Chapter 6 Black Hand Gang

Boom!

Kicking the door as hard as he could, aiming near the door handle, the door swung open and instantly all the 11 thugs that were in the room sprung up and were on high alert.

Xavier's heart was racing, and he was shocked by how large the room was. It was more like a lounge, with multiple sofas and tables spread out along the edges.

Immediately upon striking the door down, he scanned all the figures in the room and recognised a few of them, while the system had already confirmed to him that all the targets were present in the room.

There were a few hookers there that had been throwing themselves at the Black Hand Gang members, and there was so much alcohol in their lounge that one could fill a swimming pool with it.

Xavier was finally faced with the Black Hand Gang and could release his pent up anger, as he tried his best to maintain his composure despite how much he just wanted to charge toward them.

Known for leaving black hand marks in their territory that they would spray paint, they had pushed their luck when they struck his mother.

And the rage he was going to let out was not only what they had caused by harassing his mother, but all the fury that he had previously had no choice but to suppress.

As soon as he kicked the door down, they reflexively jumped up and seemed to instinctively look for a way to escape, with most looking towards one of the windows that peered over the alleyway behind the bar.

However, that was only because they assumed it was a police raid.

Seeing that it was someone by themselves and looking at his figure, they couldn't help but laugh as they relaxed and let out a sigh of relief.

Xavier didn't have a particularly large figure and was lean, pretty average height and also alone, so he didn't intimidate the 11 men in the slightest.

But they were underestimating him too much and a man that was fighting for a loved one with nothing to lose was the most dangerous being that one could face.

-

Walking into the lounge, Xavier was completely silent as he scoured the room for any weapons or anything he needed to watch out for, still being careful.

Against so many opponents, even a single mistake could be the death of him, and he was definitely not planning on dying there.

"You stupid fucker! Do you know who we are?!" one of the men who was beginning to enjoy himself called out.

Out of all the 11, he seemed to be the least reputable, so was obviously the first to make his move, while it wasn't like they saw Xavier as a threat anyway.

But they were in for a great surprise.

Celebrating privately after 'earning' the most amount of money they had ever scored in a month, they had women, food, and booze prepared for their party. So it was to be expected they would be enraged when some random hooded and masked individual dared to intrude on it and even kick their door down.

However, that was exactly how Xavier was hoping they would react, knowing that being heated in a fight is not always a good thing and can cause one to attack wildly and create openings for their opponent.

That was also why, despite the adrenaline rush he was experiencing and the intensity of his predicament, he was still trying his best to remain relatively calm.

The man who had yelled first pushed the girl that lay on him off him as he picked up the metal pole that he kept beside his sofa and walked over to Xavier.

Meanwhile, a few of the others stayed stood up, but most of them, including the man that seemed to be their boss, sat back down, believing that the unknown individual would be easily taken down.

Seeing that there was only one man approaching him, and that the other two who had remained standing were watching from a distance, Xavier had a smile on his face under his mask.

It was just like he had hoped, and despite the first individual being slightly taller than himself and having a burly figure that was typical of a thug, Xavier was still confident that he could take him down.

Size isn't the be-all and end-all in a fight if one is skilled in combat, especially in a street fight without any rules. Although being heavy is definitely an advantage, it can be overcome with skill and speed.

And even though the opponent was armed with a metal pole, he seemed to be slightly tipsy after drinking and wasn't thinking straight.

Reaching the masked figure, the thug ferociously swung the metal pole towards the side of his head with a downward diagonal strike, which Xavier had expected from the taller and inexperienced opponent.

Yet, despite the imminent danger, Xavier remained calm and was in his element, with that attack marking the start of their battle.
