Thus, when the Source Sand was covering over the Mountain-Containing Embryo, it could use Metal Consume Manifestation to devour the Day and Night Spirit Silver. It would use its memory of the shape of the Divine Travel Black Swallow’s feather to produce the golden feathers Gray grew when it evolved into the Sky-Clouded Crane.

The golden feather was much more complicated to produce than the Divine Travel Black Swallow’s feathers. Hence, some time was needed in order to fully memorize and implement the change.

The Source Sand would also take time to fully absorb the Mountain-Containing Embryo’s altered abilities.

As such, Lin Yuan stored the hardworking Source Sand away.
