Chapter 6013: Of Course I dare

Sky-step King’s statue emitted feeble rays of light forming a circle around Li Qiye’s group. No monsters dared to come in or attack them.

In other words, when the statue opened its eye, it woke up the slumbering monsters on top of creating a safe haven.

Not to mention regular members of Splendor Terra, Goldvase Angel and the manager were astounded. This place seemed so different from what they knew.

The manager had been here since birth but knew nothing about these slumbering unknown creatures. His ignorance was one thing, but what about Unrivalled Monarch and Splendor Monarch?

As for the statue, Splendor Monarch excavated it from an unknown location and they have been treating it as decoration. Now, it became abundantly clear they knew nothing about it.

“Get in!” Ironthorn and the others realized the power of the light and rushed for it.

“Unfortunately, there is no place for any of you.” Li Qiye shook his head and smiled.

“Bam! Bam! Bam!” Sure enough, the unknown barrier rejected them.

“Ahh!” Monsters began picking them off again.

The strongest ones were furious because escaping the darkness was impossible.

“Go!” Ironthorn and Ghost-eyed went all out and still couldn’t break the barrier. They were out of options and seemed to be waiting for death.

The clan master’s ten fruits became resplendent in response but the tiger easily crushed them. It opened its mouth, revealing the eight flesh petals again.

“Nooo!” The clan master bellowed, aware of his fate.

“Crunch!” The tiger swallowed and devoured him, flesh and bones.

Everyone else stared at the tiger in horror. If it could devour a ten-fruit desolate god that quickly, they were just as feeble.

“Boom!” Outside the barrier, Ironthorn’s sword broke after another slash on the ball monster.

The latter released thorns that pierced his body, heart included.

“Ahh!” He bellowed in agony and met his demise to the unknown assailant.

“Nooo!” Meanwhile, Innumerable also screamed. He had used his strongest merit law, garnering the power of his eyes and hands to form a single spear. Unfortunately, it crumbled before the tentacles of the unknown creature and he was captured. It tossed him into its jaws and chewed him to pieces.

The next to fall was Ghost-eyed Desolate God; his third eye was pierced by a saber. It erupted devastatingly as a last-ditch effort but this was useless. The saber started from his head and sliced him into two pieces.

The screams eventually stopped and not a single survivor could be found. The stench of blood permeated the air.

Li Qiye kept his word after giving them so many chances - no one was leaving this place alive.
