As soon as Noah's hand touched her forehead, Song Liu felt a warming sensation enter her body, causing her to feel a comfortable feeling. She felt the warmth coursing through her entire body.
After enveloping her body, the energy started to become more concentrated. She felt a pull at something inside of her. She could not fully understand what she was feeling as this was the first time something like this had happened to her.
With that tug, something was pulled out of her body through her head as Noah pulled his hand back.
*Woosh!*
A warm glow appeared from the depths of her soul realm and covered the entire room.
Noah immediately activated the seals he had placed on the whole area their house was built on.
No one had the time to even care to check the changes in the atmosphere as they were too shocked by the sight in front of their eyes.
Right in front of them, there was a huge illusionary figure of a beautiful woman. She was sitting cross-legged on a Lotus with a Zither in her hands. Her facial features resembled those of Song Liu but were more mature and ethereal.
But the most eye-catching thing about her was the necklace around the woman's neck. There was an eerie-looking chain wrapped around the woman's neck, so tight that it strained her neck.
The woman suddenly opened her eyes and looked around the room. Her eyes contained a hint of sorrow and indifference.
Her eyes paused on Xin Yan for a second before she moved towards Wu Han. There was not a single change in her emotions even for a second until they landed on Noah.
A ripple passed through her eyes for a second before returning to normal.
*Woosh!*
Xin Yan wanted to say something else too, but she decided not to say anything seeing the devastated look on Shisan's face.
'There is one more point to the curse. Whoever has that physique is destined to be lonely and stuck at the peak of the immortal realm for the rest of their lives until they die.'
"How do you— No, Nevermind. '' Wu Han wanted to ask something but stopped himself in the middle, knowing fully well what their deal was.
"I knew about that information because I know someone who is part of the alliance, and he told me to create a sect that is not known to anyone.
My purpose was to gather a force filled with talented disciples who can go against whoever it is that is trying to cause chaos in the empire."
Noah nodded, hearing his explanation, but he also knew that it was not the whole truth.
He could tell that Wu Han was lying in between and was just telling half-truth. Despite knowing that, he did not call him out on it.
"Is there a way to treat her and get her to speak?" Wu Han asked in desperation. He wanted to cling to any hope of curing his disciple.
Shisan also looked at Noah and Xin Yan as if they were her rays of hope. Tears streamed through her eyes.
"The only thing she could try is to get stronger or maybe find someone who knows how to break a curse of that power," Noah shook his head, declaring he did not know anything about the cure.
"There should be hope for her because she spoke." He then added with a frown on his face. "I wonder how she came to speak through such a powerful curse."
"What do you mean?" Wu Han frowned hearing his muttering. He also understood the point Noah was trying to make but he wanted to confirm.
"If she spoke, that means there is something different that sets her apart from the other bearers of this physique, and that should be the key to her cure," Noah explained while thinking.
'The way she looked at me was as if she was trying to convey something. I wonder how that even happened when that was nothing but a mere representation of her physique.'
