Chapter 184: Kiin In Trouble

The high-intensity clash right off the bat naturally stunned the crowd, compelling them to cheer their lungs out as two opposing parties stared menacingly at each other.

"Hoh? I must admit, you lowlives are quite slippery..." Finn said before whispering something in Lev's ears. "Well then, let's see how long you can keep this up.

After a short break to catch their breaths, Finn and Lev ferociously charged towards the ranged duo from Colzen.

All of their gap-closer and repositioning skills were still on cooldown so they had no choice but to try their best to close the gap through normal means.

Naturally, it wasn't easy to reach Kiin and Harry using such a straightforward attack pattern.

They had to duck, sidestep, and run in a zigzag before they were able to successfully close the distance.

Lev even suffered a few burns from Harry's fireballs.

However, as they arrived within striking distance, the ground suddenly rumbled.

*ROAR*

A strange mystical roar reverberated in the entire arena as a three-meter-tall rock golem suddenly emerged from the main stage.

It then looked around and upon spotting the two Eusford representatives, the golem roared once more before it started slamming its fists onto Finn and Lev.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

With gigantic earthen fists trying to find their way toward their flesh, the two Eusford representatives had no choice but to drop their attacks and let the two Colzen representatives create distance, jumping backward and backpedaling continuously as the shockingly fast fists of stone caused utter destruction on their previous locations.

To make things worse, projectiles such as mana arrows and elemental spells shot straight towards them.

Being a scout, Finn was nimble, allowing him to dodge the fists along with the projectiles but Lev wasn't so lucky.

He wasn't as agile as Finn so he was struck by a few arrows and fireballs, though, it didn't look like he was hurt much.

With how things were progressing, it was pretty evident that the Colzen duo was winning.

Initially, those who were rooting for Colzen were a bit worried since the two representatives they sent out were both ranged attackers, meaning that there was no front liner to protect them.

However, as if the attack was engraved into every bit of their being, the Colzen representatives reacted accordingly.

Kiin, realizing that he was targeted, quickly used one of his repositioning skills [Swallow Step Lv.4] to once again increase the distance between him and Finn.

Naturally, since the two Eusford representatives were in range, the huge golem once again moved and madly darted towards Lev who then disappeared as he used [Dash Lv.4].

Shockingly the target was once again Kiin.

'Tch, so that's their plan huh?' thought Kiin as he once again used one of his repositioning skills to evade Lev's attack.

'It's inevitable that I would be chased down. If that's the case, then...'

"Harry, don't worry about me, focus on taking them out. These guys won't attack you until they take me down!"

A flash of enlightenment dawned upon Harry, finally realizing what the opponent's plans were after hearing Kiin's words.

"Tch, so that's their plan..." Harry muttered, ordering his rock golem, Golteb, to focus on attacking the warrior, Lev.

Meanwhile, he himself tried to hit Finn using spells but the bastard was too quick.

Akin to a slithery snake, Finn dodged the projectiles Harry threw with relative ease, showing everyone why mages were bad in match-ups against scouts.

"Harry! Stop hesitating! Use your trump card!" Kiin exclaimed.

He was reaching his limit, in a few more seconds he would probably be eliminated.

Thus, Harry had to take one out before Kiin was eliminated, Finn–if possible.

Gnashing his teeth upon hearing Kiin's resolve, artificial storm clouds formed over the entire arena as Harry waved his staff and started chanting unintelligible words.

'Tch, what is that mage up to?' Finn thought, slightly wary.

It didn't take long for him to get his answers though as his hair stood on end, every pore on his body screaming for him to escape from the area.

However, he decided to ignore it thinking that as long as they stuck close to the archer, then the mage should have limited attacking options.

Unfortunately, just a short while later, he found out the hard way that he was very wrong.
