Chapter 33 More Like Demons

At first, upon picking the triplets up, they were very calm and well-behaved, while they were also clearly very intelligent.

"Big bro has actually got a friend?"

"Yeah, I'm your brother's friend, Xavier," he said to them with a smile.

"Nice to meet you, Xavier," the three of them said as they took turns shaking his hand.

They all had neatly combed long black hair and even as identical triplets, it was almost impossible to tell them apart.

Wearing the same clothes and accessories, and acting the same, Xavier was confused as to how Connor knew which one was which.

And to add to that, their names all rhymed, and they intentionally kept confusing Xavier and swapping names.

"My name's Rachelle."

"Mine's Michelle."

"And mine's Danielle."

Xavier nodded his head and memorised which one was which, but they kept swapping places, and it wasn't long before he got confused, even with his perceptive nature.

"What kind of name is Xavier anyway?" one of them asked, slightly mockingly.

"Now that she mentioned it, his name really is unusual," agreed Connor.

The four siblings began taking the mick out of his name and how posh it sounded, until Xavier finally snapped.

"I am right here, you know," he yelled.

The three mischievous girls and Connor laughed, and so did Xavier as he smiled.

"They aren't so bad," he said to Connor, thinking that this was their naughty attitude that he had warned him about.

Connor just smiled and knew what was to come.

-

As soon as they entered Connor's home, which was a pretty nice flat that was nowhere near as nice as Angela's, but also much greater than the one that he lived in, they jumped onto Xavier.

And the rest was history.

The cute little girls turned into small demons and they toyed with Xavier, until Connor finally pulled them off him.

"I told you they were a tough bunch to handle," Connor laughed as he helped Xavier up.

Giggling, the three little girls scurried off to the large bedroom that they shared, leaving Xavier laughing with Connor.

"They are the complete opposites of you," he couldn't help but comment.

"Smart, little, cute girls."

"Hey! Am I not cute?" he joked, knowing that he couldn't deny that he was right.

They burst out into laughter again and Xavier helped Connor prepare something to give them to eat before Connor told them, "You will be staying with my friend's mother for a few hours, okay?"

Smiling, they didn't seem to mind, but their evil smile caused a chill to run down Xavier's spine.

His face distorted, and he glared at them, before laughing after seeing that he had managed to frighten them.

"You better not misbehave. If you do, I won't be able to stop his wrath," warned them Connor, who also felt intimidated by the face Xavier had put on.

-

Calling his mother and asking her if she could look after them for the rest of the day, hearing that it was triplets, and that they were little girls, she was more than willing.

Xavier was pretty sure she would react that way, and with that, he and Connor took the three girls to his home, and as he dropped them off with his mother, he warned them one last time, "Make sure to behave."

"Of course, we will," they reassured the two of them with a cute smile, before closing the door.

Xavier was starting to get a bad feeling about leaving them with his mother, especially since she wasn't taking her meds, but Connor assured him, "They are good girls and with our mom dying during their birth, I think they will appreciate your mother who looks very gentle."

"I hope so," he said before leading Connor out of the rundown building his flat was in.

"So... What's the plan?"

"Well, you've seen for yourself how shit the home I live in is and yours isn't great either, so we need money. But first, we need at least two more members and one that has somewhere we can use as a base," Xavier answered honestly.

Connor just nodded his head and followed his new friend's lead, as they headed to a new Muay Thai dojo that had opened up a few blocks away from where they were.

Xavier had spotted it while on his way to the convenience store he had previously worked at and it looked decent on the outside, and he had also never seen it before, so it must have opened over the past couple of days.

It appeared to be pretty large and authentic, so he wanted to try it out and it was a great martial art for Connor to learn.

With his incredible power and physique, Muay Thai would help him to become an undefeatable monster and Xavier also wanted to learn some himself, since he had found that during his battle, he had used a few knee and elbow strikes.

He wasn't well-versed in them, but they were very useful and powerful, so wanted to practice them by training in Muay Thai.

But upon entering the dojo, it was hard not to laugh.
