Roland flipped to the next page again.

This time, he no longer saw that domineering starting sentence. Instead, it was just a simple 'Part 1' as its title.

The title was written in plain black text. Its size was bigger compared to the wall of text below it.

Roland read the content and realized that unlike the last page, this particular page seemed to be talking about how one could cultivate.

Roland read the entry carefully and tried to memorize them all.

Earlier, Roland had already realized that this cultivation method was not directly uploaded to his brain like the knowledge that he got earlier.

It seemed that it truly just contained this book, and that he must read and understand their content first before he could truly master them. For Roland, this was only a little inconvenience, he liked studying as well so he wouldn't mind spending some time learning this cultivation method.

Anyways, according to it, cultivation was actually very easy.

All you needed to do was so sense the Heaven Energy that has always existed in the air, collect or absorb them into your meridian, and then refine them to become your own.

After refining the Heaven Energy and making it your own, you would then be able to do anything you want with it.

Those who practice spells can use the Heaven Energy as a fuel of some sort. Using it, one could create fire out of thin air, water, move rocks and condense sharp wind blades. Of course, the prerequisite was that you must have known the particular spells first.

For example, Razor's blood enslavement doesn't really just use blood. It also uses Heaven Energy as a way to activate its power, the blood was only a medium.

Anyways, there were countless ways to absorb Heaven Energy, with the most common being through deep meditation while reciting the cultivation method. Others may involve absorbing them directly from spiritual fruits or magical treasures that have gained and absorbed Heaven Energy.

At this moment, Roland doesn't have those things yet. Even the most common method could not be initialized at this moment as Fore City was truly barren with Heaven Energy.

For this, Roland could only sigh in regret. He thought that going towards higher level cities might truly be the best path for him.

Knowing that he could grow stronger there, there was no way he would sit idle in Fore City and wait for Tiger Tyrant to come and find him to settle the score.

With that, Roland already planned to go and visit those Heaven Energy rich cities in the future. He might need some guidance from Carrol with this, fortunately, he already has her number saved on his phone earlier so it would be pretty easy to contact her now anyways.

Roland flipped the page once again. However, to his disappointment, it seemed that part 1 had already ended.

The book only contains three pages in total at this moment. First page being blank, second page being those domineering words and aspirations and then the last page being the tutorial part and the actual breathing method of some sort.

Although it may seem that only the third page was the most useful as it discussed the 'how to' cultivate part, it actually wasn't.

For Roland, the second page was the most important thing. It was because on the second page, those domineering words and aspirations were actually mantras that needed to be recited over and over again while meditating. Only this way would one be able to absorb the Heaven Energy inside their body and let travel across it according to the flow mentioned in the cultivation method.

Anyways, as Razor and Carrol had said, Fore City truly doesn't have any Heaven Energy, so Roland was not eager to try this cultivation method yet. Of course, one's curiosity must still be fulfilled so he was still planning on trying it later.

After all, hearing it from someone else and witnessing it yourself were two different things. Who knew if there might be a miracle and that he might really sense Heaven Energy?

With that being said, Roland decided to hold it for tomorrow and just go to sleep now. He has already disturbed Stacey's sleep twice, and he was afraid of disturbing her once again.

He pulled the blanket up and covered his and Stacey's body. Beneath it, his hand moved like a snake and traveled from Stacey's stomach all the way to her breast.

And for some reason, a smile actually appeared on Stacey's lips the moment Roland's hand landed on her breast.

Roland then drifted to sleep, with his hand grasping Stacey's peach.

Like usual, time passed in a blink of an eye.

Roland woke up early as usual. He looked at Stacey sleeping peacefully and hesitated if he should wake her up so that they could do their daily exercise together.

He looked at his phone and realized that it was still 4:00 in the morning. Along with it, he also saw that he had a notification on his phone. He checked it and realized that it was a direct message from Madison.

The message was actually sent yesterday but Roland only noticed it now. He looked at its content and after finding that she was only informing him that she arrived safe, he decided to ignore it and not reply.

And after some deliberation, Roland decided not to wake up Stacey for now. She has been quite busy lately and Roland was worried that she was not getting enough sleep.

'Let this day be her cheat day then,' he thought as he stood up from the bed.

He washed and freshened himself up in the bathroom and changed into his exercise clothes. After that, he went to the villa's gym to start lifting some heavy weights to let out some sweats.

Exercising like this no longer benefits Roland. He was only doing it to change his previous uncaring mindset about himself.

After lifting a 200-kilogram barbel for a whole thirty minutes without stopping, Roland's body finally reeked of sweat. After wiping himself off from the towel that was prepared for him by one of the maids, Roland finally sat down on the mat, ready to try the cultivation method and to see for himself whether Heaven Energy truly doesn't exist in Fore City.
