Chapter 7: The Gaze From The Other Side of The Galaxy
The Galactic Republic is a behemoth that has ruled Tens of Thousands of Systems in the Galaxy since more than 25,000 years ago. Since its establishment, it has been jointly ruled by the Galactic Senate and the Jedi Order.
April 15, 25018, Republic Era, 35BBY, 0:4:15 {Note 1}. Coruscant, the capital of the Galactic Republic, is also the most developed and prosperous planet in the entire Galaxy.
The Jedi Temple, Coruscant and the Galactic Senate are tied for the most magnificent buildings. Five towers stand above the huge trapezoidal main building, which is thousands of meters high and more than 500 meters wide. This architectural structure also marks the supreme authority of The Jedi Order, the guardians of the Galactic Republic.
A grey-haired, hale and vigorous 70-year-old man stood in one of the towers of the Jedi Temple, and reported in a cold tone: "Master Yoda, Senator Palpatine has agreed to participate in the parliament Provide support and promote the judicial fleet to directly send troops to rescue the planet Niele."
Standing by the window of the hall with his back to this side is a shriveled old man covered in green, less than one meter tall, with long ears, like a goblin, holding a cane, overlooking the entire Coruscant through the window.
Master Yoda, the Supreme Leader of the Jedi Order, is also a respected elder. Hearing the report from the person who came, he didn't look back, but nodded and said: "Thank you, Master Dooku. Very important, Senator Palpatine's help."
The grammar of his speech was very strange, and he always put the subject behind, which became a somewhat awkward inverted sentence.
The old man named Master Dooku also responded very coldly, he just nodded slightly, turned around and left. When he came to the door, he turned sideways and said coldly: "If sending troops to rescue a planet besieged by pirates requires using personal connections to push the bill through the parliament, then tell me the way forward for the Galactic Republic Where? And what should the Jedi Order do with itself?"
Master Yoda just turned his back to him, and after a while, he said slowly: "Call me master, you should."
Dooku's cheek twitched, he turned around abruptly and slammed the door away.
After a long time, Master Yoda took a deep breath, turned around and looked in one direction, his gaze became deep, and he shook his head slightly.
Outside the door, Master Dooku suppressed the anger in his heart and walked quickly along the corridor. A pair of mentors and apprentices in rough clothes walked towards them. They were a middle-aged man with loose hair and a very energetic young man with a crew cut.
Seeing Dooku approaching, the middle-aged man stepped aside, bowed very respectfully and said, "Master."
Dooku was upset, but he nodded in response after seeing the middle-aged man and then walked out of the Jedi Temple.
The middle-aged man kept his bowing posture and waited for Dooku to go away, then he brought his young apprentice into the room where Dooku had just walked out.Read latest chapters at novelhall.com Only
"Master Yoda, are you looking for me?" The middle-aged man walked into the room and bowed deeply to Master Yoda standing by the window.
"The Force has fluctuated, I feel it." Master Yoda said.
"Yes, it will come after all." Palpatine said meaningfully, "By the way, I recently heard that there may be some problems in the Moddell sector."
"It's a barren area in the western region of the outer ring, full of abnormal hyperspace traps, and as far as I know, there is a giant black hole. It is beyond the control of the Galactic Republic. Is the problem that occurs there important? ?" Dooku was a little strange.
"It's not important, it's just a little bit of concern. If you can help me and have someone check it out, that would be the best." Palpatine said lightly.
"I'll send a few Jedi apprentices... well, forget it, I'll send some bounty hunters directly from my home planet Serenno." Dooku originally wanted to pass through the Jedi Order, but he immediately dismissed it idea.
"Thank you, Master Dooku." Palpatine showed that meaningful smile again, bowed slightly, and ended the communication.
"Why did you ask Dooku to deal with the force disturbance that recently appeared in the Moddell sector?" An extremely low voice suddenly came from behind Palpatine.
"It's like training a Cyberian war dog. Only by commanding it a lot will it gradually get used to your request... In the end, it's an order." Palpatine replied with a smile.
"You really only have this idea?" the voice asked again.
"Of course, my lord." Palpatine bowed slightly, hiding his expression well.
"Very well, since that's the case, the dispute over Planet Malastare still lacks some heat, you, go light another fire." The voice in the darkness said.
"As you wish, my lord." Palpatine still kept an impeccable smile on his face and walked out of the office backwards.

{Note 1}: The chronology of the world of "Star Wars" is based on the Battle of Yawen, which is the first Star Wars movie, the time of the battle where the Death Star was destroyed in "Star Wars: A New Hope" as a standard. BBY means Before Battle of Yavin, before the Battle of Yavin, that year was 0BBY.
And after the battle of Yavin, it was ABY years, which means After the Battle of Yavin, this book will not be involved in this era.
The Galactic Republic was established in 25053BBY, destroyed in 19BBY, and lasted for 25034 years. 35BBY corresponds to the year 25018 when the Galactic Republic was established, so according to the history of the Galactic Republic, this year is 25018. This year is also the time when this book begins. Of course, this is not the official year of the Galactic Republic.
New fans can understand it like this: BBY is the chronology of BC, and it comes backwards; ABY is the chronology of AD, and it comes forward, so that's OK, don't worry about anything else.
As for 0:4:15, this is the official standard chronology of the Galactic Republic, great resynchronization. You don't need to understand this, and I will basically not use this chronology in future books.
