'Haaah...I thought it would fetch a high price but it seems like this crystal is pretty common' Shye thought to himself and sighed as he walked through the dark hallways of the unknown labyrinth.
He had been walking for an hour now and he hadn't encountered any monsters yet. Although there were a few traps, they were nothing he couldn't handle.
Unfortunately, peaceful times were bound to end as Shye heard some noises on the next left turn.
*WAAARF* *WAAARF*
He quickly stuck close to the walls as he slowly peeked out from the corner.
'What are those?' Shye's brows furrowed after seeing three dog-like creatures standing on two legs while holding different weapons.
They were also equipped with what seemed like makeshift leather armor.
Naturally, Shye used [Appraisal Lv.2] to check out the creatures' status.

[Name]: Kobold Militia
[Creature Rank] : D
'Let's see...Kobold militias...Ah! There we go'
Shye accepted the regular quest to hunt three kobold militias for 700 points. He was currently low on points since he just pumped everything into the vitality attribute
These 700 points might mean life or death for him since he had no other way to procure supplies than to purchase them from the system.
He didn't know if old man Sanada designed it that way but it was really inefficient to purchase weapons and supplies in the system.
Not only were the weapons and supplies common, but after doing a few calculations, the prices of the said items were at least two and a half times more expensive than if you purchased them from the shops.
It seems that old man Sanada wanted the user of the system to procure his/her own weapons and supplies before adventuring.
It made sense though because he would be nothing but an irresponsible adventurer if he could just get everything from the system, thus, he didn't dare blame the old man for the current design.
Heck, he doesn't even have the right to blame him since he felt that he was already very lucky after being chosen by the old man.
He had to be careful and strategic in using his remaining points since a misuse might be equivalent to his death in this dark and unfamiliar labyrinth.
After waiting for around three hours, a kobold finally fell asleep. Since one of the kobolds was roasting some meat from who knows where, Shye decided to strike.
*SPURT*
He used [Rush Stab Lv.2] to instantly stab the sleeping kobold who was startled awake as its blood spurted out from its neck in alarming volumes.
'Tch, that wasn't enough to instantly kill it?!' Shye clicked his tongue and immediately used another skill, [Destructive Chop Lv.3] to make sure that the sleeping kobold would die.
*WAAAARF!* *WAAAARRRF*
Although he felt that it was a waste to use another precious skill to finish off the sleeping kobold, it would be too much of a disaster if he didn't manage to do so.
A skill would come off cooldown but a dead kobold wouldn't resurrect.
The two remaining kobolds wanted to save their comrade but unfortunately, they were too late. Their comrade had already been split in half by Shye's [Destructive Chop Lv.3].
Shye hoped that one of them, or both if possible, would charge at him out of anger, but reality slapped him hard.
'Tch...They wouldn't recklessly charge out of anger huh?' He hoped to take out a reckless and angry one by surprise but it seems that these two immediately determined that he was a dangerous opponent so they decided to team up instead.
Still, Shye was pretty satisfied.
This was his initial plan anyway and he felt lucky about the fact that although the kobolds were smart, powerful, and speedy, they didn't have tough bodies so his burst-type fighting style gave him a pretty decent chance of winning even though the battle was two on one.
