“Why? Why? Why are you here?”

Did he use magic?

How did he suddenly appear right in front of her eyes?

She was sure she saw the necklace shine.

“Is there magic on this necklace?”

“That’s right. There is magic that helps the person teleport towards the other who wore the same necklace.” Archduke Kyar said as she pointed at the necklace around his neck.

The pendant on his necklace was as black as her.

She couldn’t believe that she had worn a communication bracelet on her wrist and a teleportation necklace around her neck at the same time.

Isabella stared at him, stunned, as he showed their matching magical pieces of jewelry as if they were ‘couple items.’

Isabella now understood why this necklace was so expensive that one could buy a castle.

“You can teleport to my location, too, whenever you want. Of course, there is a limit to how often you can use it. You can only use it three times, so use it carefully.”

Wow.

She can only use teleportation magic on this necklace three times.

Why was it so expensive, then?

The dealers were pure thieves.

For a moment, Isabella wondered if she should learn magic, but that didn’t matter right now.

“Why on earth are you here, Your Highness?”

“I was just anxious, so I came here… I’m glad I came.” He muttered coolly as he watched Lia sitting right next to her.

“Oh, that’s good. First of all, I understand that you came from this necklace because you are concerned about our wellbeing. But what are you going to do after this? Weren’t you on a beast hunting expedition?”

“I could use the teleport tower to return.”

“Well, it’s not like the money would rot.”

“You don’t have to dwell on such a small sum of money.”

A small sum of money, huh?

Thinking about the cost of the teleport tower still left Isabella in tears.

It was expensive enough to buy a small house.

“If you keep wasting your money like this, I’ll throw this necklace and bracelet into the sea.” She threatened sternly.

Archduke’s thick, dark brows furrowed.

“All right. I was only going to visit you today, anyway.” He replied, nodding a little.

Perhaps, it would be a bit of a waste to throw Duke Kyar’s gifts away.

“Are you going to stay here?” He asked, staring at her fiercely.

Ria reached out to grab Isabella’s arm and spoke with a frightened look on her face. “My sister said we could sleep here tonight.”

Duke Kyar’s gaze on Ria intensified.

“Yes. I told Ria we could sleep here tonight. It’s just for today, Your Highness, so don’t worry and go to bed.” Isabella said calmly.

Duke Kyar appeared here with the teleportation magic.

Unfortunately, the necklace couldn’t send him back directly to the Northern Kingdom, so she thought about having breakfast with him tomorrow before he returned home.

“Then I’ll sleep here, too.”

“What?”

Before she could stop his plans, Duke Kyar approached and sat down beside her.

“If you don’t like that, I will sleep here, and you must get rid of Ria as well.”

“Sister.”

Ria glanced at him bitterly, and Duke Kyar scowled at her.

She looked at Isabella with eyes full of pain as she clung to her arm.

Isabella sighed heavily as she watched their never-ending confrontation.

“I’m exhausted, so I’m going to bed now. Will you make up your mind, Your Highness? You may leave this room or sleep with us quietly.” Isabella said as she laid back on the bed.

Duke Kyar and Ria exchanged glances for a while before they decided to lay on each of Isabella’s sides in silence.

She still had no idea what was going on here.

Isabella felt like she had seen this before—like a scene from a movie.

Isabella exhaled a sigh.

She could feel their intense gazes burning her face.

It was the most burdensome thing.

She used to be jealous of this situation when she saw it in a movie once but now… NOT AT ALL.

Tonight will be a long night.

Duke Kyar had to take the teleport tower back to the North early in the morning, so he had to eat an early breakfast.

Marc woke up at dawn, and he seemed upset upon learning that Duke Kyar had come to visit.

“I’ll take the ‘little too much back from yesterday’s conversation. Duke Kyar is just TOO MUCH. He is a LOT to handle.” Marc whispered at Isabella after seeing Duke Kyar off at the teleport tower.

“I know. Your Highness, Prince Victor, must be surprised when he saw his garden.”

Before they arrived at the teleport Tower, Archduke Kyar stopped at Prince Victor’s castle and froze all of the flowers in his garden.

“Well, I’m sure he had a rough idea about the perpetrator. Prince Victor knew His Highness’s character well.”

It was dangerous to fall into Duke Kyar’s line of sight.

Nevertheless, he seemed to be a little cautious because of Ria.

Perhaps, he had grown to care for her.
