"This time I will give you a choice: walk away, and you get to live. Stand in my way, and you die, how is it? Interested?" Noah specifically looked at the weak disciples while saying this.
This was the last chance he was giving them to get away and live a normal life. Yet none of them had the slightest bit of hesitation. Their faces were laced with confidence and greed.
"So you think you can take me on with numbers? What did I expect, just the same old greedy people? I am the fool to think people would be different just because the world is different." Noah sighed as he cracked his fingers, readying himself to fight. His words were low enough to not be heard by anyone but Elysia, who had been paying attention to him all the time.

"So this is the array. Shall we make some changes to this?" Looking at the huge sky-blue veil of defense trapping everyone inside the sect, Noah grinned and snapped his fingers, causing the color of the veil to become transparent and the beautiful view of the night to appear in sight.
"How is this possible?" The elder who activated the array muttered in shock as he looked at what Noah had just done. He was unable to connect to the array anymore, which meant the boy took over the whole defense array with a snap of his fingers somehow.
Pulling her hand back, she kicked the man so hard that his body exploded on impact.
"Sorry, I don't have the time to waste on unrelated people. I would have let you go, but since you dared to participate in this act, none of you are innocent." She kicked a nearby table for it to fly across the hall and crush the incense stick that was still burning.
"Who are you?" Long Chen could not stop himself from asking the question that he most probably knew the answer to but could not remember.
"You know me... but today you will know me better!" Xin Yan's distorted voice became clearer as she altered her voice back to normal.
