Chapter 324 The Eternal Despair!

"Do you really think I let you go through this to give you your power back?" Even Lucian, who was at the end of the crown, felt himself shake in fear of that voice. If the shock was not enough to scare him, what happened next was world-shattering for him.

"Heed my call, Divine Sword Celesita!"

'How is that possible?' hearing the familiar name of his sword, the hero was shocked. 'Does he think that he can wield my—"

But then suddenly the sword only he had the qualification to wield in the whole world started trembling, responding to the call of someone else than him.

The very thought shocked his whole world; he tried to grab it to stop the sword from leaving his back, but the sword dodged his hand and rushed towards Noah.

*Woosh!*

Noah raised his hands, grasping the sword with his hands, he raised his head and looked Nhalos in the eyes. Nhalos felt that those hollow eyes of his were looking directly at his soul.

*Splurt!*

Noah suddenly slashed down the sword under everyone's eyes and slashed off Nhalos's finger.

"Argh!!!!" Noah frowned, noticing that Nhalos did not even feel that much pain coming to him because of the ice that was numbing his body.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Not enough... You will feel the agony you caused her to feel!" Noah suddenly snapped in anger and bashed his head back into the ground with his other hand.

*Bang!*

Noah's hand suddenly glowed with a strange light, and a magical circle appeared around Nhalos's mind.

"This is the first time I am using my seals to torture someone," Noah muttered and slashed his sword once more.

"ARGGHH!!!!!" *Shatter!*

A satisfied smile appeared on his face when he saw Nhalos wriggling on the ground like a worm. His body started to emit dark miasma due to the unstable state of his mind, which caused the ice holding him to shatter.

"I will kill you!!" Noah did not do anything seeing Nhalos being freed from his hold and watched coldly as the man got up and charged at him with his bare hands covered in the miasma.

Hearing her words, Noah looked at her as she added, "You were the savior of our divine race. It was never that treacherous bastard. I implore you to lead the elven race for us."

She bowed to Noah in reverence as tears of joy left her eyes. Seeing her actions, the rest of the elves, including the priestess, bowed along with her. They prostrated themselves in front of Noah, hoping that he might spare their lives and they could get their connections back with nature.

*Woosh!*

*Thud!*

"Aah!" The priestess watched in shock as she saw the head of the old woman rolling on the ground. "Mother!!" She screamed in pain as she rushed to hug the still-warm corpse of her mother.

"You had the gall to say that to me after you all came here and did nothing as he attacked her." Noah looked at them with a disgusted look on his face. Even the old man by his side looked at all the elves with a dissatisfied look on his face.

"There is no need for such a race to be left alive." Saying that, he raised his hands which glowed with several complex magic circles before lowering his hand.

But....

Nothing happened!

Or so they thought before they saw a blinding light coming from the highest level of the sky. Feeling the hotness coming from the sky, they all looked up, and their eyes widened.

Panic and dread took over their whole body as they saw a huge meteor the size of their continent making its way towards them. The meteor was like a small sun burning with energy as it descended from the sky with the intent to annihilate everything...

*BOOOMMM!!!*

*Tinggg!-*

As the meteor struck, a huge mushroom cloud appeared in the area before the blast sounded, and the explosion waves blasted everything on the surface of the elven continent, what followed after was deathly silence and eternal darkness.

Until....

Your journey continues on empire

"How long are you going to stare at me? I am not that pitiful, just a little lonely." Noah's eyes trembled as he found himself in the frozen garden, hearing a familiar voice that tugged at his heartstrings at nighttime.
