That day, the teachers told Xiong Jingfei and Feng Huan to leave and rest for the day. They weren't in a condition to learn, but it was more directed towards Xiong Jingfei. She didn't respond to them or acknowledge they were talking to her.
"I'll make sure to take her home safe." Feng Huan assured them. He didn't want to spend another second with these teachers.
On the ride to Xiong Jingfei's house, they did not talk to each other. Even when Feng Huan's driver stopped at her front gate. She didn't show any reaction but kept staring out the window.
"Let me take you to the hospital, okay?" Feng Huan was seriously concerned for the talkless Xiong Jingfei. He rubbed her hands to keep them warm, "Hey, let's go get you changed, and I'll take you, okay?"
"No," Xiong Jingfei replied, waking up from her trance and removed her hands Feng Huan's touch. Then she smiled, "Thank you for taking me back."
Feng Huan narrowed his eyes, it was a normal smile… Like what she did with Xu Suying's blood did not happen. The other students may not have seen it, but he did. He cleaned her hand from the blood, but she dipped them back into the pool of blood. Searching for something that was not there.
Just as she was about to open the door. Feng Huan held onto the door handle and wouldn't let her leave, yet. Something she said at the stairway was bothering him, so he came right out and asked her, "Who is Songsong?"
Xiong Jingfei frowned, "Who?"
Feng Huan furrowed his brows. She really seemed like she has no idea who this "Songsong" is. As if she never even heard of that name ever in her entire life. Also, she was easy to read if she was lying or not. Right now, he couldn't tell if she was.
"You were the person who said that name," Feng Huan slowly approached the topic, in case it might bring Xiong Jingfei's back into a state of shock. "At the stairwell, where Xu Suying fell and hit her head."
She gave him a funny smile and c.o.c.ked her head, "You probably heard me wrong? Susu does sound a bit like Songsong."
She got out of the car and thanked him one more time. He watched her open the doors and got inside. However, his heart took a tiny leap at what he saw. There were two bloody handprints faintly showing at the back of her uniform.
"What the-"
"Is something the matter, young master?" Feng Huan's chauffeur asked, looking at Feng Huan through the mirror.
"No." Feng Huan ignored what he saw. Now, he sees it? He would have seen it when he was with her earlier. "Take me home."

When Xiong Jingfei arrived at the hospital later that day. Xu Suying was surprisingly up and talking like always. Being the same old Xu Suying and was bickering with her older brother.
"Susu?" Xiong Jingfei smiled, what a relief! She ran and squeezed Xu Suying tightly.
"O-ouch!" Xu Suying winced, "Someone forgot that I'm the patient here."
Xiong Jingfei let go a bit but still held onto Xu Suying with her arms wrapped around her. She began to burst out the tears she held in, "You scared the shit out of me! F.u.c.k. Don't ever f.u.c.ken do that ever again!"
This side of Xiong Jingfei shocked the living daylight out of Xu Suying's older brother, Xu Cheng. The Xiong Jingfei he knew was always prim and proper. She never spoke too fast nor too slow. It was just right for the ears. It was his first time hearing swear words coming out of Xiong Jingfei's mouth, and so many times at once.
Xu Cheng was beginning to believe his little sister's story of Xiong Jingfei's mischief. He couldn't picture her that way, but he was starting to see a bit of it.
Xu Suying took a glance at her brother's shocked expression, she sighed. Xiong Jingfei completely forgot it wasn't just the two of them. Her image of a lady crumbled in front of her older brother, just like that.
An image Xiong Jingfei was forced to keep up by her father. A delicate and weak lady.
"My my, did I scare you this badly?" Xu Suying caressed Xiong Jingfei's head like she was a child. Then she leaned in and whispered, "You forgot your lady image."
Ding!
Xiong Jingfei woke up from her memory lane again thanks to Xu Suying incoming messages.
Xu Suying: [So, did you want to join us?]
Xiong Jingfei: [I will let you know when the time comes.]
Overall, Xu Suying explained that what happened was no "accident." Someone pushed her from behind. To put it in more detail, something carried her by the arms and pushed her down those steps. Xu Suying swore on her life that it wasn't a person!
Xu Suying's parents did not believe that was the case, so they watched the recording of that day. The school had cameras in the hallway for security purposes. It was a school filled with well off family kids, so they didn't want anything to happen... Especially to those whose parents held power in Sinwang City.
However, no matter how much Xu Suying's parents reviewed the recording. It really looked like someone carried their daughter off her feet and threw her down the steps. Shocking a few of the teachers watching the recording with them.
Xu Suying's parents ended up paying the school to shut their mouths on this incident. It worked because it was never spoken of again. Any of the students who even dare mention that day will get scolded and punished by the teachers.
And this is how Xu Suying's parents came to believe that their daughter actually sees things others can't. Feel things others can't touch. They sought for help, and they received the help they needed to keep their daughter safe for a lifetime.
What they didn't know was that this was predestined. Meant for that one person to show themselves when the time came.
