Chapter 178 Sorting Out The Newcomers

Name:First Demonic Dragon Author:
"Do you have any idea why we're all here?"

"I heard we're supposed to be meeting the man in charge."

"So the women who saved us aren't the rulers of this place?"

"Apparently not. Supposedly this kingdom belongs to someone they call Vovin."

The four hundred or so refugees from the emperium base had all been gathered in front of the fountain of rebirth.

Suddenly, a starry black portal opened up right in front of the fountain causing all of the onlookers to hold their breath.

Valerie was the first to emerge from the portal, and she immediately caused heads to turn.

Different from her usual appearance of overalls and a simple shirt, Valerie wanted to appear a bit more queenly alongside her husband so she was now in a pure white dress that highlighted her powerful and enchanting figure while making her look nothing short of divine.

'By Asherah...'

'I can't believe it's the same woman.'

'My dick is about to shoot right off my body!'

A moment later, the man they had all been called here to meet stepped through a portal and the eyes that were formerly glued to Valerie moved to Abaddon.

The demon king of lust was wearing black pants with an ornate golden belt. His upper body was covered by a simple sleeveless black shirt that exposed his upper pectorals and tattoos.

His right arm was covered in a disconnected sleeve and instead of his normal black cloak that was made by his daughter, he was now wearing a pure white one that had been gifted to him by two of his wives.

When he asked what kind of beast it was made from, he received only awkward laughs and so decided not to ask any more questions.

'I've never seen someone so infuriatingly perfect in my life!'

'My panties are going to flood at this rate...'

'Dear god! He's so fucking tall!'

Needless to say, Abaddon and Valerie looked like a picture perfect power couple and they had claimed the full attention of these beastmen without even uttering a single word.

"Look at them... They look so noble and regal..."

"I wonder what's going through their minds?"

The two were only mildly aware of all of the attention placed upon them, each of them were swimming in their own sea of thoughts.

'Fuck, I'm feeling a bit self conscious... I usually never wear things like this.' Valerie was not sure if her husband found her choice of outfit to be strange.

Wearing a dress made her feel a bit more out of her comfort zone than she'd anticipated and was eagerly awaiting an opportunity to put her regular clothes back on.

Abaddon on the other hand....

'Who told her to seduce me like this?'

'I want to eat her. I want to eat her right fucking now.'

'I'm going to hide all of her other clothes as soon as we go home.'

Now that he'd seen the glory of Valerie's sexy and muscular body in a dress, he was never going to be able to go back.

While he always found her sexy no matter what she wore, there was something about the way her dress hugged her curves that was downright criminal.

The dragon buried his claws into his palms to stop himself from taking his loving wife right back home and filling her up for hours on end.

With his mind somewhat clear, he became aware of a rather saddening fact.

Abaddon looked toward the outskirts of the group where the demihuman mothers were located.

Normally, women love him.

Regardless of age, sexual orientation, or preference, he is every woman's ideal type and most coveted dream.

In all of his time in Dola, he had yet to run into a single woman other than his mother who was not overcome with perverted desires upon seeing him.

Yet these women in front of him... their minds were so broken that they cared nothing about how handsome he was. To them, he was just another man who could harm them whenever he so chose.

It was an extremely depressing thought and a telltale sign of just how much abuse they'd been through.

With a sigh, he decided it was best if he didn't waste any time.

Valerie stepped forward to make the necessary introductions. "This is my husband Abaddon. He is the sole ruler of this place and it is his army that helped me to save you."

The dragon felt like his wife's introduction was a little much but now was not the time to worry about such trivial matters.

Normally, Abaddon would have taken a more hostile approach with newcomers but since everyone here was totally innocent, he had to step out of his comfort zone and be a bit more gentle.

Coming to a stop in front of the group of shivering older women, Abaddon silently activated seducer's hymn to ensure that his words would reach their fragile minds.

"I know what you've lost. I understand how hard it must've been, but here today I offer you two paths forward."

Abaddon held up his hand and the blood within the fountain began to float upwards into the air around him.

