C7 – It Can’t be Mo Changyou“Are you even worthy?” Mo Yunyun’s favorable impression of Mo Changyou vanished in an instant. With a cold snort, she strode past him. Sёarch* The NôᴠelFirё.net website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.
As the Mo family’s top prodigy, the idea of Mo Changyou suggesting she warm his bed was preposterous. Did he really think he was worthy of such a request?
“He’s nothing but a libertine,” Mo Yunyun thought to herself, shaking her head inwardly.
The disciples around them couldn’t believe their ears. “Has he lost his mind? How dare he flirt with Mo Yunyun?” one of them exclaimed.
“Doesn’t he realize that Mo Yangning is now pursuing Mo Yunyun? He’s practically signing his own death warrant,” another disciple remarked, eyeing Mo Changyou with astonishment.
At that moment, Mo Yangning’s gaze turned icy as he observed Mo Changyou. He was curious to see who dared to cause such a disturbance.
Upon recognizing Mo Changyou, Mo Yangning’s expression turned even colder, a hint of murderous intent flickering across his face. “Isn’t this the Mo family’s number one waste, Mo Changyou? You’ve managed to reach the fourth floor,” he said with a sneer.
The disciples burst into laughter; mocking Mo Changyou had become second nature to them.
“Well then, I look forward to seeing you reach the sixth floor,” Mo Changyou replied with a serene smile, stepping forward undeterred by the disciples’ mockery or Mo Yangning’s palpable rage. He maintained his composure, neither cringing nor boasting.
As soon as Mo Changyou entered the fourth level, he sensed something amiss. An immense gravitational force clung to his legs, causing his body to bend slightly. “Is there actually a gravity field on the fourth floor?” he murmured to himself, his pace significantly slowed.
Lifting his feet became a struggle. “You’re nothing but trash!” Mo Yangning declared with a frosty laugh, sparing Mo Changyou only a brief glance.
In his eyes, Mo Changyou was an easy kill.
The fourth floor was sparsely populated, with only about twenty individuals present. Mo Changyou cast a brief glance at the Puppets. Each Puppet on this level possessed the strength of Energy Condensation Level 3. Given the gravity field, even a disciple at Energy Condensation Level 4 would struggle to contend with these Level 3 Puppets.
What made these Puppets particularly formidable was their steel blades.
Suddenly, a ten-foot-tall black Puppet lunged at Mo Changyou with ferocious speed, its steel blade wielding an immense force. “Battle Symbol Spell, Dragon Tiger Fist!” Mo Changyou called out, ready to face the challenge head-on.
Mo Changyou executed the Dragon Tiger Fist, and behind him, the ethereal images of a dragon and tiger began to emerge.
“Mo Changyou is determined to press on. He’s unaware that the Puppets and the Gravity Field pose a threat to those at Energy Condensation Level 4,” chuckled a disciple upon observing Mo Changyou, who was at Energy Condensation Level 1.
“It’s futile for him to try any tricks on the fourth floor,” sneered a disciple standing next to Mo Yangning, shaking his head in disdain.
Within the Mo family’s Azure Dragon Pagoda, some disciples had managed to advance by cleverly evading the Puppets. Clearly, these disciples believed Mo Changyou had done the same to pass the levels.
Could someone considered a waste at Energy Condensation Level 1 possibly make it to the fourth floor?
Mo Changyou paid no mind to the other disciples. Instead, he launched a powerful punch, his keen battle instincts allowing him to swiftly dodge the Puppet’s steel blade and land a heavy blow to its chest.
A thud resonated as the chest of the Energy Condensation Level 3 Puppet was forced back several steps by Mo Changyou’s strike. Yet, Mo Changyou’s arms throbbed with pain, for the Puppet possessed the might to shatter mountains with its ten-thousand-kilogram strength.
“Quite intriguing,” Mo Changyou murmured with a slight smile, as he continued to swing his fists, expertly avoiding the steel blade with his exceptional combat awareness.
With the sound of a Puppet collapsing, Mo Changyou had vanquished an Energy Condensation Level 3 adversary. Though the challenge had intensified compared to the previous levels, it remained well within his grasp.
“He actually took down a Puppet,” whispered some disciples, their surprise evident. While a powerhouse like Mo Yangning could breeze through the fourth level, Mo Changyou was merely at Energy Condensation Level 1.
“Could he truly be the notorious failure of our Mo family?” pondered the disciple who had been observing Mo Changyou, his thoughts stirring a significant commotion.
Naturally, only a few witnessed this feat. To most, it seemed that Mo Changyou had merely floundered on the fourth level.
With trembling fists and sweat cascading down his face, Mo Changyou struggled to lift his feet, kicking the Puppet before him away. After enduring a grueling half-hour, he finally arrived at the threshold of the fifth level.
Mo Changyou gave a slight nod. At present, he was merely a step away from reaching Energy Condensation Level 2.
“It’s not too difficult,” Mo Changyou said with a light smile. Unbeknownst to him, he was the first person ever to reach the fifth level while still at Energy Condensation Level 1.
At that very moment, within the grand tapestry displayed outside, a fourth red dot illuminated on the fifth floor of the Azure Dragon Pagoda.
“My goodness, this time four disciples from the Mo family have made it to the fifth floor of the Azure Dragon Pagoda. It looks like we might even see someone advance to the sixth floor,” a disciple exclaimed, his eyes brimming with hope.
The Mo family hadn’t seen a disciple reach the sixth floor in many years. That milestone was last achieved by Mo Changyou’s father, Mo Feng, two decades ago.
“Definitely among those on the fifth floor are the two prodigies, Mo Yangning and Mo Yunyun. But I’m not sure who the other two are,” another disciple speculated about the identities of the remaining two.
