[ May the Drakeheart Vanguard soar high and strike true. The world watches your ascent with bated breath. ]

"Awesome! Travis, we've really done it! We are the first to set up a clan!"

"There's even Clan Skills that will aid us in team battles! This is cool!"

"Wait... The weekly core bonus gives us 3 Zombies Cores every week and 5 Zombies Cores for the Guild Leader. This can even rise as our Clan Level increases! Wonderful!"

The members of the Drakeheart Vanguard erupted into cheers, their voices a chorus of triumph.

Soon, Travis chose a mythical beast suited for their Clan. After that, he took it out of the Clan's Inventory.

Whoosh~

With the help of his members, he unfurled the Clan Banner.

Its image was a dragon in mid-flight, fierce and unyielding.

It was a sight to behold... The group quickly found a pole so they could raise the banner! Furthermore, this banner actually had some effects to every members close to it!

"It's a pity we can only invite 15 other people in our guild. It means not everyone in our shelter can be part of us." One of the members muttered.

Within their shelter, there were a total of 34 people. Two of them were Scavengers, five of them were Survivors found hiding in basements or other hidden places within the city, and the rest were Foreign Survivors with mostly Common or Uncommon talents that weren't useful in combat.

However, with their help, Travis and the others with great talents were always able to get new equipment, clothes, and various things that would make their life easier because of these "untalented" Foreign Survivors. They may be useless in combat and need to be protected, but with their Talents and Survivor Skills they could learn, Travis was able to put them to use.

'There was no useless Talent, only useless Survivor.' This was the motto that he'd like to say to those people he was planning to recruit.

"Don't worry... Once our Clan Level rises, we can recruit more people... However, we have to ensure that we recruit those who are loyal to us... They should pass Kerby's Lie Detection tests first." Travis said with a smile to one of his colleagues...

That was his best friend who had the talent to see through lies as long as their level was lower than him!

"Don't worry... I'll continue finding trustworthy people..." Kerby said with a smile.

Anyway, after this matter was settled, they discussed about Clan Hall they would build, a place of safety for everyone!

They also discussed the quests they would undertake and Clan Skills they should focus on.

Travis stood at the center, his heart swelling with pride.

The Drakeheart Vanguard was more than a Clan; it was a promise—a vow to reclaim the world from the clutches of the Apocalypse.

"I can do this... I'm the Hero destined to save this world!" Travis muttered.

His blade soon absorbed his energy and multiplied it for him! This allowed him to create a stronger draconic energy!

Clank~

Soon, his blade met the hide of the nearest Tyrant.

Sparks flew, but the Tyrant Zombie's flesh was barely hurt...

His blade wasn't deep enough to even cut an inch of the Zombie!

However, Travis' Dragon Blood was still continuously enhancing his strength!

"Not enough! I'll kill the three of you... Just you wait!"

The battle raged on, the air was soon thick with the scent of blood...

The Survivors' cries and the Tyrants' guttural bellows continued for some time...

In the end, it was Travis's Indomitable Will, a Survivor Skill, that turned the tide.

With a roar that rivaled the Tyrants', he unleashed the full might of his Dragon's Blood talent.

His blade glowed white-hot, and with a superhuman effort, he cleaved through the arm of one Tyrant.

The creature howled, its previous aura of invincibility in the eyes of the Survivors, was now shattered.

Seizing the moment, the remaining Clan Members rallied, as their spirits were reignited. They descended upon the wounded Tyrant, their combined force finally drew blood!

[ You have eliminated a Tyrant Zombie ]

The battle continued, and soon, with a total of 8 deaths from their side, the three Tyrant Zombies were killed...

Obviously, Travis wasn't satisfied with this result.

Travis surveyed the aftermath with a heavy heart.

"If only we had two more Survivors with Legendary Talents suited for combat... this loss could have been avoided..." He lamented, the weight of leadership pressing upon him.

It was clear that the time had come to expand their Clan, to seek out those with the prowess to stand against such formidable Zombies. For this, he had to visit the Regional Chat once again or send private messages to those strong Survivors...

Of course, he first had something to do.

He knelt beside the fallen Tyrants. Then, his hands touched the Tyrant's arm and triggered the system's looting process.

[ Do you want to retrieve the loot? ]
