Chapter 180 Party Time!

Name:First Demonic Dragon Author:
When Abaddon showed up outside with Eris' hand in his, she expected there to be some degree of surprise or maybe a few words of disapproval.

Anyone who had ever interacted with Abaddon for longer than a minute knew that his wives were absolutely insane over him and they did not like to share.

They had even gone so far as to kill more than a few women who had been gazing too disrespectfully for their liking.

So how would they react when their beloved husband and the object of their fanaticism arrived holding another woman's hand?

With all eyes on them, Mira asked the question in everyone's mind.

"Eris mommy?"

When she received two nods of confirmation, the little dragon was positively elated.

Mira rushed forward as a giggling mess to hug her newest mother and the one she'd been waiting on the longest.

Thea followed closely behind her and also embraced her newest mother.

The beautiful dark elf felt tears once again welling up in her golden eyes. In one day she not only had a new husband, but she had children of her own as well.

"I-I'm not sure I'll make a great mother, but I'll do my best!"

Before either of the girls could respond that such serious dedication was unnecessary, Eris was stolen away by five waiting arms.

"Sorry girls but we need to borrow your new mother for a bit." Lailah said with a smile.

"Indeed, she must be properly initiated." Lisa confirmed.

"I-Initiatied??"

Valerie gave Eris a comforting pat on the back. "Don't worry were not going to jump you or anything."

"I-I wasn't worried about such a thing!"

"We just want to ensure that you properly understand your duties as our husband's wife." Bekka said with a mischievous smile.

"L-Like bedroom things?"

"Quite the eager one, aren't we?" Audrina teased. "But no, there is something much more important."

Eris blushed furiously as she was led by all of the wives to a large tree in the backyard where they promptly began their 'initiation.'

'Should I eavesdrop a bit?' Abaddon wondered.

Ultimately he decided against it and went to go play with his children.

Thea, Mira, and Apophis were sitting a fair distance away from the picnic table and getting acquainted with the new pet.

'So this is what was in the egg?'

The large beast looked like the polar opposite definition of cute and cuddly, but Mira and Thea were petting him as if they found him to be absolutely adorable.

When Abaddon approached, the beast glanced at him warily and made a displeased expression.

"Stop it! Don't growl at daddy!" Mira scolded.

It seemed as though the guardian lion obeyed Mira without question because as soon as she confirmed that Abaddon was safe the beast resumed it's neutral expression.

The dragon sat cross legged on the ground next to all of his children and he began petting the beast as well.

"Have you come up with a name for him yet?"

Mira put her little hand to her chin and seemed like she was thinking about this matter very hard.

"What about Talon?" Thea suggested as she looked at the beasts paws that contained massive claws.

"Mira doesn't like that name." She denied.

'Dog?' Apophis suggested.

"He's not a dog!"

The serpent stared hard at the beast that looked exactly like a dog to him.

Abaddon was going to suggest a name of his won when Mira suddenly stood up excitedly.

"I got it!"

"Oh? Let's hear it then."

"Entei!"

Abaddon's brow began to twitch and he stared at his daughter like she was some sort of omnipotent being.

Thea : "I like that name!"

Apophis: 'I still believe dog would have been more fitting, but Entei is not a bad alternative.'

Pleased that her name had been accepted by her siblings, she turned towards her father who was giving her a funny look.

"Does daddy not like the name?"

"...Mira... Are you sure you're not a transmigrator as well?"

"Uwah?"

-

When the maids and butlers walked out carrying the several large platters of food, the party finally got underway.

The family excitedly gathered around the picnic table and everyone began eating and drinking to their heart's content.

Abaddon was sitting comfortably at the head of the table with two of his wives resting in his lap.

Audrina had her head buried in the crook of his neck feasting on his blood while Eris was feeding him delicately.

"You know you do not have to do this, right? I'm perfectly capable of feeding myself."

The dark elf chuckled cutely as she cut her new husband another piece of meat. "I'm doing this because I want to, not because I believe you to be incapable, my love."

Finally, he resigned himself to his fate as another fork was brought to his mouth.

Pop!

The sound of a bottle opening filled the air as Valerie excitedly poured her oldest daughter her first drink.

Lisa : "Don't overdo it, Val."

Lailah : "That's right, she's still a baby so don't give her too much."

"Don't worry girls, this is just a little something to see if she likes the taste." Valerie said as she handed Thea a small glass of what seemed to be ale.

Thea looked around the table to see that everyone was watching her closely to see how she would react to her first drink.

Not wanting to disappoint, Thea hurriedly gulped down the contents of the glass and slammed it down in triumph. "I think it's delicious."

