'It is finally the time.' Diana thought to herself excitedly. 'My efforts are paying off.'
She had been trying her best to put herself in front of Callius' eyes in the academy, occasionally putting herself inside positions where he would be coming too close to her or many others....
But, she had seen no progress at all. Nothing. His face never changed; he never looked at him differently from before. It was always the same look.
She could see he treasured her, but what she wanted was different.
'I want him to look only at me, no one else. Even himself. Only me, me and me.'
And, first and foremost, she was sure of something. There were a lot of vixens out there aiming for him.
'Brother, you can't look for someone else other than me.'
Because of this reason, when she saw the opportunity, she immediately jumped in.
'I even used that spell.....I really didn't want to do it, but I couldn't defeat him otherwise.'
It was slightly sad that she couldn't defeat him without using that spell, but it was not something that much of a secret anyway. Since it was the signature spell of that woman, it was something that was known to the world, and so it was something people could infer.
Though her mastering that at such a young age was going to attract attention for sure, it didn't matter to her.
After all, she was just going to crush those who came for her with her strength.
However, now was not the time for those thoughts. For the whole weekend, she was going to have her brother, so it was time to plan things, which she did.
And now here she was, knocking on her brother's door.
KNOCK
"Brother, it is time." She spoke with a tone that didn't give her intentions. Even though she knew he knew about her feelings, her pride didn't allow her to look too excited before him.
"Okay." A simple and apathetic voice echoed. In the end, pride was something both of them had overly.
She could feel him approaching as her senses gave his location, and anticipation rose inside her heart. She wanted to see what kind of clothes he would be wearing, how he looked....
And mostly, she wanted to see his reaction.
CREAK
As the door opened, the person she was expecting revealed himself.
Before Diana stood the person whom she held in the highest regard, his appearance was as striking as ever, and she couldn't help but let her eyes roam over him, taking in every detail.
His dark hair, slightly longer than how it was when he entered the academy, was tied neatly behind his head. The way he wore it revealed his forehead but covered his sides with small bangs, accentuating his sharp features. But what always caught her attention were his eyes—burning, cold crimson orbs that seemed to hold a world of mysteries. They were eyes that could both intimidate and captivate.
Callius's attire was as serious as his demeanor, yet it fit him incredibly well. He wore a tailored ensemble of dark hues that perfectly complemented his pale skin. The lines of the clothing emphasized his lean, well-defined body, giving him an air of strength and presence.
'Ah....' Diana was left speechless.
Callius was someone that always put importance on his clothing, but right now, it looked like he put more effort than usual. He looked like he just appeared from a fairy tale.
'This....' She just stood there and watched him without uttering any word, and no words were spoken.
That was because even Callius, too, was slightly taken aback by the girl before her who looked like the epitome of perfection almost.
ραndαsnοvεl.cοm It was one of the first times after he came to this world that he felt his trait [Aesthetic Sense] was satisfied this much.
'Wow....' He didn't mutter any words, but he also knew this girl took his breath off for a second.
A scene that was both enchanting and ethereal. Her silver hair shimmered as if kissed by moonlight, cascading down her back like a cascade of liquid silver. Her blue eyes held a depth that mirrored the expanse of the sky itself, drawing him in with their captivating allure.
She was neither tall nor short, her stature delicate and petite, giving her an air of grace that was both alluring and enchanting. Every movement she made seemed to be guided by an otherworldly elegance as if she were a creature from a realm beyond.
The pale skin she shared with the Augustride family only added to her ethereal appearance, a canvas for the moonlight to dance upon. Her features were delicate and refined, each one contributing to the overall picture of a being who seemed to have stepped out of a fairy tale.
Even his senses, which he was proud of, thanks to his sensitivity, were calm as the ocean when he looked into her. Just like the tranquility possessed the girl itself, from his senses alone, he felt like this was his place of comfort.
It was the effect of her fairy class, after all. Even though Diana was not using her magic or mana at the moment, her strong emotions alone were enough to affect the mana around her as a ruler, and she couldn't help it.I think you should take a look at
She wanted him to be with her and stand beside her all the time, and her mana obeyed her will to the core.
Callius was the first one to wake up from his stupor as he looked into the girl who was looking at him with a dazed gaze. Normally he would not feel any emotion from the gazes he got, but this time it was different since he enjoyed her gaze on him.
So he waited for a while until he saw Diana was about to regain her control as well.
"Shall we?" Callius finally spoke, his voice carrying a soft warmth that was reserved solely for his sister. He extended his arm toward her, a silent invitation for them to begin their weekend together.
FLINCH
And Diana flinched in response as her cheeks slightly flushed. But it took only half a second to regain her control.
Diana's eyes sparkled as she looked at him, her previous speechlessness replaced by a radiant smile. She placed her hand on his arm, intertwining her fingers with his. "Let's go, brother," she replied, her tone filled with enthusiasm and a touch of playfulness.
She wanted to ask if she was beautiful, but she didn't since she didn't want to look like she needed confirmation from him.
She knew this was a chance she would not be getting any time soon, so she was determined to make use of it to the maximum extent.
"What is the plan for today?" Callius asked with a small smile.
"Brother, since you said you get permission to go outside, I assumed we would be leaving the academy," Diana replied, her fingers slowly moving around his hand to see a reaction.
Though, there was no way Callius' pride would allow that.
"Yes. I got the permission; look at this." Callius mumbled as he showed her the stamp of the vice-headmaster of the academy, Seraphina Riftwind.
Seeing this, Diana nodded her head, but at the same time, her gaze was narrowed.
"Brother, that woman didn't want something unspeakable from you, right?" Diana asked as she moved closer and smelled his clothes. Of course, there was probably no way that a natural smell would be left on his clothes, but she was rather looking for a mana scent.
"What do you think?" Callius answered with a small smile on his own. "What might be the reason she let us go out like that?"
After all, the academy was mostly strict when it came to students leaving. Unless they got a quest from the bulletin board, the only way to leave the academy was to get permission, and it was something that was rumored to be hard to get.
At this question, Diana pondered for a second, and it didn't take long for her quick-witted mind to find the answer.
"It was because you revealed that Blackwood was a demon, wasn't it?"
"Indeed. It seems my sister is not only otherworldly beautiful, but she is also smart." Callius answered, interposing a small compliment into his words.
FLINCH
Only to see the reaction that would come from Diana. His strong senses and their arms touching were enough to let him feel Diana stiffen.
However, again Diana regained her control instantly as she turned to Callius with a bright smile. "Thank you, brother." And answered.
"It is nothing to be thankful for. I am just stating what is obvious, look at all those people around us; everyone is looking at you." Callius spoke as he gazed towards the outside.
"Ah...." Diana, whose attention was on Callius the whole time, finally looked around, only to see a bunch of students looking at them.
Teachers, seniors, personals, male or female, nothing mattered. Almost everyone's attention was on them, and this made her both happy and angry.
"How dare these vixens look at him?" She mumbled with a small tone as her pressure erupted, enveloping everyone looking at them.
Then she changed her face instantly as she looked into the Callius once more.
"Thank you, brother." As she thanked him happily with a bright smile.
'Sigh....Look how innocent she looks...She probably doesn't even think she is doing something bad inside her head...' Callius thought, looking at Diana.
Just like that, they kept going longer until they reached the teleportation gate where they would be leaving the academy.....
