bad feeling about something and I don't know what it is." Athena felt like something wasn't right.

"Haha, things are about get bad.. for them that is!" Kayn put his hand on Athena and Ariel's shoulders, he then inserted some sort of Ki into their bodies, this was for protection for what he was about to do later.

"What did you do?" They asked in unison

"You'll understand later but right now is not the time for that, let's go home." Athena and Ariel nodded, Ariel was going to spend some time at Athena's Palace before going home. Once they opened the door both Kara and Wolfgang were standing outside waiting.

"Princess, Bodyguard, and Ariel. I've come to warn you that those clan members, they are going to make their move on you guys." Wolfgang didn't like the attitude of those sore losers who liked to threathen people with their power and came to warn them.

"They dare to attack us in broad daylight!" Athena was stunned, were they serious?

"It is likely so, we'll have to be careful." Ariel said as she rubbed her chin. Kayn could help but wonder what she was trying to rub, there was no hair there!

"Thank you for the warning, sir. Athena, Ariel and Karrot, you guys stay here until I check things out!" Kayn said and walked off

"My name is Kara! Not Karrot!" Kara hollered at Kayn but he never turned back. "Asshole!" Kara stomped her foot in anger.

Meanwhile. the clans gathered outside and were waiting. "Hmph, we'll see how he survives this!" Erica was angry, every time she thought of Kayn lecherous facial expressions, she wanted to just rip his mouth and eyes out!

"He won't survive this bout, since we, the Golden lion clan have declared war on the Pheonix clan, we should kidnap the princess as a war trophy, haha!" Arthur started to drool thinking about that boundless chest of Athena's, and giggly buttock, he would play that ass all day! Erica, seeing his intoxicated expression, caused her face to change into one of disgust, she hated lechers the most!

"Don't worry, he will die here today!" The mysterious man that was backing the golden lion clan spoke firmly, the crow clan had the same thoughts as they watched the entrance coldly. They couldn't wait to explode Kayn and steal all his items.

At that moment, a figure came walking out of the door, it could be no one else but Kayn. "Oh, I see that everyone has gathered together! This will make everything much easier, hehe!" Kayn grinned and said.

"If you hand over everything you have, we'll leave you with an intact corpse!" The dragon clan young master was jeering as he spoke.

Kayn ignore him and said. "Since there are so many of you, I'll have to get serious right off the bat!" Soon, Kayn began to power up as an orange energy began to circulate around his body.