"Oooh!"

"Not bad!"

"Do we have two alcoholics in the family now?"

Thea continued to test her endurance to alcohol, and it seemed as though she could not get drunk.

The witchblade fusing with her body appeared to have given her a very high level of poison resistance.

"Anyone up for a drinking contest?" She suddenly suggested.

Laughter filled the air and one after another, the adults began to challenge their overconfident daughter.

Lailah was defeated after three drinks.

Bekka only lasted five.

Audrina, Eris and Lisa elected to be a bit more responsible and did not participate.

Just as Valerie was about to accept the challenge, someone else beat her to it.

"I'll do it." Abaddon suddenly said.

Thea smiled cockily and stuck out her new chest with pride. "Your defeat is imminent, father!"

"I'm glad to see that my daughter is so confident." The dragon replied with a smile.

He was elated to see Thea developing such a fun-loving personality.

She always seemed to be a bit restrained in her behavior before, as if she believed that she had to behave a certain way to be accepted by her family.

It was nice to see her smiling so brightly without the fear of being discarded.

Abaddon and Thea began their drinking contest and the results were as unbelievable as one would have expected.

Ten drinks.

Twenty.

Thirty.

The contest went on for so long that they eventually ran out of liquor, leaving neither of them drunk and their family slightly impressed.

Mira : "Daddy is an alcoholic too!"

Apophis : 'Agreed.'

Lailah : "Kids, your father is not an alcoholic. His body is just highly resistant to alcohol."

Suddenly, it was as if a lightbulb had gone off in Valerie's head.

Reaching into her storage ring, she pulled out a large ornate glass bottle. "I was saving this for a really special occasion and it would seem like this is it!" She said excitedly.

As soon as Valerie uncorked the bottle, Abaddon knew exactly what was inside.

'Dwarven whiskey...'

The smell was so strong that it burnt the hair in his nose, and Thea looked to be facing similar effects.

Dwarven whiskey was famous for being able to get races with stronger body constitutions extremely drunk.

It even worked on dragons.

Abaddon became slightly concerned. Even if this was a fun game, he did not want his young daughter to get sick. "My wife, I don't know if..."

"Is father going to chicken out?" Thea asked mockingly.

A series of oohs and chicken noises resounded from the family around the table.

Suddenly, he forgot all about his concern and his only goal became to teach his cocky daughter a lesson.

Valerie poured the whisky into the glass and both father and daughter eagerly accepted.

"Alright, this ones for all the marbles, let the drinking begin!"

Two drinks later.

Even when Abaddon was literally breathing fire, his chest did not feel as hot as it did now.

Evidently Thea seemed to be feeling some effects as well and her formally creamy white cheeks were now a faint shade of pink.

But because neither of them had given up yet, they allowed Valerie to pour them another drink.

Three drinks later.

Abaddon was now clearly buzzed, and he had actually ended up telling his daughter stories about his past. "... And then they shoved my tray in my face and I had to start eating lunch in the bathroom!"

Thea appeared to be in the same state as her father, only her cheeks were now red from anger and intoxication. "T-That's awful! Humans from earth are truly too cruel!"

"Indeed! If I ever return to that world I'll blow it all to hell!"

"Yea!"

Four drinks later.

Abaddon's speech was now noticeably slurred and he was even a bit wobbly. "T-Thea, listen to me... I don't want you to use that armor of yours so casually!"

"Eh? B-but it looks so cool though!"

"I-It's too provocative! I will have to pluck out the eyes of every man who looks at you strangely!" He did not want any random man coming up to seduce his sweet daughter!

"Don't worry, don't worry!" Thea said as she patted her father's back in consolidation. "If they are rude I shall punish them myself!"

Five drinks later.

Abaddon : dbha ap rbusbghs! A bsw la dnfhnne! (Give up, daughter! I will never be defeated!)

Thea : nsjspa pnes! I ske plws uawh peakensd! ( Lies! I can smell your weakness!)

As both competitors muttered gibberish that only another drunk could understand, Thea's body finally lost it's balance and she fell back onto the ground.

The dragon would have celebrated his great victory, had he not joined her asleep on the grass a moment later.

"Who won?" Mira asked.

"Pffft... I'd say we did." Bekka said as she suppressed her giggles.

As if that was the spark that was needed, everyone burst out laughing over the antics of father and daughter.

Surprisingly, Eris was the one laughing the hardest.

She never could have imagined that her first night as a part of this family would be so silly!

As Apophis watched his family laugh over something he did not understand, he finally had a profound realization about what he was missing.

The laughter of the group suddenly cut out as the serpent began to glow with a blinding white light.
