Chapter 540 This is...Unexpected

"So Abaddon basically destroyed his body and soul, but somehow survived and repaired his sparky thingy, and now he is supposed to be inside that egg thing?"

"Yes."

"Alright... But why are we here?" Darius asked.

"You all are here to remind us that we love him and that we should not murder him in cold blood."

Darius, Karliah, Sei, Yara, Imani, Asmodeus, Hajun & Kirina, and Lusamine all looked at Ayaana and shuddered.

Never before had they seen the empresses quite this mad before.

Their arms were folded across their chest as they glared at the large black egg that was pulsing with energy.

Asmodeus patted them on the shoulder and gave them a small reassuring smile.

"Try not to be too upset with the big idiot. He's only being foolish when he's trying to make better lives for you and the kids."

Ayana's face softened, but only by a little bit.

"He has no idea what it's like... to feel him suddenly vanish and slip through our fingertips is such an indescribable hell...

He is our everything, and we just... want him to treat his life as if it is as valuable as our own. He can be so reckless sometimes..."

While Asmodeus tried to assuage his daughters-in-law, Gabbrielle was standing off to the side with the creators and having a quiet discussion.

"I still don't understand how you can have no idea at all how this was possible. Couldn't you see it?"

Yesh and Asherah shook their heads.

"We sealed sway our omnipotence long ago, child. You know this already."

'But even if we hadn't... I doubt we could truly see his actions in their entirety.'

"How can that be??" Gabbrielle wondered.

Yesh glanced at the egg that was still sitting behind the impenetrable spacial barrier.

Just looking at it made it seem like it was fine and dandy, but those with a sort of heightened awareness could see.

The area around it was pitch black, like staring into true nothingness.

Even he couldn't see or predict what the egg would do, or was about to do. n0ve(l)bi(n.)co/m

It was the blind spot of even the most supreme of beings.

The only explanation for this, was that Abaddon had somehow gotten hold of a power that went outside of this existence.

And THAT is what had the three of them so stumped.

"Nevermind that for now." Gabbrielle muttered as she rubbed her temples. "Has he really stolen it..? You can't feel it's connection at all?"

'Only barely.' Yesh confessed. 'The influence I once had over it is... no more.'

Gabbrielle was on the verge of pulling out her hair by the root. "Wonderful... Anything else you are missing?"

"..."

"...You're joking. What??"

"...The Garden."

At this, Gabbrielle finally couldn't take it anymore and let her mouth fall open from shock.

"Are you telling me... that my father not only stole Heaven itself, but the Garden of Eden along with it...?"

"No, not quite..." Asherah muttered.

"Then what?! This is no time for games, my body is too young to have high blood pressure!"

Asherah fumbled around with her words a bit in a rare moment of uncertainty.

"We suspect that... your father may have... become like you."

"Then... that would make him a-"

*crack.*

That single, solitary noise drew all of the attention of everyone in the clearing.

The low chattering cut out instantly and everyone stared at the egg in wonder.

A small crack no bigger than a hair strand had opened up on the top, and from it a resplendent multicolored light could be seen shining from within.

All of them were a heavenly gold with black sclera, and they seemed to contain an unnatural depth of wisdom and power.

"Nugh.."

Baby Abaddon made an agitated noise as he rubbed his face and two of his eyes closed up and disappeared from view.

He looked around like he was trying to get used to his new extraordinary vision, but ran into another problem when he didn't seem to be able to keep his head up due to his large horns.

Behind the dragon's little back spun a magical apparatus.

It was an ominous ghostly wheel with varying zodiac signs inscribed and several different runes.

"Is that... Fortuna's wheel of fate...?" Gabbrielle asked.

"THAT'S your question?!" Ayaana cried.

"Yes. I already know almost everything else, but that is quite a surprise."

"Well fill the rest of us in, would you lass?" Darius asked as he scratched his head.

Yesh went over to Abaddon and picked him up without hesitation.

'He has achieved true concept embodiment...The same as Primordial gods.'

"I-I... what does that mean..?" Ayaana asked while trying to hide her nerves.

Asherah tried to stop Abaddon from sticking his hands underneath her veil as she tried to think of the best way to explain.

"When Abaddon fused his divinities into the fabled spark to repair it, he seems to have created entirely new divinities from their union.

The birth of these new divinities, paired with the energy outburst that destroyed his body seems to have forced him into the metaphysical realm.

Therefore, he has become the new consciousness of the concepts resulting from his fusions."

"...What's all that mean?" Lusamine and Darius were still very confused.

Asherah sighed.

"In the same way that Nyx is literally the night and Gabbrielle was once infinity, Abaddon is quite literally Sex & Sexuality, Conquest, The Supernatural, The Cosmos, Heaven... and Oblivion."

"Heaven?" Asmodeus asked as he raised a brow. "Does that mean.."

"Yes, just like every conceivable underworld is Tartarus; biblical heaven, and Eden, are Abaddon. I can feel them both, resting right here in his little booter belly." She smiled.

Asherah tickled Abaddon's stomach and he fell into a giggling fit.

An arrow seemed to shoot right through Yara and Imani's hearts and they both rushed to hold the baby Abaddon for himself.

Meanwhile, Ayaana was still trying to wrap all of their minds around this turn of events.

"S-So.. our husband is..?"

"Father is fine." Gabbrielle comforted. "This is what happens when Primordials awaken from forced slumber.

He'll be grown again in no time, since his memories will come back after roughly ten days or less."

This seemed to be all Ayaana really needed to calm down, and she let out a sweet exhale of relief.

"So... our husband is a primordial now?"

"Kinda? He fits the description, but since he was not a god born from the Big Bang, he doesn't quite qualify.

But that is really more of a trivial stipulation. He is nearly the same as them in every other way that matters."

Ayaana stared at her husband with a bit of a wry smile.

"Congratulations, honey... we are so very proud of you... but we're still mad."

Abaddon was in the middle of playing with Imani's braids when he suddenly saw Ayaana, and all three of his eyes widened as he stared at her in utter wonder.

"...Okay, we're a little less mad."

Seras: 'I-I just realized something!'

Lailah: 'Eh?'

'This is basically a do-over! Once he hits puberty again, we can all be the ones to take his virginity!'

Within the girls' inner mind, they all began to scream as they excitedly pictured the racy scenario.

Meanwhile, Lusamine finally wiped away her surprise as she approached Abaddon with her camera app already pulled up.

"Big guy, you're probably going to be real mad when you get all of your memories back, but it will definitely be worth the ass kicking...! I can't wait to tell Belloc!"
