"How do you all feel?" Cedric asked his wives after they woke up.
His wife had fallen into slumber for an entire week and had only woke up today. Surprisingly, the babies fell into slumber with them, which made Cedric a bit nervous at first, but seeing that his sons weren't showing signs of discomfort or pain, he could only wait until they naturally wake up. They woke up at the same time as their mothers.
"Great. It's like all the stress, which I never even knew I had disappeared," Erica replied while breastfeeding Godwyn, who's absolutely voracious right now.
His other waves shared the same sentiment and also breastfeeding their child.
Light flashed in Cedric's eyes as he performed another deep scan of their bodies. But aside from their really active energy flow, he didn't see any harm done to them. If anything, they have been deeply blessed by the evolution of the world.
Cedric already knows that nothing's wrong with them, but he still couldn't help but be worried. However, since his wives themselves told him that they were fine, he could finally rest easy.
The rest of the world had already resumed at this point and had seen the aftermath of Prime Earth's evolution.
First and foremost, Prime Earth grew in size. It expanded about five times compared to its previous size. The land got bigger and the ocean went deeper. The density and quality of primordial energies around me skyrocketed as well.
Prime Earth transitioned from a Tiny World to a Mid-Tier Planet. This meant that it's possible for more planetary-level life evolvers to appear here.
With the blessings humans received after the evolution, their talents and overall life expectancy increased. Humans are less likely to get ill from mortal sickness—not completely impossible, just less likely, though it is better than nothing. Their overall longevity also increased. Before, mortals could only live up to 150 years at maximum, but now that extends to 200 years old.
This blessing also comes with an increased talent base for everybody. The new lowest talent grade after Prime Earth's evolution was at least two talent grades above the previous scale. Meaning that more humans can become superhumans and life evolvers in the future. If Prime Earth continuously evolves, there will come a time where everybody will have the potential to become Superhumans.
As the solar system's governor, Cedric can either allow others to visit their world and form relations with his people. He could also declare allies and enemies; he could even wage war with others if need be.
But since he knows that his people are far from being ready to showcase their talents, Cedric opted to declare humans as a reclusive race. Upon this declaration, missionaries of other races aren't allowed inside humanity's territory. They must leave them alone unless humanity itself initiates contact with them first.
This was a legal action under the council laws, and there are many races out there who benefit from this law.
Unfortunately, there is a time limit for this...
A race can only declare a reclusive stance for a total of 10,000 years. It could be spent in a single go or staggered, but that's the limit. The council won't allow strangers into their circle, so at some point, humanity must come out of their shell and socialize.
That's fine, Cedric. 10,000 years was an absurdly long time for creatures like him, and with how progressive they were as a race, this was more than enough for humans to catch up and gain a proper foothold within the Outer Circle.
Of course, even though humans will be a reclusive race, they are still required to perform merits for the alliance. But the expectations from them wouldn't be so great due to their stance. Actually, the mere fact that Cedric was already training as a security officer was more than enough to make up for any meritorious service requirements needed for the entire race, so this wasn't even a problem.
Once Cedric changed the status of his people to this, the effect was immediate. The constant string of requests finally stopped. All of the requests were politely declined, and peace returned to his system interface.
Now, he no longer has to worry about any potential trouble for his world and people. Without his explicit permission, nobody else is allowed to come anywhere near his territory. Not only was Solaris Prime now protected by an invisible dome that prevents others from spying on them, but thanks to the effect of the laws that protect the privacy of the reclusive races, there are also security officers who would be patrolling the outside perimeter from time to time just to make sure that nobody was daring to do something illegal.
The best part is that Cedric doesn't even need to pay those people since this task was well within their responsibilities. And a future security officer himself; these seniors of his will be a little more friendly towards him. This was a tiny advantage and preferential treatment that is well within the tolerance of the council laws.
It's due to all of this that Cedric wasn't afraid about this transfer. With the consideration of the alliance towards its members, he could confidently allow his people to develop freely within the safety of the alliance without worrying too much about their well-being.
Of course, he knew that one day the time will come when humans will be ready to receive guests. In the future, he can let them out to seek opportunities for themselves; by then, it wouldn't be too long before he could pass on the position of governor to someone else so that he can be freed from these responsibilities.
Until then, Cedric will hold down the fort for them. Because, admittedly, humanity is too young to compete with other races.
