Chapter 127: The Strider

Shane pondered the names and their supposed Epic Talents, envisioning the formidable Clan they could become. With Raze's friends, they could certainly build a decent Clan. He only had to worry whether he could really trust these people.

He couldn't help but think that they might also dislike the fact that an unknown guy would suddenly become their Clan Leader.

[ Shane: They sound like amazing Survivors that I'd want in my Clan. We should meet up. How much time is left for that potion? ]

[ Raze: Awesome, I'll send them a message. There's still 1 hour and 51 minutes left. ]

[ Shane: That's more than enough. We'll meet up after the Auction here in the main hall. ]

[ Raze: Cool! I will message them! Can I tell them that you're the one who first reached level 2 and unlocked the Chat Function? And... I think you're in the Top 10 Leaderboard, right? Can I also let them know about that? ]

[ Shane: I don't mind you telling them that I'm the first to reach level 2... But how can you be so sure that I'm on the Leaderboard? ]

Shane asked curiously.

[ Raze: Heh... It's a woman's instinct. You are using Item Upgrade Crystals for trades. You have 5,000 points you can spare for me... and I am in the Top 10 Leaderboard. How can you not be?! ]

At this reply, Shane was a bit surprised for a moment before he swiftly checked the Leaderboard once again.

Shadow Strider - Level 19

Raven Guard - Level 15

Iron Maven - Level 15

Blade Whisper - Level 15

Ghost Warden - Level 14

Fury Singer - Level 14

Silver Reaper - Level 13

As soon as she sent all the messages, Raze heaved a sigh of relief as she waited for their response.

In the Grand Auction Hall, amidst the din of bids and the auctioneer's rhythmic tempo, Lyra's communicator buzzed discreetly.

She glanced at the message, her sharp eyes flicking up to scan the crowd... Beside her, Jaxon, leaned in to complete his bid before his own device signaled Raze's update.

Lyra and Jaxon looked at each other. Since they will meet outside after the event, it means that Shane, the suspected Shadow Strider must be here!

"Interesting... I didn't think that Raze would have such a contact." Lyra muttered.

"Yes... I guess the strong flocks together." Jaxon muttered as he knew that Raze may not be the strong alone but with her dragon, she was certainly a force to be reckoned with.

After a few moments, the two of them replied to Raze.

[ Lyra: Received. I've got my eye on a few items, but I'll be there. ]

[ Jaxon: Understood. I'll wrap up here soon. ]

Their responses were swift as they both felt excitement to be with the strongest Survivor of their Region! Who would decline such an offer?! Only those crazy ones would!

Meanwhile, in the vibrant chaos of the Market Bazaar, Kael browsed the medicinal herbs, his hands deftly assessing their quality. Tessa wasn't too far from him as she looked among the stalls, her eyes keen for hidden treasures that could aid their survival.

The ping of Raze's message drew them out of their reverie, aligning their focus on the great opportunity that just landed on their laps.

[ Kael: Message received. I'll gather what supplies I can before joining you. ]

[ Tessa: I'm on it. There's potential here in the Bazaar, but the Clan comes first. ]

In the meantime, after Shane concluded his conversation with Raze, the next item that had appeared caught Shane's attention. It was only an Intermediate Survivor Scroll, but it was actually a Chemist Skill!

He may not want to have anything to do with chemistry, but Anna might need this skill. Well, he wasn't sure if Anna could use this, but he would certainly try...

After winning it for 620 Points, Shane's thoughts were finally drawn to an important matter: the name of the Clan he was about to build!
