Chapter 378 The Superior Monarch
Samyaza was still trying to wrestle with the fear that he felt as Asherah appeared in front of him.
While most saw her as the gentle and serene wife of god, he alone saw her as something different.
An endless an inescapable black hole of pure divine power.
As a result, it was understandable that he had yet to fix his face or wrap his head around her words.
"W-Wager..? I-I don't-"
"I think this may possibly be the most insulted I have ever been. You are closer to pissing yourself in front of her than you were in front of me."
Abaddon leaned against the wall and placed his hands into his pockets while making a thoughtful expression.
"Am I not frightening enough...? All of my previous enemies seemed to think so..."
"Tathamet, you are a being who is better at eliciting lust and desire than fear. You need not take any offense to his behavior." Asherah explained.
"Yes yes..." Truthfully, Abaddon didn't really care about eliciting feelings of desire from anyone other than his wives.
Sometimes it was annoying when more of your enemies wanted to sleep with you than fight you.
"W-What... is this wager?" Samyaza finally asked.
Asherah held out her hands and opened her palms towards the archangel and the dragon.
"Abaddon has proposed a wager with me in exchange for some information that he covets very highly. The contest is simple, the nephilim versus his newest created line of dragons. Which of you is worthy of subjugating the other?"
"A simple slugfest..? I don't know what I have to gain from engaging in such barbarity."
"In addition, the winner of this contest will not only receive dominion of all of the souls in the losing party's army, they will also have the very privileged opportunity to choose your starting position on the earth during the end war, kicking another faction from their hallowed grounds."
"T-Truly..!?"
Samyaza's surprise was entirely understandable.
The advantage of being able to pick your stronghold was one that simply could not be overlooked.
Access to those grounds would give those who built their strongholds atop it access to a surplus of ancestral energy, invigorating those who lived on them by leaps and bounds.
The stronger the faith of those humans who had lived there, the greater the benefits would be.
To make matters even better, the ones who actually were supposed to live there would not have access to any ancestral temples or magic, severely weakening them and cutting their chances of victory to pieces.
This wager was so great that Samyaza almost couldn't believe he was being offered to take part in it.
And when he thought of the fact that he would have dominion over an entire race of dragon souls... he agreed without much more thought.
"I agree.. But how is this wager to take place? My nephilim are not yet-"
"I will be the one to set the stage for this confrontation." Asherah explained. "Your forces will be called 10,000 years from now, on this very day, on this very hour."
Turning to Abaddon, she gave him the most unfair stipulation that he had ever heard in his life.
"And you, Tathamet... You and your army will be called ten days from now."
Abaddon felt his brow twitch as his lips curled into a wry smile. "Now Asherah... I might begin to believe you are rooting for me to lose."
"In addition..."
"Oh come on."
Asherah ignored Abaddon's grumbling and continued to dole out stipulations.
"This will not be a contest between the two of you, so you must select representatives to lead your forces on your behalf. You are free to choose more than one, but you may not select more than three."
By now, Abaddon was ready to cry out from indignation.
The whole reason he was doing this was because he wanted to be able to kill Samyaza!
"Are you dissatisfied?" Asherah asked.
"I think you know the answer to that."
"You must make do. I am helping to organize a contest that normally would not have taken place for several more millennia. I believe that means I am deserving of some gratitude, no?"
"...Indeed you are."
"I'm glad that you see that. Besides, it is not as though you two will have no chance to butt heads. If either of you intervenes in the contest for any reason, then your opponent is free to engage you as well.
However, the first to break the rules of the observation will notice that their abilities will have been forcibly suppressed to a degree, so it is advised that you play honorably, lest you give your opponent a crucial opening."
Abaddon and Samyaza's eyes met in midair, and it was easy to tell which of them was feeling the most openly confident in their victory.
"This contest is Monarch versus Monarch, species against species. Whoever loses this clash is doomed to serve as the eternal slaves to the other.
Samyaza of the Grigori, Maker of the Nephilim, I ask you, do you accept the terms?"
"Of course I do." he said with an arrogant smile.
Tathamet of the Transcendent Dragons, Father of Monsters & Inhumans, I ask you, do you accept the terms?"
"Indeed."
"Then the wager has been struck, and may the odds of victory be kind to you both."
