Ahn Dain investigated the meaning of Yong Jegun’s words until the evening of Christmas Eve.
Though her investigations didn’t involve grand actions.
Ahn Dain looked at the yearbooks available at the library and on the bulletin board that contained hostile words toward Yong Jegun.
As a result, she learned about lawmaker Sung Gukeon’s time at Eungwang High.
Sung Gukeon was a bad boy as much as Class Zero students usually were, and his homeroom teacher had a good relationship with Yong Jegun.
That homeroom teacher is now dead.
‘That person died of a disease. The chief mourner was Professor Yong Jegun.’
Ahn Dain thought the same things as Sung Gukeon.
For a moment, she felt unreasonable anger toward Yong Jegun.
She thought Yong Jegun could’ve healed the disease through the Cintamani.
‘But lawmaker Sung Gukeon came to the festival to play chess with Professor Yong Jegun.’
Did his mind change over time?
For Ahn Dain, even if her anger at Yong Jegun would’ve subsided, she wouldn’t spend her precious time in the same room looking at Yong Jegun’s face.
Ahn Dain agonized.
‘Congressman Sung Gukeon said Professor Kim Shinrok is changing his identity. Is that his hypothesis? Then should I pretend not to know?’
Perhaps some of Kim Shinrok’s students other than Ahn Dain and Sung Gukeon have reached the same conclusion.
Yong Jegun seemed to give hints to students that he liked, so some bright students at Eungwang High must’ve noticed.
However, Kim Shinrok’s secret was never revealed publicly.
Perhaps his old students pretended not to know for his sake.
“Are you done changing to Santa clothes?”
Then, she heard Moon Saeron’s voice.
Students on duty as guides in the classroom were supposed to wear Santa costumes, but Ahn Dain was the first to take charge.
Moon Saeron, who came to cover, is planning to take a photo of Ahn Dain in Santa costume before she goes.
She complimented her, saying that the red cape looks good on Ahn Dain as she took pictures.
“Do you know the student council’s also wearing Santa clothes?”
“The student council?”
The first thought that came to her mind was Joo Soohyuk.
Moon Saeron pointed out the window in response.
“It would be nice to take a picture together, right? Wow, it’s snowing just in time too! Huh? Something doesn’t feel right...”
Ahn Dain looked at the snow and felt uneasy.
The snow meant that it would be a white Christmas, but she couldn’t feel happy.
The snow stopped soon enough, and it became noisy outside.
Yong Jegun’s cyan space covered the sky.
‘A strength as big and powerful as this!’
Ahn Dain decided to join her classmates first.
Moon Saeron seemed to want to run outside to cover the story right away, but Joo Soohyuk was away for student council activities so she had no choice but to stay since she’s the class vice president.
‘Professor Yong Jegun was suppressing his powers on campus. There must be a reason why he’s revealing it today.’
The miracle of the Cintamani.
That miracle has covered Eungwang High.
It’s a phenomenon so great that it wouldn’t be strange to assume that it’s a superior being that intervened.
Then, Yong Jegun’s words naturally came to Ahn Dain’s mind.
— I want you to protect Shinrok from any royal lineage if I become a superior being.
Soon, Do Wonwoo’s announcement rang throughout the school.
The ominous thought didn’t disappear from Ahn Dain’s mind because of the unprecedented situation in Eungwang High.
‘When enemies broke in last year, Professor Kim Shinrok almost died!’
Ahn Dain arrived at the freshmen building lobby.
Some students briefly stared at her, mesmerized by the appearance of Ahn Dain in a Santa costume.
If it wasn’t for the emergency, students might’ve been in a daze.
Ahn Dain approached the student officers who were checking and preparing for evacuation.
As in PMH, Do Wonwoo used the Student Association Hall as the headquarter.
Perhaps because the Student Council Hall and the General Club Hall were empty and closed, the shutters were firmly down on the doors and windows and enemies showed no interest in those areas.
When enemies rush to the Student Association Hall, the interception unit quickly intercepts and subjugates them.
“It’s the freshmen students!”
“No visible injuries. Get them inside the Student Association Hall!”
The interception unit found us, their spirits visibly high.
The team was composed of students, student council members, and a small number of faculty members who happened to be near the central area preparing for club events and private booths.
I didn’t see any sophomores among them.
‘The sophomores aren’t here yet.’
The freshmen area was closest to the central district, perhaps in consideration for freshmen not getting lost around the large campus.
It’s only natural that we’d arrive first before the sophomores.
“Because of the situation, we can’t let the freshmen rest. It’s a situation where we don’t know how long we’ll have to hold out. We have to decide on a rotation and fight against enemies.”
Do Wonwoo greeted us in the lobby of the Student Association Hall.
“We’re currently recruiting students with wide-range insight skills and broad light skills that can be invoked. We need to figure out the situation.”
There were a few students with insight skills, but no one had a skill that can cover the whole of Eungwang High.
I could do it if I used my Player Identity light skill, but I can’t stay here for long.
In the end, it was decided to select several students to cover various places, and among them is Moon Saeron.
While looking at the freshmen students, Do Wonwoo asked.
“Where’s Dain?”
“I heard she’d be joining her homeroom teacher.”
Do Wonwoo was looking at Yoo Sanghoon when he asked the question, but I answered first because I thought they’d be at each other’s throats after the Yoo Sanghee incident.
“...Got it.”
Do Wonwoo handed the layout to the class officers.
We’ve been placed in each direction according to number.
Exit 1 is for Classes 0,1 and 2.
Exit 2 is for Classes 3,4,5 and 6.
Exit 3 is for Classes 7, 8, 9, and 10.
There were many students in Classes 1 and 2, so only three classes were assigned to Exit 1.
In addition, the division of freshmen seems to be aimed at encouraging the second and third-graders to form an interception unit since classes that interacted with each other were grouped.
“People in Class 1 and 2 know each other’s skills since they have joint classes sometimes.”
“I think Wooram and Lena arrived first!”
“Right, they were at the central area.”
I checked the list of assignments while we moved to Exit 1.
Those who arrived were marked, but when I checked the names, some people arrived earlier than expected.
‘...They got here faster than I thought! There’s a possibility that the situation will come soon.’
Yoo Sanghoon walked fast perhaps because the tempo I walked was faster.
He kept holding the dueling shield in his hand.
Maeng Hyodon also walked quickly and loosened his hands that wore protective equipment.
When we arrived at the passageway leading to Exit 1...
Kwaaang!
It was buried in the explosion, but I could clearly hear Mok Wooram shouting Kwon Lena’s name.
“The support group is in the rear! Those who used up their energy waves while on the move can stay in the Student Association Hall!”
I shouted like so and ran out, ready to pull the trigger of my energy gun.
When I passed several automatic doors, I saw the tragedy of Exit 1.
Students fight enemies and maintain the line of defense.
Joo Soohyuk, wearing a Santa costume, was holding his dual swords and maintaining the line of defense.
Kwak Gyugu is recovering his body through his light skill 100 Seconds of Grace.
Kwon Lena who lost her whip.
Mok Wooram was blocking her with an axe.
Then there was Bang Yoonseob, wielding his right arm that turned purple.
