"My ally, Taro. Appoint him as Commander."
In a luxurious room, Princess Ignitol orders me to do so directly and I get a little confused. The source of the escort's guide, the place he reached, seemed to be a room guided only by a person his Royal Highness had determined to be a dignitary, and the conversation proceeded at will during that time.
"Lead mercenaries and militias attached to our army as" Commander (officel) ". Like when you protected me from Hardy's poison fangs again, I want you to help me."
That's why I became 'Commander (officel)'.
As for this one, I never mind being forced to join the military gates because I was suddenly going to be treated as an ally by an inconsiderate NPC or on the side of the Princess Ignitol family... "Commander (officel)" or something too responsible for my concern.
When I ordered the quest called "The War of Grant Thor Succession," I saw a summary of the quest in the log, but it didn't say anything about the identity of "Commander (officel)".
I mean, it's a special case.
"If Taro says' Commander ', we'd better choose' Platoon Leader '."
"Right. I think it would be better to have as many soldiers as possible."
"Platoon Leader (Command)", as best friends call it, indicates the identity of leading a 10-man NPC militia to join the battlefield. As long as he survives as' Platoon Leader (Command) ', the militia morale rises and all NPC statuses are corrected 1.1x. If a' Platoon Leader (Command) ', a Mercenary (Player), is killed, the status of the soldier under his command drops by a factor of 0.9, and he only seems to be able to take a monotonous move that he will only attack nearby enemies.
By the way, a militia is like a prostitute living in Ignitol territory.
"Mercenaries choose between a platoon leader or a soldier to take part in the inheritance war."
"Mm-hmm, but if you get killed once in your" platoon leader "capacity, again, when you're in the inheritance war, you only get to choose" soldier "."
"Then everyone chooses' Platoon Leader 'from the beginning."
"Oh? But if you're a soldier, your unit says Regular Army, right?
As we are all discussing, it seems that ordinary mercenaries (players) choose either 'platoon leader (command)' or 'soldier (soldier)'. I didn't have a choice, "Commander".
"Soldier" is under the command of the Knights and appears to be in a mixed and serving position with regular soldiers.
Separating the chain of command seems to separate the Knights into a division called the Regular Army and the 'Soldiers (Soldiers)' who join it at the top and beneath it, and militias with independent command as free guerrilla forces.
In other words, this time it seems to be the framework of a mercenary regiment that leads the militia.
Of course, the militia NPCs seem inferior to regular army soldiers and to the Knights, and how to override that status difference will be key to how to command the militia NPCs. Such a type of mercenary (player) would choose 'soldier (soldier)' from the beginning and act with a robust regular army.
"Soldiers" cannot march on free routes for easy survival. Because an NPC called the Knights gives orders and marches according to their will. If you go into selfish behavior, your survival rate will drop significantly because you will act alone from the circle of groups called regular armies.
By the way, whether you choose 'Platoon Leader (Command)' or 'Soldier', they say all units of the soldier species you can belong to are infantry. Wouldn't mercenary (player) troops disintegrate at once if they frontally collided with horseback squad NPC or something?
If I could at least procure a spear or something on the ground and let the NPC militia have it, I'd feel like it would go up......
"Oops, I chose 'Platoon Leader', but this is quite..."
"You have a do-it-yourself element. NPC Militia Gear Change... Now there's only a basic sword, but there's also a nurturing element."
"Arinshin likes"
"Fatigue, there's something about it."
Lead your own troops, grow together, and run through the battlefield.
Yeah, you wanted to try it, too.
Mysterious Alchemist Squad Snatches Around The Battlefield, How Cool If It Was Spread!
"Okay. Everybody, you're the 'platoon leader', right?
Everyone nodded in unison to confirm Evening Fai.
A total of seven "platoon commanders" were created here, and a mercenary unit of 70 militiamen was established under their umbrella.
And if Evening Fai slowly poked her knees in front of me, each 'platoon leader (command)' was in the flow, and everyone was there.
"We volunteer for Lord Taro's unit, Commander."
"My Lord Commander, do me a favor?
To be honest, I wanted to shy away from 'commanding officer', but when I'm given this kind of atmosphere, it exalts nature and mood.
"I swear my allegiance to Heavenly Lord."
"Regards, Mr. Tallo"
It's just for now.
"We'll take care of Taro's escort!
"Protect Taro."
When it comes to why we all take attitudes like this out.
That's because of the position I was appointed as Commander.
Commander (officel) is only assigned to mercenaries (players) who are recognized by NPCs of each faction for their special merits. Its effectiveness cannot be directly attributed to a subordinate named a militia, as in "Platoon Leader (Command)". However, by nominating up to 20 "platoon leaders" from the same faction, you can put them under your own umbrella.
Although I do not have the authority to give orders to mercenaries (players) who are "platoon leaders (commands)," the militia NPC follows my decision, which is "commander (officel)," as a priority over the instructions issued by "platoon leaders (commands)".
This system cannot be built without the trust of both Commander and Platoon Leader. If I send weird commands to the militia, 'platoon leaders' could jeopardize their valuable troop strength.
And most importantly, Commander (Officel) is under his umbrella and can constantly enhance the status of all militia NPCs, including Platoon Leader (Command), by 1.3x.
Add to the morale boosting effect that the platoon captain has, and the militia will boast 1.4x the status.
In other words, it equals being able to make an elite unit.
However, if "Commander (officel)" is killed, all stats of the soldiers under the umbrella will be drastically reduced to 0.6x. And once they kill me, I won't be able to bloom back as' Commander 'again, and I won't be able to rejoin the Ignitol Inheritance War as' Soldier '.
In other words, we need the Platoon Leaders, mercenaries (players) who protect me even if they think about the risks that their allies take and the risks that they take.
Fortunately, I had as many 'platoon leaders (commands)' as I could waste.
I can't thank you enough for everyone on my side.
While I feel a little illumination, I will state my intentions for the battle that is about to begin.
"I will surely offer Princess Ignitol the glory of our victory! Now go on with me! Brave squad captains!
"Kuku, Evening Fai put you on well?
I felt somewhat blamed for the night's break-in. Still, I'm glad everyone accepted my request to come under my umbrella.

Staring at the flowing log, I laughed invincibly.
