Chapter 141 Choosing The Night Schedule

After almost three weeks of being with the System, Roland was already aware that not all of the people who the System managed to face-slap were bad people.

Sometimes, they just have the wrong opinion of him, and the best example for that would be Madison's case earlier.

She was clearly sympathizing with him earlier but because of his actions, he ended up face-slapping her in the end.

Roland could not do anything about rather than be happy about the face-slap points that he earned. He thought that this was the best way to appreciate their support for him.

"I have already sent the friend request, you can add me to the group chat now," Roland said amidst the deafening silence.

Even Anna was finally held back by Bryan after creating such an embarrassing scene.

"O-oh, right," Madison replied with a blank expression.

She doesn't know what to feel about Roland anymore. Should she feel mad for getting face-slapped, or should she still feel pity towards him. Madison could only release a wry smile as she accepted Roland's friend request.

As she added him to the group chat, she could not help but notice his display picture.

She subconsciously clicked on it and realized that it was actually a picture of him staring at the distant sea.

There appeared to be wind around him as could be seen from the fluttering of his shirt.

The picture was a side view angle of him. Madison looked at his handsome figure in the picture and her heart could not help but flutter for unknown reason.

The picture and the person beside her were the same, yet different. The one in the picture was emitting a charm that made anyone stare at it.

In fact, it was for this reason that Stacey made this particular picture his display picture for Dissbook.

When Stacey took the picture without him knowing it, she was surprised at the perfect result and thought that it would be a shame if they did not share it on social media.

At first, Stacey even wanted to upload it on her own Dissbook account, but Roland opposed the idea the next second, as the last thing he wanted right now was to get famous. After all, even though she was not at a celebrity level, Stacey's Dissbook still has a lot of followers, even more than Madison.

If they saw her uploading a picture of a man, it would surely attract attention without a doubt.

If he became famous, would he still be able to face-slapped people? How would he earn face-slapping points then?

It was only after Stacey insisted for so long that they decided to make it just his display picture instead. They decided to meet in the middle.

Roland thought that it was okay as he was not popular and that he only even had Stacey as his friend at that time.

"Thanks for adding me," Roland's voice awakened Madison from her stupor.

Madison could only nod her head as she retreated away from Roland's chair.

She continued to get everyone's Dissbook account and added them all to their class group chat.

This time however, the room was especially quiet. Although the matter earlier was already finished, a lot of gazes were still landing on Roland from time to time.

Roland's senses had been heightened so he was aware of their gazes. However, he chose to ignore them as usual and acted as if nothing in particular had happened.

After showing them the Ayphone 18, Roland was aware that their treatment would probably change for the better and many of them would probably strike a conversation with him later and others might try to befriend him.

However, it would be a joke if Roland still decided to mingle with them after knowing their real attitudes. He already learned a lesson and he would surely not repeat the same mistakes again.

After Madison added everyone to their new group chat, she went in front to announce some things before she dismissed everyone.

"Alright, now that everyone has already been added, you can now begin to choose your own schedule in the poll that I just made."

Roland opened his Dissbook messenger and saw that a poll had truly been added by her.

In the poll, one could only choose from one of two options which was a regular schedule, and a night or afternoon schedule.

Regular Schedule as the name implies, made the student come to school from morning until afternoon. Night or Afternoon schedule on the other hand has the student come to school in the afternoon and would usually be finished around nighttime.

Previously, Roland chose the regular schedule as he would always go to the Mark Jonalds to work part-time under Gustav.

Now that he no longer has the work, Roland thought for a moment before choosing the night schedule option.

After all, even though he no longer has any work, he was sure that he would be busy during the day because he will have to deal with the business as well as to receive the System's rewards that involve almost everything around him.

Right now, he even still has a lot of rewards he had not seen yet.

Making his school schedule would be just right for him.

After Roland chose the night schedule, a lot of people who planned to get close to him also chose the night schedule as well.

What was surprising was that Anna and Bryan actually chose the night schedule as well.

Roland did not mind their actions and ignored them. It was apparent that they were planning something behind his back, but he welcomed them to try.

After some hesitation, Madison chose the night schedule as well.

After everyone managed to choose aside from Amy who was absent, Madison immediately sent the result to their teacher, who replied with a like or thumbs up emoji.

After a while, Madison received the teacher's reply and announced it to everyone, "So, amongst the 31 of us, 1 is absent, 20 people chose the Night Schedule while the remaining 10 chose the regular schedule. As we managed to fill the poll immediately, teacher Ted said that the schedule will be effective tomorrow. So those who chose the Night Schedule can just come here at 3 pm tomorrow."

After that, Madison told everyone that they can go home for today as there would no longer be any class as it was just the first day and that the teachers and the students were still trying to familiarize themselves again.

With that being said, Roland no longer stayed in the room and stood up to get out.

The Sparkling Buds were scheduled to open later upon his arrival. Although he does not plan on appearing in public, he still does not want to miss the opening of his first business.

However, right as he was about to step out of the room, someone suddenly blocked the door in front.

Meanwhile, Sparkling Buds, inside the restaurant.

Stacey could be seen tapping her fingers on the table as her gaze was fixated outside the restaurant.

Seeing the still empty street across Sparkling Buds, a frown could not help but appear on her face as she asked Gustav beside her, "Did you investigate what's going on already?"
