Chapter 269 The Zither Lady!

"Do you have something to say, or are you making fun of me?" Wu Han scowled at Noah. Ever since they met, the boy had been treating him like an idiot.

"Kind of both." Without any change in his expression, Noah confessed before continuing. "Why don't you use your Soul Sense to look at her? Now, don't be a pervert, just look at her hands and Zither."

"How did you even— wait, never mind, you will give me another headache." Wu Han did not even care about Noah's jab when he mentioned Soul Sense.

He could not help but wonder how the boy even knew about it and why the hell he kept on messing with him even after knowing it.

Even though many questions arose in his head, he immediately rejected the thought of asking the boy about it. He did not have the habit of being embarrassed, nor did he like getting embarrassed.

*Woosh!*

Following the boy's instructions, Wu Han closed his eyes and spread his Soul Sense throughout the room. He could see through everything under his Soul Sense, and none could detect him.

He looked at the girl's hands and Zither and was shocked by what he saw. His shock only grew when he thought about how the boy even knew that it was there when he had to use his Soul to look at it.

"That's...."

"Dao Rhythm." Noah completed the sentence he started and looked at the girl with a curious glint in his eyes. "A mortal using Dao Rhythms. Wonderful, isn't it?"

Before Wu Han could nod back at Noah, he froze seeing something.

No! It was not something he saw, it was something he did not see!

Noah, while retracting his Soul Sense, noticed that he could not see Noah through his Soul Sense at all.

A thought flashed through his mind, causing the blood from his face to vanish. He looked at Noah with a pale face and trembling lips.

'Ghost!'

He wanted to scream out loud, but his vocal cords seemed to have lost all of their strength, and they could not even work properly.

"Why do you look like you have seen a ghost?" Noah raised his eyebrows at him. The man looked so frightened that one would think that he was about to pee himself.

"It is a secret!"

"You!!!"

"Would you look at that, the song is coming to an end." Noah snapped his fingers, and Wu Han felt something disappear from his sight. He could only stare at the boy dumbfoundedly.

One after another, the boy gave him so many shocks.

'Who would have thought I would meet someone like him.' Wu Han thought as he looked at the black-haired boy, an anomaly he came to meet.

He turned his attention back to the lowest floor where the beautiful girl played the last melody before the song came to an end.

*Tap!*

Hearing the sound of footsteps coming towards them, Wu Han turned to the side and became alert, seeing it was the madam who was approaching them.

"Why is she coming here?" He whispered to Noah.

"I called her here with a thought transmission."

"Why?"

"You don't want that girl as a disciple?" Noah deadpanned at Wu Han before turning to look at the woman who was already standing in front of them.

"I loved the music, kind lady. It was like.... Music to my ears." Noah smiled warmly and took out another pouch from his storage ring and passed it to the madam.

"What do you want?" The Madam did not become enthusiastic this time. Seeing the amount Noah had just offered her, she became cautious instead.

"I would like to offer you an opportunity to change the fate of someone's life, someone close to you. Will you be willing to take it?" Noah did not mind her serious tone and kept smiling. His voice contained a hint of mystery and seriousness. Hearing the words, the Madam raised her eyebrows at Noah.

On the side, Wu Han felt like he was in front of a guy who was going to ask him for his soul.

He wondered if meeting the boy was good or bad.
