Everyone is held their breath

Gu Jue’s track is not on the side, so when he walked over Ruan An’an couldn’t  just stand there like an idiot to be with him – the rules won’t allow it. So with his jacket in her arms Ruan An’an stood to the side and watched.

Ruan An’an gets surrounded by a group of boys and girls cheering for who-knows-who, so much that she had to tip her toes in order to get a view on Gu Jue.

For the first time in her life Ruan An’an felt her 5’4 height is not enough, she patted the commissioner’s shoulder in a hurry: “I can’t see! Hey commissioner, what place is Gu Jue?”

The commissioner didn’t answer immediately, after a few seconds he jerked his head back: “Holy first place!” He laughed out of control: “Hahaha awesome! Gu god is f̲u̲c̲k̲ing awesome! This year our class is no longer in last place in the Economic department! I don’t have to be laughed at anymore every time I attend the student council meeting! Hahahaha! Gu god!!!”

He then ran to the finish line crazily

Ruan An’an laughed and shaked her head, while walking slowly towards the finish line.

After the race, Gu Jue won’t have any more races other than the 200 meters and 800 meters race in the afternoon. Ruan An’an found Gu Jue and gave him her congratulations, “by the way, didn’t you say you didn’t get a good sleep earlier this morning?”

Gu Jue’s lip, wet from just finished his water, along with the sweat that dripped from his forehead, made him look exceptionally sexy

He raised his eyebrows: “Eh?”

Ruan An’an explained: “If you haven’t had a good sleep do you need to go back to the dorm? You need to run 1000 meters combined this afternoon, it might affect your performance…”

“…Why are you worried about this?” Gu Jue stares at her thoughtfully, and laughed: “Haven’t I told you? My stamina is quite well~”

His tone slowed on the last few words.

Startled by his words, Ruan An’an blushed “…”

She shoved the fragrant jacket in his arms, and ran.

Well you didn’t have to sympathize on the stamina part!

And you purposely said it in that tone!

It’s not that her thoughts are vulgar, it’s just the way he said it…it’s very suggestive!!!

Since Gu Jue had no more race that morning, Ruan An’an exited the sports field for the bathroom so she can return for Qiu Yan’s race later.

At that moment all the students are either at the field or in the dorm, or just went off campus, so the teaching halls are as empty as it can be. Ruan An’an didn’t see a single person on her way, but when she entered the first floor bathroom, she suddenly heard a female’s voice.

“Um…classmate?”

It came from the most inner part of the bathroom stalls.

Ruan An’an came to a sudden stop.

Mother f-…thank goodness it’s in broad daylight, if it’s in the evening she would’ve been scared to death.

But this voice sounded very nice and familiar.

“Is there anyone there?” The person asked again uncertainly.

Ruan An’an recognized it now.

It’s Xia Meng from a few days ago on the basketball court, the one who seemed to be discriminated against in Ruan Lin’s iron-four-sister-squad.

Ruan An’an hesitated, and replied: “En, what happened?”

“Ah…I just found out there’s no more paper left in this stall, and no one replenished it. Can you help me get some paper…”

Maybe it’s because the teaching hall is so empty, so the aunty(kind of like the janitor) did not change it immediately.

To be honest, Ruan An’an didn’t have any  grudge against Xia Meng, in early teens when Ruan Lin picked on her, the two others in her friend circle would always boast along with her, but Xia Meng always stayed silent.

Because Xia Meng didn’t bully Ruan An’an with her, Ruan Lin was always dissatisfied with her.

Ruan An’an remembered Xia Meng once said “if the person never offended me, I’m not going to join.”

Ruan An’an had always thought making friends as a hobby, just because you made a stubborn friend like Ruan Lin doesn’t mean you are a stubborn person, so Xia Meng never gave her a bad impression.

There’s a roll of paper outside the stalls, so Ruan An’an just rolled a big chunk and passed it to her from beneath the stall doors, “Here.”

Xia Meng thanked her, and Ruan An’an entered a stall of her own.

After coming out to wash her hands, a thought suddenly entered her mind.

The other two friends of Ruan Lin’s circle have a weaker background than the Ruan family, to the extent they need this friendship with Ruan Lin for benefits and partnership, but not the Xia family.

The Xia family’s status in Green City is ahead of the Ruan family by who knows how much, they even have a large share in many of Lin family’s projects. Lin Songbai and elder Xia also shared a good relationship and meet for chess often, the kind of friendship that allows you to shamelessly cheat when playing.

So Xia Meng is pretty normal? Why is she hanging around such an ungrateful person, is she planning something?

While she is deep in her thoughts, the stall door from the most inner part opened.
