Ton's of people want the MC to grow up faster, i understand that but don't think thats the problem. In actuallity if the author updated regularly (once a day) the pace of the novel would seem much better. The fights are some of the best I have read for GoT fanfic... period. The fight at bear island was amazing and so was the fight on the iron islands. Wish more epic battles were fought. My only true problem with this novel is the power scale and complexity of the worlds history. The power scales up way to fast and doesn't really feel at all like game of thrones. The original story seems trivial in the face of such a gap in power and the abilities of some characters are absurd.
