“...”
Yong Jegun and the tigers watched me as I was rendered speechless.
I would rather hear Hwang Jiho laugh than have this silence, but the old man was just smiling.
Is it because Jeokho told him he’s not acting his age?
This was a bad time for that though.
Woof!
It was the angel in my arms who saved me from the embarrassing situation.
Olmu looked up at me, his tail flapping slightly.
I somehow felt like he was encouraging me, making everything better.
‘I said thanks to Yong Jegun, but doesn’t he find it weird that I manipulated him? Several hundreds of times at that’
Yong Jegun doesn’t know that though.
But he might doubt how efficiently I guided him through the best route in the game.
I have to be on the lookout since Yong Jegun might be able to figure it out.
However, my thoughts went to waste in the next few seconds.
“Euishin hyung replayed the level hundreds of times to save you. It seemed like you had a hard time.”
Eunho’s testimony immediately caught me.
I post on an online blog about my gameplay for every level and every replay.
It wasn’t to brag about my stagnant and rotten game addict life, but because I thought someone might find a better solution by reading my game records.
Eunho saw that blog in the past world, so he knew how many times I replayed a level.
Far from being upset upon hearing that, Yong Jegun was very excited.
“Wow, really? Which replay was the one I experienced?”
“Based on the report you submitted, it should be after the 306th.”
“It took that long to get me there. It must’ve taken a lot of effort to locate Baekho, deal with enemies and the snow, and still somehow save the children.”
...How does he know that exact detail?
While I admired Eunho’s memory, I was overwhelmed by the urge to run away.
“Amazing. Jo Euishin is indeed worthy to be the benefactor of the Tiger Clan.”
“Jo Euishin...”
“...”
The tigers seem to be impressed as they said something they didn’t know I was tired of hearing.
I don’t mean to hide the fact that I was a game addict.
I wasn’t ashamed of it.
However, it was a bit much to have it revealed in front of the characters in that game.
Thankfully, Baekho-gun and Olmu made my mind a little stable today as well.
Not knowing what I was thinking, Yong Jegun and Eunho’s conversation continued.
“I should call Euishin the Dragon Clan’s benefactor more from now on. I can’t forget to say thanks too.”
“Euishin hyung is already being treated well as the Tiger Clan’s benefactor, so there’s no need for that. The Dragon Clan owes Euishin hyung a lot, so you should return the favor.”
“I’ve been noticing it since earlier, but you’re calling Euishin your hyung...? Eunho-ssi must be influenced by Hwangho-ssi as soon as he woke up.”
“Don’t you have a friendly relationship with the young descendant of the Tiger Clan under Hwangho-nim’s influence too?”
“Hahahaha! I don’t know why I’m caught between you two, but this is fun to watch.”
I began to explain the situation, but I omitted the fact that Eunho was in the same world as me.
I just briefly said that I had woken him up.
Therefore, it seems that Eunho misunderstood because he didn’t know that he was in a senior-junior relationship with me in the previous world.
There’s no way Eunho would pretend to be young just because of the old man’s influence.
The same goes for my playable character, Yong Jegun.
The royal lineage of thousands of years wouldn’t make friends with a young descendant just because of influence.
I decided to pretend that I didn’t notice their war of nerves.
Just in time, Kim Shinrok arrived from his work with the Jiikhoe.
Open...
“I’m ho— Hello.”
Anyway, the situation has been settled so we decided to move on.
Kim Shinrok was puzzled, and Yong Jegun looked disappointed that he didn’t see the amusing scene.
The morning meeting was shaky and cluttered, but the meeting in the afternoon went seriously.
Various plans were presented based on Yong Jegun and Jeokho’s reports, the Christmas event being planned by the student body, and the things that I know.
Moving markers, drawing new lines, and repeatedly drafting and canceling, we improved our plan several times.
“Yong Jegun has something on his mind. Speak.”
“Yeah. If we want to do this, we’ll need the cooperation of the student council. Should we talk to them?”
“Dongha hyung will cooperate with the Tiger Clan. He knows about me too.”
“I see there’s another student you call hyung, Eunho-ssi.”
“Yes, Dongha hyung is my brother on my family register. I’m going to be using the name Cheon Eunha from now on.”
Yong Jegun’s eyes widened for a second.
He didn’t ask in detail how Eunho became Cheon Eunha, but his expression tells me he’s going to figure it out someday.
Sooner or later, he might dig up information from Cheon Dongha.
“That’s it for today. Another variable coming up before Christmas is a big possibility. There’s only so much planning we could do.”
At Hwang Jiho’s words, the meeting was concluded.
Looking outside, it seems like we got caught up in our meeting as it was already dark.
Hearing that the meeting was over, I suddenly felt relaxed and sleepy.
‘...I haven’t slept much lately.’
I don’t think I’ve been sleeping much even before I used the Replay function on Yong Jegun.
Did I sleep after that?
Seeing that I’m so sleepy, I don’t think so.
I’ll get nagged if I fell asleep in front of the tigers, so I forced myself to stand up.
When I turned down the dinner offer and hurriedly said I’d head back to my dormitory room...
“Jo Euishin.”
Baekho-gun pointed at my arms.
I looked down and saw Olmu all rolled up, fast asleep.
I guess he fell asleep during the long meeting.
It must’ve been terribly boring, but I felt guilty thinking of the angel who stayed with me throughout even though we couldn’t play.
“Follow me.”
Baekho-gun took the lead.
He seemed to be leading me to where I can put down Olmu.
I couldn’t leave my sleeping angel behind, so I decided to follow him.
I did my best to focus to not fall asleep.
‘There’s something on my mind...’
My thoughts became misty from the drowsiness.
There was something odd with what I had experienced in this world so far and the conversation we had today.
It wasn’t directly related to the First Christmas event, and it wasn’t really a big problem.
But it was clear to me that contradictions existed.
A way to confirm it came to mind.
I could check with the transcendent universe.
“Sleep well.”
I was lost in thought and when I returned, I was on the bed in the room where I slept last time.
I was lying in bed with Olmu in my arms.
Hwik.
I tried to grasp the situation despite my drowsy mind, but it wasn’t easy.
At some point, I felt a blanket cover my body.
“You’re doing great.”
I think I heard Baekho-gun’s voice as he left, but my eyes were already closing.
“So you don’t have to worry about anything.”
I felt a sense of relief from his words, and I fell asleep in an instant.
