2239 Where Did You Hide?
After a few hours passed, the four lucky chosen Apostles walked out of the palace with ecstatic expressions.
The Apostles kneeling outside changed their attitudes toward the four Apostles.
The Polar Sea Large Lake was expansive and chock full of resources. The Apostles within the Polar Sea Large Lake were split into two groups.
The first group was made up of those who had been taught by Dictator Return to Ruins. The other group was made up of those who did not have the right to meet with Dictator Return to Ruins.
The Apostles Dictator Return to Ruins had taught occupied the upper echelons of the Polar Sea Large Lake, only seconded by the Apostles who had received Dictator Return to Ruins’s dictator’s prizes.
This separation of lifeforms in the Polar Sea Large Lake caused the Apostles to take on the habit of paying their respects to Dictator Return to Ruins.
This culture had persisted for a long time.
It was difficult to track Apostles who were thousands to tens of thousands of years old. This was why newly evolved Apostles all rushed to kneel outside of Dictator Return to Ruins’ palace.
Habits would slowly turn into common practices that slowly changed into laws.
Without Dictator Return to Ruins’ guidance and protection, there was no way they would be able to make a name for themselves in the Polar Sea Large Lake.
Even if they decided not to stay in the Polar Sea Large Lake and went into other lakes to develop, they could still accomplish many things by taking advantage of Dictator Return to Ruins’ name.
Within the castle made of dark blue gems, a man with inky black hair that hung down to his neck was looking down at his fingers.
His aura was elegant, but his eyes were full of gleaming sharpness. This was enough to know that he was not as refined as his countenance made him seem.
Flecks of navy blue in the strands of his hair intertwined with the dark blue light dancing on his fingertips.
The dark blue light on his fingers rose and formed various shapes in the air. The constantly changing shapes indicated that the man was not at peace.
“The light green moon has already risen and fallen 6,000 times. How long it has been! Ever since becoming a Dictator, this is the closest that my faith power has come to reaching the Turning Wheel Realm. I heard that Dictator Everything has already stepped into the Turning Wheel Realm. I should take a look during the Banquet of Everything!”
The Apostles that Return to Ruins had been nurturing for thousands of years were all pinnacle Apostles.
Nonetheless, there was still no second Dictator in the Polar Sea Large Lake.
This showed how venerated and rare Dictators were in the dimensional worlds.
This was also why the Polar Sea Large Lake had been so calm for thousands of years.
In order for an Apostle to transform into a Dictator, the most basic condition was to ensure that their faith was not tied to anyone else.
The master and servant bond in the marsh world was made of faith power. Thus, Dictators could only stand at the top and not be subservient to anyone.
Once an Apostle successfully evolved into a Dictator, it had to become domineering, even if their previous demeanor as an Apostle had been respectful and amiable. This was the fate of Dictators.
Return to Ruins had also changed his attitude when he became a Dictator.
However, it was smart enough to choose to flee. Otherwise, he would already be dead by now, and others would have collected and toyed with his source totem.
Return to Ruins had experience being hunted. He had also killed other Dictators before he arrived at the Polar Sea Large Lake.
The source totem left behind after an Apostle died was useless to Dictators, but the source totem left after a Dictator died could be turned into weapons by other Dictators.
Even with the advantage and having used all of his capabilities, Return to Ruins still suffered heavy injuries when he killed a Dictator.
This was why Return to Ruins Palace had chosen to retreat to the Polar Sea Large Lake to recuperate and build the Return to Ruins Palace.
The chances were very slim for one Dictator to be able to kill another Dictator.
In the marsh world, Dictators were no different from kings.
If a fight truly broke out, it would be difficult for one party to keep another from fleeing if they wanted to.
Thus, despite Dictator Everything being a veteran Dictator, Return to Ruins did not believe that Dictator Everything possessed any source totems left over from dead Dictators.
