[Skill: Gravity Manipulation, activated.
Abaddon immediately felt his body become lighter and faster as the gravity around him lessened considerably.
He had never tried this before, but it seemed as though his manipulation of gravity could be utilized in more ways than he'd originally thought.
Bang!
Abaddon whipped out his muscular arm at a speed faster than lightning and punched Jasper's head clean off his body.
The vampire's head grew back and he regained consciousness a moment later, only to see nothing but the aurora lights above him as he lay flat on his back.
'Did I just...'
'That's impossible.'
'What the hell did he do?'
Jasper hadn't even seen what Abaddon had done.
In one moment, he was simply circling his body looking for an opening, and in the next moment he was sprawled out on the ground.
Before he could recover back to his feet, Abaddon appeared directly above him and placed a large clawed foot on his chest.
'What the fuck?! He's so heavy!'
Jasper felt like the weight of the world had suddenly come down upon his body.
Abaddon wasn't a frail man by any means, but there was no way that he should posses this much pressure in this form.
Realizing he couldn't escape through brute force, the vampire lord instead grabbed his weapon and tried to cut right through Abaddon's leg.
Tink!
The sound of metal striking something hard could be heard throughout the dark space, and Jasper realized that Abaddon had coated his legs in dark black scales the likes of which even he could not pierce.
At least, not like this.
Just as Jasper began to channel mana into his sickles for a much more devastating attack, Abaddon summoned blades of black ice from the ground.
The ice easily cut through the arms of the vampire, and froze his body at the stump to prevent any sort of regeneration.
Jasper smiled madly when he realized he'd been thoroughly cornered.
"Good, Good! You're a lot better than I expected!"
"Shut the fuck up."
Abaddon held out his hand and a spear made out of bright blue fire.
The combination of his signature infernal flames as well as the soul seraing flame would ensure Jasper's complete destruction, body and soul.
Just as Abaddon prepared to pierce the head of another challenger, Jasper changed his body into a dark mist and narrowly avoided his untimely death.
The vampire reappeared a few feet away but he looked... horrifying.
Smiling eerily at Abaddon was a monstrous creature that was the perfect union between man and bat.
He had grown to a staggering height of seven feet tall, and his entire body was covered in dark black fur.
His once handsome face was now distorted with monstrous bat-like features and dark beady eyes.
His arms that had been frozen had grown back, and now they had giant fleshy wings attached.
"I didn't want to end this quite so soon! You should consider yourself worthy, beast!"
Jasper shot forward at a speed that was more than double his original.
In this form, he could finally close the gap between their stats and deliver his opponent a humiliating defeat.
Jasper appeared before Abaddon in the blink of an eye and threw out a monstrous furry fist.
The wind pressure alone was capable of destroying a building, and onlookers were sure that this was one attack that Abaddon would not be walking away from unscathed.
BOOOOOMM!
The sound that followed when Jasper's blow landed was like that of a bomb and was enough to cause the ears of a mortal man to bleed.
"What... the hell..?"
"This is a dream... it has to be!"
"That's not possible..."
The scene that caused the jaws of these ancient vampires to hit the floor was none other than Abaddon, holding the fist of his opponent without budging an inch.
Finally, Jasper showed some sign of loosing his nerve.
He had put his all into that punch just now, but not only was Abaddon undamaged, he had caught it as well.
Abaddon had somehow grown even stronger than before and the grip he held on Jasper's fist was solid and unshakable.
"You dared to covet my beloved bride with only this level of strength...?"
Abaddon placed two of his arms on Jasper's midsection before tightening the grip he had on his arm.
"You are pathetic."
The sickening sound of flesh ripping could be heard as Abaddon tore Jasper's arm clean off his body.
Jasper would have cried out, but having his arm ripped off didn't hurt nearly as bad as the taunt that was just thrown his way.
"Do you believe you are fit to brag?! Audrina is obviously helping you inside this space by feeding you her power!"
This was the only logical conclusion that Jasper could think of.
How else was Abaddon continuously getting stronger every time they clashed?!
"Blaming your incompetence on foul play? How spineless."
The dragon took his last free arm and punched through Jasper's stomach before wrapping his hand around his elongated spine.
