Making his way toward the edge of the floor, Noah looked down to see Ruo'er and Yuan Ming clashing against each other. Seeing that the battle was yet to be over, he sighed and sat down.

"You know what I mean, going in a roundabout way, making deals with the boy Xin Yan wants to kill. Why are you doing this? Even if he betrays the sect and does what you asked him to do, what about the promise to make him the sect master of the sect?" Noah could sense worry and tenderness in her voice.
He knew she was worried that he would have a conflict with Xin Yan if she came to know about this little deal.
"Don't worry, I only told him that he would become a sect master; I did not give protection. Sect masters die every day. One more won't make much of a difference." Noah's words calmed down Elysia a little.

"I am worried that she will be lost... in revenge." After a moment of silence, Elysia once spoke up in a soft voice.
"She is not as weak as you think of her. Mothers can be the strongest warriors than any God of war on the battlefield. After all of this is over, I am sure she will find her will to live; if not for herself, she will for Long Tian at least." While Noah replied to Elysia, his fingers weaved a small sapling conjured by yang, earth, and water qis.
As soon as the sapling appeared, it withered away, crumbling to dust, only leaving a sour feeling in Noah's heart.
"It looks like the fight is over." He looked back on the platform. Ruo'er was fighting as a way to distract himself.

Back on the lower floors, everyone thought that Yuan Ming would be instantly dealt with like others and be sent to the lower floor, but to their surprise, more than an incense stick's worth of time passed by, and the fight still did not come to an end.

Under everyone's envious and greedy sights, the golden lotus floating in the air descended on the topmost floor until it stopped directly in front of Noah.
Just as they all waited to confirm the real appearance of the Lotus, Noah once again used his same move to store it inside his ring.
"Tch!" a series of curses echoed in the silent floor as everyone teleported to the next floor for the deciding trial.

"With this, the preparations are complete, all that's left is for these disgusting mortals to fall into the trap." In the empty room, the mysterious woman, floated around, checking the arrays she had deployed on the floor.
There were several diagrams and runes spread all around the room. Seeing the work she had done, a glint of satisfaction and appreciation appeared in her eyes, showing that she was pleased with herself.
"After today, I will become the real owner of this heavenly treasure. No one can stop me after that." Her eyes flashed with a dark light as she looked at the floating orb a little farther from her in the room.
It was the same orb that was along with her at the topmost level. The orb seemed to pulse with an ethereal energy after some intervals of time.
If Noah was here, he would recognize this energy as Mana!
As if sensing something, the woman flew in another direction while looking at the place where space itself seemed to wrap itself. She hurriedly cloaked her energy to not give herself away to anyone before she could even start her devilish scheme!

It did not take long before ten young humans appeared out of thin air. Before they could gather themselves, something attracted their attention.
"Welcome to the final trial, Mortals! Here you will either gain something or lose everything!"
Looking at the haughty and authoritative figure of the red-eyed woman, most of the boys and even some of the girls went into a trance. Seeing the sight, she could not stop a feral grin from appearing on her face.