"For those too weary, this water will bring a blissful end. There will be no anguish, no suffering. For those of you that still have a small spark of will, you shall be brought new life."

Even though the eyes of these women had long lost their shine and luster, Abaddon's words caused them to glisten once again.

The children of these women sat back silently, unaware of what was about to happen.

Even though these were supposedly their mothers, they couldn't pick them out even if they wanted to since there were at least ten women from each species.

Therefore they had no real attachment to them one way or another.

One woman appeared to be slightly braver than the rest, a phoenix with dull red feathers and weary green eyes.

"If we live... What will happen to us here?" Her voice was trembling, and she could not lift her head to look Abaddon in the eye but seducer's hymn was making it so that she was no longer too terrified to speak with him.

"If you live then you will become apart of my kingdom and thus, under my protection. Nothing like what you fear will take place."

Abaddon snapped his fingers and another portal opened up with three more individuals emerging from it.

Valerie also came forward to stand beside the individuals that had yet to be introduced.

"These four will help you to pursue whichever path you feel will suit you the most."

Abaddon came to stand beside a seemingly young demon wearing black clothes and a golden mask.

"This is Zheng. Those of you with an interest in infiltration and stealth will be under his supervision. He'll train you well and ensure that you become the best spies and assassins this world has ever seen."

Most of the vampires and even a few of the phoenixes looked at Zheng with curious and sparkling eyes.

Next Abaddon came to stand beside a thin woman with short blond hair and a small tail with a spade tip.

"This is Lusamine. She's a parasite but if you want to join my army and become a capable warrior, there is no one better to teach you than her."

Lusamine spread her red lips into a smile that was not a smile. "My king? Don't you think you're being a bit too mean by calling me a parasite in front of all of these people?"

"No, I do not." Abaddon said while moving on.

A vein bulged in her beautiful forehead and she unconsciously let a bit of her aura seep out, proving to everyone that her dainty and bubbly appearance was no more than a facade.

The warwolves, red skinned oni, and a few other warlike demihumans all stared at Lusamine with eager eyes, and some even held a desire to conquer.

Next, Abaddon came to a stop beside a woman they were already acquainted with.

"You already know my wife Valerie. Those of you with a desire to work with your hands and create, should all come to see her and she'll discuss with you our plans for the future. "

Unsurprisingly, every single dwarf and dwarven hybrid looked at Valerie like she was made of gold.

A look that Abaddon was slightly angered by but he told himself they were merely being passionate to avoid ripping off all of their heads.

Finally, he came to stand beside another woman that most had already seen.

"This is another of my wives, Lisa. I'm aware that there are those among you who are utterly exhausted and wish to lead a slower life. She will help you find fitting jobs in the city and if you have some idea for a business that you wish to open, she will help you get started."

Most of the mothers and the women from daintier races looked at Lisa like she was an absolute saint.

After what they'd experienced, there were a few of them that were worried about jumping from one master to another and were fated to do hard labor until they died.

It was extremely comforting to know that their life here did not have to be on any sort of battlefield or worksite, and if they wanted they were free to do something simple like open a small bakery.

Turning back to the woman who'd originally asked the question, Abaddon could see her staring at his blood like it was the key to new life.

"King Abaddon... May we take the blood as well?" A male ogre suddenly asked.

Even from here he could feel the power coming from that blood and he knew that it would bring him power comparable to evolution.

Abaddon paused momentarily before nodding and drawing more bloody water from the fountain.

In a moment, all of the demihumans present had a bead of blood floating in front of their faces.

The promise of power excited a great many of the new citizens, and his next words only served to entice them even more.

"With this you will be reborn as my people and made indomitable by all under the sun and moon. My blood will ensure that you will always have a home here and nothing like the fates that befell you before will ever come again."

With their minds made up, every one of the 447 refugees from the emperium base opened their mouths to swallow the blood.

When they collapsed, Abaddon was surprised to feel a connection already forming.

He was relieved to know that a great many of them still held the will to live and would survive the transformation.

Though what exactly they would turn into, even he was not certain.
