As he saw the panel that appeared in front of him, he had a smile on his face. 'I knew a quest would be generated.' He thought.
"Then, let the show begin," Callius whispered to himself, his resolve unwavering. He had already consumed a potent high-tier mana potion, replenishing his magical reserves to their fullest capacity. The surge of energy coursed through his veins, lending him renewed strength as if the training he had done using his magic had never happened.
That was thanks to the potion being a high tier, but that was not the topic at that point.
'They had already blocked the surveillance wards. I guess that woman couldn't hold her greed.' He thought to himself as he sensed the warding magic around him disappear. Even though his thoughts were not completely true in a way, nobody could blame him either.
'Now it is up to you, Aliya. I will trust your skills.' As his thoughts wandered for a second to her partner, he immediately started getting ready for the confrontation. 'It is also the time that these stupid rumors end. I don't want to waste any more time with this drama.'
Just as he thought that, he had a smile on his face as he knew the enemy had made the moves that he had predicted.
Instantly grabbing a sphere that looked ominous from his spatial ring, he activated his [All-Seeing Eye], improving his eye with unparalleled insight.
'As expected, it's charged with my mana,' he acknowledged inwardly, satisfied with the preparations made. 'I really wonder what your expression will be when you see that you were dancing on my palm for a while.' His mouth curled upwards.
'Then, the stage is set.'
As he instantly activated his aura while enveloping himself with lightning mana, using the same technique he had used quite a lot of times.
/CRACKLE/
Disappearing from the place he was in….
********
"We are entering." A young man spoke as he looked into the corridor that was dimly lighted. A corridor that would normally be filled with brightness was now dark, thanks to the magic they were using. His face was blurry as the details could not be distinguished. "Brothers…. It is time to avenge our holy sister." He mumbled as he made a praying gesture.
/NOD/
As the group of four behind him nodded in response while making the same praying gesture, he grabbed the handle of the door that was locked. His hands that were grabbing the handle started radiating a shiny light as the particles entered the handle, making their way to the mechanism inside.
/FUSH/
As the smoke was raised from the handle, the doorknob melted thanks to the heat spreading.
/TOK/
And soon, the door opened, revealing a devastating scene of confrontation inside. The smoke was being raised as the signs of something getting burned could be seen all around.
And in the midst of that, a young man stood as he was looking at the entrance.
"It is him." Immediately voicing his thought, the man whose face couldn't be seen looking at the young man. 'Just as she said, he had been training non-stop.' He thought as he looked into him.
"Who are you?" A cold and dignified voice echoed inside the room as the young man with crimson eyes looked into the intruders.
"Heh…" As a response, a cold laugh came from the mouth of the leading intruder.
"What is so funny?" Callius asked, his voice laced with a hint of curiosity and caution as he faced the intruders, his crimson eyes piercing through the darkness. He was already reading his magic as the fire mana was gathered on his hands slightly.
The leader of the group, with his face, still obscured, chuckled darkly before responding. "It is funny that a heathen like you still stands on the same grounds as we are. It is funny that you are still walking freely. Do you understand?"
Hearing this, Callius' eyes narrowed as his expression hardened. "You and your dogmatical views." He mumbled as he looked into the intruders. "The holy sister you are talking about, do you know her?" He asked as his gaze was filled with anger. "Do you truly believe I would harbor any untoward desires for a supposed holy sister who materialized out of thin air? A person who doesn't even exist?" He asked with his questions raised as his eyes were filled with seriousness.
The leader's face contorted with rage, his features contending with the fury that coursed through him. "Do you think we would succumb to your treacherous schemes, you HEATHEN!" he bellowed, his voice vibrating with anger. The intensity of his words matched the growing power of his magic, its energy crackling around him. The air became heavy with his building aura, an intimidating display of his righteous indignation.
"Did you employ these deceitful words to ensnare our HOLY SISTER? To trap her and inflict harm upon her!" The leader's accusations echoed through the room, his voice laced with fury. The boundaries of his control began to slip, his overflowing magic manifesting as a threatening aura. It pulsed with raw, primal energy, showcasing the depth of his rage and his unwavering loyalty to his beliefs.
Hearing this, Callius' eyes once again regained their tranquility as he looked into the leader that was speaking. "Your beliefs are firmly rooted, and it seems futile to try and change them. You are brainwashed, being held by your so-called beliefs." His calm voice echoed in the room as he looked like he would no longer argue.
"It is always better than being a heathen like you!"
The leader's words hung in the air for a fleeting moment before he launched himself towards the young boy with relentless speed, his intent clear. Like a coiled serpent striking its prey, he closed the distance between them in an instant. Sensing the impending danger, the other four assailants positioned themselves strategically, ready to join the fray with synchronized precision.