"Well what do you know? I guess I was wrong."
The vampire lord coughed up a mouthful of blood as his transformation was undone.
He would have changed into mist again to escape but with Abaddon's hand still inside of his stomach, he had no hope of doing so.
Jasper showed a bloody smile when he realized his defeat was already a reality.
"Vampire king, huh? Maybe you might-"
Boom!
Abaddon cut Jasper's speech short with another devastating blast from his third eye.
Oddly enough, Abaddon's beam had a necrotic effect that seemed to be inhibiting his regeneration.
'Just as well, I had grown tired of hearing you talk...'
He had no need to hear the last words of a man he didn't even respect, nor did he need his approval for his ascendance to the throne.
Abaddon had won, just as he had always known he would.
However, that didn't mean his rage had been sated completely just yet.
Abaddon suddenly threw Jasper's body high into the air.
Everyone present watched as he suddenly changed into a massive two headed dragon and swallowed his opponent without leaving a trace.
[ A worthy heart has been consumed!
[ + 4,000 all stats!
[ Because the user is already in possession of the lightning element, a random lottery draw will be provided instead.
The dragon barely payed attention to the words of the system that were playing within his mind.
His only focus was on the sniveling vampires who were trembling at the sight of his monstrous true appearance.
No longer in the mood for challenges, Abaddon decided to wipe out all of the remaining vampire lords at the same time.
With a devastating roar, Abaddon lunged at the kneeling vampires who had already lost their desire to oppose him.
The men had already fallen to their knees and the women were right beside them as sobbing messes.
Abaddon reached them in an instant and gulped down two of the vampire lords with each head.
Just as he was about to make a meal of the rest of them, Audrina appeared right on top of his large snout.
"Easy now, my love. Can't you see that they no longer wish to challenge your reign?"
When the remaining vampire lords saw that Audrina was trying to extend them a lifeline, they all prostrated in front of the horrifying dragon.
"W-We're sorry!"
"I-I swear that I will never oppose your rule!"
"Please... spare me..."
The begging of these vampires was not particularly moving, however Abaddon grasped exactly what it was that Audrina was trying to help him understand.
Eating these beings when they'd already submitted would ultimately benefit him very little.
To kill these very influential beings here would not only be wasteful, but it would also make his rule function less smoothly.
The energy he would expend trying to replace these ancient vampires could be better utilized in other areas that required his full attention.
"...Indeed they have." He muttered.
He returned to his normal appearance with Audrina clinging tightly to his back.
"You did well...I'm quite proud of you." She whispered.
The dragon nuzzled his head against hers before turning his attention towards the six remaining vampire lords and his sister in law.
"Are there any more objections?"
Needless to say, the only answer he received was a resounding no from each of them.
However there was one among them who held up a shaky hand to ask the question that had been on her mind since the beginning.
Kirina had watched Abaddon's every move without blinking.
He was powerful and ferocious, yet he also showed that he was not beyond reason and was often so calm that it bordered on aloofness.
There was just one thing that she couldn't figure out.
"What will you do now that you have become king?"
Abaddon's pursuit of the throne came off as rather strange to her.
He was pursuing it fiercely, and he obviously cared about doing right by his wife's homeland, but there was something unnatural about it.
It almost seemed as if the throne was merely a means to an end for him.
Which begged the question, what were this man's real goals and what would become of their home now that he was left without anyone to oppose him?
If Kirina didn't like his answer, she would challenge him next.
As a fifth stage evolved, she was leagues above everyone here except for Audrina and was confident in her ability to put Abaddon down.
Though the battle would more than likely be a bit lengthy.
Abaddon thought hard about what was the most applicable answer.
"I will combine this nation with my own, and create lands that are superior to even Antares."
You would think that Abaddon had just told them that he was going to burp up a pile of gold bricks.
That was how inconceivable they believed his words to be.
The blank stares he was receiving made him realize these people had absolutely no faith in his words or his dream.
Lucky for them, Abaddon knew just how to show them that they were a very attainable reality.
He snapped his fingers and a starry black portal opened up behind him.
"Come along. I will show you all a glimpse into the future that I envision."