-
"You use my blessing well! Don't lose focus now, your instincts are still new to you!"
"Y-Yes, sister!"
"Fufufu~ Our youngest is so cute."
Back in Sheol, Tatiana and Seras were within the training hall beneath the castle, going over some basic movements and strategies for combat.
Because every dragon in Sheol already knew how to use every weapon without any training, as of now the two of them were working on sharpening Tatiana's actual battle iq and hand to hand combat skills.
Perhaps it was because of her water affinity, but Tatiana's body naturally excelled when it came to making quick and fluid motions that contained great force in every strike.
Tatiana threw a spinning heel kick directly at Seras' jaw that was caught with ease.
"Good! But don't do things like this unless you have to. Attacks that come from within the air like this take longer to-"
"Hiya!"
Suddenly Tatiana lifted up her other leg to catch Seras in the jaw, but unfortunately this one was caught just as easily as the first.
With no more legs to stand on, Tatiana comedically fell back onto the ground, and her head bounced off the floor like a basketball.
"Ow..."
Looking up, she found Seras standing above her smiling as she held her legs.
"A bit eager to improve, are we?"
"...Maybe just a tad." She admitted.
Seras laughed beautifully, her voice sounding like the most melodic song.
"Don't rush! It takes time to learn these things properly, and the most important thing for you now is to establish good habits before anything. No one who shares a bed with us is going to let you step onto a battlefield unprepared."
"I get it.... Can you put my legs down now?" Tatiana said with a small blush.
"Don't feel embarrassed, I've known you didn't have panties on for a while now."
"Y-You wouldn't if you let me change before we did this!"
"It would have been a waste of time since I already saw everything that you have and you should get used to fighting uncomfortably."
"I-I'm still a bit embarrassed though.." Tatiana meekly tried to pull her skirt down and Seras raised a brow.
"Are you aware that the version of you we get at night and the version of you we see in the day are two very different women?
"S-Shut up!"
Tatiana was 100% not in control of herself when the nighttime rolled around!
Anything that she said, did, or licked wile in the arms of her husband was totally due to the euphoric and drunk feeling that came from sleeping with him!
That was the whole truth and it was a hill she was willing to die upon!
Seras rolled her eyes as she finally put Tatiana's legs down. "Would you like to see mine to make us even?"
"I... okay."
Seras pulled her tights down just enough for Audrina to get a good look at her bare womanhood with rosy pink lips and a small patch of white air atop it.
"I am really glad I decided to come here first..."
The girls both looked at the corner of the room were Abaddon was walking towards them wearing a small smile and a lustful look.
"Husband!"
"You're back!"
As always, both girls came running towards Abaddon at full speed and lunged into his arms like he hadn't been seen by them in years.
"So? How did it go?" Tatiana asked.
"You haven't returned home bloody.. Does this mean that we will be going to war within a couple of days then?" Seras asked.
Abaddon smiled and kissed her on the lips and cheek before doing the same to Tatiana.
"How do you know there is no blood on me? Have you checked?"
He meant it as a joke 100%.
He was never expecting for Seras to place lips directly on the center of his chest and licked him from his sternum all the way to the right side of his neck.
"Nope, none on you in the slightest. Your skin tastes delicious though... Your new body is addictive in more ways than one."
Abaddon tried his best to control his breathing as he fought to shake that pleasurable feeling from his brain.
"You..."
"Tati, will you check the other side for me?"
"Yes~..."
Thought Tatiana was a bit shorter than the 6'4 Seras, she had no problem reaching Abaddon's chest and neck if she floated a bit.
Soon Abaddon looked like he was being bitten by two vampires as both girls buried their heads in the crook of his neck while biting and sucking on his skin.
"Girls... you may want to stop this. If you continue to provoke me like this you may end up pregnant."
""We're fine with that.""
Abaddon chuckled wryly as he relished in the feeling of their teasing.
The longer it went on, he began to have more of a hard time remembering why he hadn't had sex for so long in the first place.
Seras and Tatiana were certainly doing their best to make sure that he had significantly less room in his pants than a second ago, and he was about to discard them entirely. nOVe)lB.1n
Audrina: 'G-Guys, I think it's happening, it seems like the baby wants to come out a day early!'
As quickly as it formed, the sexual tension within the room evaporated.
'Oh right... that's why I have been abstaining.'
