Chapter 6091: Heavenly Tribulation’s Arrival
Everyone watched with bated breath. Weaker cultivators didn’t dare to breathe loudly since it was Enigma Dynasty’s internal affairs. A reckless comment could herald death and destruction.
The strongest emperors hoped those two would fight since that would be most advantageous for them.
“I will carefully consider.” Dragonform nodded and restrained his fury.
“Good.” Disaster bowed at Li Qiye from a distance before leaving decisively.
“That’s it?” Others exchanged glances.
“And here I thought they would fight.” A powerful cultivator whispered.
Ouyang Dragon God snorted and was particularly vexed. He tried his best to stay calm and not be overwhelmed with helplessness due to being weaker. The injury was one thing but Disaster’s disdainful attitude publicly humiliated him.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t bark back against Disaster and Enigma because his brother wouldn’t be able to protect him in that case.
Li Qiye paid no mind to the conflict between Disaster and Dragonform; his eyes were fixated on the ascending lightning bolts. They seemed to be alive and gazed at Li Qiye like sentient beings.
“Is there anyone else in Three Immortals who can do this?” Golden Flower watched in astonishment.
“Maybe Lord of Calamities who can control the tribulation, but not harmonious like this.” Witch King added.
“I see, the greatest mortal indeed.” A big shot had nothing but admiration.
“What kind of method or ability is this? Primal ancestors can’t make tribulation lightning dance in their hand.” An ancestor remarked.
“Rumble!” All eyes were on Li Qiye and suddenly, the peaks started shaking.
“Boom!” An endless torrent of lightning surged out of the abyssal well like an erupting volcano.
The sky above the plain became filled with lightning bolts.
“The tribulation is here!” The crowd shouted.
The bolts spread in all directions and something wondrous occurred - the peaks beneath them absorbed the lightning bolts and channeled them back into the well.
Virtually everyone standing on the peak was left unharmed. Only a few unlucky ones who stood too close to the edge were turned to ashes after screaming once.
