Flying Dust [Fei Chen]
Chapter 60 Part 1
“You put He Yunfeng in your heart and squeezed out a little gap for Jun Wushuang, compared to them, I am so much more pitiful.” Lu Qingmo’s voice came out leisurely, making Mo Fei Chen come back to his senses.
He sometimes wondered how Lu Qingmo had guessed what he was thinking about, it was so obvious that He Yunfeng could not do so.
Mo Fei Chen smiled and used his wine glass to touch Lu Qingmo, “Let them go then, how about ua, these two brothers have a few drinks?”
Before Lu Qingmo could say anything, those young men who came in smiled and left one after another.
This time, it was very simple between them.
There was no He Yunfeng, no Jun Wushuang, no Wen Qian Liu and also no Jiang Hu.
Just a simple clink of glasses (in a toast) and a few words of leisure talk.
When Lu Qingmo said that it was getting late and they could go back, Mo Fei Chen suddenly felt a sense of sadness and reluctance.
When he walked out of that shop, Qu Xiruo was unexpectedly still standing across the street.
Mo Fei Chen suddenly felt a headache for this his little sister’s stubbornness. People who were too persistent were just as vulnerable as those who were too kind, just like Jun Wushuang who couldn’t see himself in his stubbornness. He was just about to say something to her when Lu Qingmo’s palm was on his cheek, pulling his face over to the other side.
If you don’t like it, don’t leave any gentleness behind, and in this respect Lu Qingmo did a much better job than he did.
Qu Xiruo followed behind them, keeping a long distance between them, but Mo Fei Chen knew that at least she came back safely to the inn.
After lunch, Mo Fei Chen and Lu Qingmo were packing up their things in the guest room and preparing to rush for their journey, when suddenly at this moment, someone knocked on their door.
“Miss Qu?” Mo Fei Chen was a bit surprised and turned around to let her in, seeing that she was carrying pastries in her hand so he thought she might have something that she wanted to say to Lu Qingmo, “Then two of you talk, I’ll go to the shop manager to pay the bill.”
After about half an hour, Mo Fei Chen returned to the room and saw that everything was packed up and that Lu Qingmo was sitting at the table drinking tea. On the table was a plate of dessert, a white jade radish bread, one of Mo Fei Chen’s favorite snacks.
“What did Xiruo say to you?”
Lu Qingmo held his cup of tea, the moment his lips touched the cup, Mo Fei Chen’s breath once again froze in his throat.
“She said that when we get to the next town, she will go home and not follow us anymore.”
“Then isn’t it good? Looks like this pastry is used to say goodbye.” Mo Fei Chen picked up a piece and brought it to Lu Qingmo’s mouth, “Take a bite then, at least it was made by my little sister.”
“If you were the one who had made them, I would have eaten them all even if I was full to the point of bursting.” Lu Qingmo smiled lightly, picked up both of his bundle wrapped in cloth and Mo Fei Chen’s, then he went out the door.
If he did not want to eat it, never mind then, Mo Fei Chan picked up one stuffed it into his mouth, wrapping the rest in greaseproof paper and taking them all away. He could not afford to waste food, not to mention the fact that it was Qu Xiruo who made it.
Qu Xiruo was also sitting in the carriage as she looked at Lu Qingmo’s indifferent and coldness, her smiling face looked even more pitiful.
Mo Fei Chen sighed and sat next to Lu Qingmo, who was driving, with the packet of pastries in his arms, and passed it into his lips, “My big brother ah, I beg you to take a bite, please.”
The corner of Lu Qingmo’s mouth curled up into a smile as he lowered his head, his lips, not pressing the cake in Mo Fei Chen’s hands, he pressed it into his fingers instead.
His heart was already…, and he was about to withdraw his hand, however, Lu Qingmo took his wrist and ran his tongue along the crevice of his fingers, making it slippery and itchy. Mo Fei Chen did not dare to speak out loud, for fear that Qu Xiruo would poke her head out from inside the carriage to see what they were doing.
Lu Qingmo’s movements became unrestrained and wilder. Sucking on his wrist, where the blood vessels pulsate, he then looked at Mo Fei Chen’s already pale face, he raised his eyebrows and smiled, as if he was going to say, “Don’t come to tease me again.”
The very moment his wrist was loosened, the cake fell down.
Mo Fei Chen gave him a blank look, not knowing whether what he had just done was a joke or whether he just really wanted to do it. He wanted to go inside the carriage, but he felt tired when he looked into Qu Xiruo’s eyes, so he continued to sit beside Lu Qingmo without saying a word. Mo Fei Chen felt a bit depressed, since neither side was easy to coax. He took out the pastries, ate two pieces, clapped his hands and pretended to fall asleep.
It wasn’t long before Mo Fei Chen felt his whole body, whether up and down, getting hot, and his back kept sweating non stop, “Lu Dage, don’t you feel hot all of a sudden?”
Lu Qingmo tilted his head to look at him before then he stretched out his hand and put it into his forehead, “It’s indeed really hot.”
The moment the other party’s hand touched him, suddenly a cool sensation came over him. Mo Fei Chen grabbed his hand and pressed it against his cheek and neck, feeling much more comfortable. Lu Qingmo was surprised and he also almost lost his concentration as the carriage almost drove off the road.
Mo Fei Chen grabbed his hand and pushed it into his collar, his eyes were misty and his lips were red. Lu Qingmo instantly understood what was going on, stopping the carriage, he lifted the curtain and grabbed Qu Xiruo out from inside the carriage, “What did you put in the cake?”
“It’s… is…” Qu Xiruo’ has never seen the always smiling Lu Qingmo reveal such a cold look on his face, she suddenly couldn’t even speak clearly.
“What is it?”
