Chapter 495 The True Uma-Sarru : Pt.1
The Abyss is a black, lawless land.
There exist no meaningful prayers to be said, and no modicum of comforts or accommodations for those that dwell there.
The abyss walkers know only the fight, and they spend their entire existence in constant combat and struggle with each other to survive.
Day in, and day out.
There exist only one structure within the entire domain; no matter how far and wide that one might look.
A single spiraling cathedral that twists into the sky and pierces it like a corroded needle.
All abyss dwellers, no matter how feral, know to stay away from this place.
This is where their ruler dwells.
Right now, Yaldabaoth sits upon his throne, completely shirtless and seemingly in a vulnerable position.Updated from novelb(i)n.c(o)m
Behind him, one of his seven generals, Kaliah, tends to the unhealed wounds on his back.
They looked somewhat like whip marks from some sort of scorching hot weapon, and there were so many of them that it was clear that whoever had left them there was quite the sadistic individual.
Karliah's burning orange eyes raked over the wounds on her Overlord's back.
Before she knew what was happening, a hand forcefully grabbed her by the face and slammed her head into the black stone wall.
"Looking at me like I'm prey, you filthy beast..?" he spat. "Lucifer would have to permanently cut off my arms, legs, and ears before I could be felled by something pathetic like you."
Yaldabaoth grabbed her forcefully by the horn before flinging her halfway across the room.
Her large muscular body hit the floor so hard that she cracked the million year old material.
Karliah got up slowly while keeping her head down as a show of submission, and it was clear that?she had been rattled.
"My apologies, lord. I was overzealous and await my punishment."
Yaldabaoth grabbed Karliah forcefully by the back of the head once again, and forced her onto her back.
He placed his knee directly on top of her neck like she was a wild animal before breaking off one of her demonic horns.
He brought the pointed end towards her face and an impossibly sinister light began to show up in his eyes.
Karliah waited for her face to receive markings similar to the ones on his back, but the pain never came.
Instead, her ruler suddenly paused and stared up into the sky, with clear disbelief on his face.
"So they have come... he's already grown to the point where he can move between the realms... how frightening." Despite his words, there was a large smile on Yaldabaoth's face.
After all, the stronger Abaddon was, the stronger that he would be after eating him.
He never thought for even a single moment about any consequences or even the possibility of him being defeated.
There was only his innate, limitless desire to chase after his grandest goal of becoming this reality's true god.
"Do I.. have permission to greet them..?"?Karliah dared to ask.
Yaldabaoth looked down at the powerful, yet pitiful woman underneath his knee and scowled.
Effectively, abyss spawn are like dogs.
It is in their nature to leap at opportunities to assert their dominance, so he wasn't quite too upset with her for looking for an opening earlier.
He removed his knee from her neck and gave her body a hard kick that sent her skidding toward the doors.
At that moment, six more individuals came bursting in to the throne room.
The journey to the bottom of existence took more time than they would have thought.
Much more.
And yet, even after their lengthy impromptu road trip, they never once lost sight of their goal or had their burning spirit dwindle.
While the two walked towards their destination with the 18:27
world burning all around them, they suddenly felt a change occur within the air.
Stopping on a dime, they waited and waited to see the source of their unease, but eventually grew bored of doing so.
Bekka: "Were you hoping to frighten us..? I'm afraid you need to put in more effort for that, mother."
Suddenly, a woman stepped out of the burning smoke and debris while accompanied by six others.
Karliah folded her arms across her generous chest and tilted her head in confusion.
"I'm sorry... do I know you? You certainly sound like my little monkey bear, but I don't believe I've ever seen you before."
Ayaana temporarily shapeshifted into Bekka's body, and then right back to normal.
Bekka: "I've long outgrown the stage of my life where I have the need of frivolous nicknames, mother. You missed out on that point."
This admittedly put something of a sad smile on Karliah's face, something nothing that none of the other generals had seen before.
"Ah... that's right, I did. You have my apologies for that."
It was easy to see that Bekka certainly wasn't expecting to get an apology; not on today and not under these circumstances.
"Then if you feel so badly... stand aside and surrender. Yaldabaoth himself is the only one who need burn today."
At this, Karliah smiled helplessly.
"I'll forgive you for that since we haven't gotten very much time to get to know each other. But your mother is not a woman who shies away from her responsibilities or surrenders in battle. Do not discrace me by assuming so again."
Karliah held out her hands and her powerful arms were covered in an ominous dark power that made her already hair raising pressure even more stupefying.
Bekka clenched her jaw together as she held out her hands and drew two weapons into them.
One was a large spear with a head made from crystallized dragon blood.
The other was a silver and black shield in the form of a circle; with a roaring demon in the center.
Bekka: 'My loves.. my family... I know it might be odd of meet ask this, but-'
Lailah: 'We will take her alive, don't worry.'
Audrina: 'It's quite unlike you to ask for anything that is not food. We are happy to comply.'
Abaddon : 'Just do not let your guard down. You know very little about this woman, my darling. Be ready for anything.'
Feeling comforted, but not naive, the girls readied themselves for an inevitable clash.
Abaddon finally separated from them, and continued his walk on his own without even bothering to move around the seven abyssal generals.
"Move." He demanded quietly.
Karliah developed a look on her face that was born of arousal and a deep subconscious need.
"I saw you in visions, but... you really are more delicious in person, aren't you my precious Son. In. Law?" She said teasingly.
A vein bulged in Ayana's pretty faced as they gripped their spear and shield hard enough to break them.
Bekka : 'Nevermind, we're killing this bitch!'
